Magnus apparently doesn't have to worry about the front, and he has no problems guarding the rear. He'll wait for the others to disembark and do just that, then. He wordlessly hefts himself to his feet, minding the humans as he does so.

Carly looks between all the robots as they talk back and forth about who should go outside first, and then... no one actually goes outside. Finally she rolls her eyes, gives Chip a really mischievous smile, and slips out the shuttle door.
She would continue the debate with him and all, but that would delay ADVENTURE.
The Autobots can come along if they want to.

At first he casts a questioning glance at his friend, about to ask if that's really wise, but then it makes way for a cheeky grin to match her misschievous smile. Oh, Carly is so not going to set first foot on this planet! He casts a glance at the robots before rolling after Carly, his hands expertly pulling at the wheels to propel himself forward, and in no time at all he has raced down the ramp and gawks at the amazing scenery outside. "Wow. They will write books about us, you know. We're making history!"
Guzzle, in the meantime, notices the two humans, quirking an optic ridge as he points at them with his gun. "Passengers are lettin' themselves out." _________________________

"The humans are... uhm..." Pincher stammers.
Surely, this cannot be a good idea?
He chases after them down the ramp, optics... eyes... wide at the blue landscape, with the blue dirt, blue rocks, and blue trees. The trees seem awfully still to him, not moving like the ones he has seen on Earth, not full of ... squirrels, was it? Preliminary deficit of fauna...

Drift offered to take point. Magnus won't dispute that. But he won't stand here while the humans wander off into unknown territory, either, and he's shortly on Pincher's heels after Carly and Chip. While Pincher takes in the sights, Magnus looks around for threats, not much caring about the monochromatic landscape beyond what hostile elements it can hide.
"I'm sure you're eager to explore," he says, stern and worried as he tries to head the humans off, "but we aren't just here as a shuttle service. We're also here to ensure your safety – something you're making more complicated than it needs to be."

How's Chip going to set first foot? He doesn't walk!
She makes a face. "Would be nice to have a book where the most important thing about me isn't, 'Wife of Commander Spike Witwicky.'" She loves her husband, loves him dearly, but one of the reasons she does love her SETI job so much is that there, she's more 'Doctor Carly Witwicky,' and less, 'Commander Spike's Wife.'
She looks up at Ultra Magnus, wide eyed and innocent. "But we've got so much to do and not much time! You guys keep going on about that, don't you? So we really should be getting started!" She twirls around, arms thrown out at the landscape. "You've brought me here to see a new world, and I want to see it! If you're here to protect us, than please, come on!" Then she looks around. "Which way? Can we see any of the natives? Where are they?" Her exuberance is practically pouring over at this point.

An arrow pings off of Ultra Magnus's armor. Then another. Then two more.
Perched in a tree at the edge of the forest, a pink-skinned woman nocks another arrow and draws back. Her expression is grimly determined, the area around her left eye a livid red in a way that might make the humans think of black eyes. Long pointed ears have been notched, the right moreso than the left.
She's not quite the Talaria that Perceptor would recognize.
OOC: Pinging arrows off Ultra Magnus with player permission.

Chip would love to chip in and convince the robots to just go out there already. He really would! But with everything being blue, the pink alien stands out enough for him to notice her from the corner of his eye. Before he can say anything arrows are flying, and while they might not hurt the Transformers, he is a bit more concerned about his own safety. "I think the natives found us!"
As soon as he heard the pinging of metal on metal, Guzzle comes running down the exit ramp, providing cover for the two humans to hide behind, something Chip eagerly accepts. He growls, raising his gun, but doesn't fire yet. "Feh. Primitive. What's the plan, fire off a warning shot to make 'em scatter?"
Chip, on the other hand, does not like the sound of that. "No! That will just sour our first contact with them! We have to resolve this now, get across that we're not a threat and that we come in peace!"

In a flash, Pincher summons his Pretender armour, so instead of looking like a MiB, he now looks like... some bizarre cosplayer.
Then he tries to step in front of both Carly and Chip. Look, he can cast forcefields if he really feels like it. He is the obvious guy to put in the way of shooty things.
Pincher says softly, "As Dr. Chase says. Besides... it is her moon, after all," and he inclines his head towards Talaria.

As Drift had already taken point, and was already outside the ship, the others could discuss who would go next to their hearts' contents. Perceptor does squawk a rather indignant, concerned noise of protest, however, when first Carly, then Chip, both slip out before Drift could return to notify everyone that it was safe to exit the ship.
"Wait! There may be natives in the trees, shooting arrows at us!"
Hey, there had been last time he'd been to a Titan!
He manages to get outside in time to see, yes, arrows, zinging out of the trees. Fortunately for the robots in the company - Pretenders included - arrows bounce off of metal armor. Perceptor isn't willing to find out how well those arrows penetrate space suits, though, and joins the others in attempting to shield Carly and Chip.
"Do not harm the natives, Drift!" he remembers to warn the Knight. "They are merely attempting to defend themselves from what appears to be an invading army! The weapons are not harming us, thus far; please do not retaliate. Merely defend and capture."
He only hopes that he's quick enough with that warning/order. Starting the visit with killing one of the Titans would be... Rather Unfortunate.

((ooc: Please if I word things so badly next time that you are confused as to my intent, I can be reached via PM or IM to clarify.))
Apparently the humans had been...stupid. They might be smarties on Earth; but common sense was apparently entirely lacking.
Sort of like Perceptor.
"Hnh." Figures. Oh look. The natives are hostile and armed. SURPRISE.
Well, surprise back at you. So's Drift. He's midlunge to the first tree when Perceptor's admonition reaches him. He stops, turning, arrows clanging off him, with his look pretty much saying everything. Are you fragging serious?

OOC: The only lack of clarity was not posing leaving the ship. I wasn't about to godmode Drift doing anything not posed by his player.
Magnus has a hard time registering the primitive missiles as a threat. He barely even feels them rebounding from his plating. And while his rifle is automatically in his hand as a reaction to the attempted assault, he keeps it at his side, lowered.
"We're more of a threat to them than they are to us, if this is all they have," he says, eyeing Chase and Perceptor dubiously. He turns to the native girl and adds, "How many more of those things are you going to waste?"

Common sense? What's that for?
"Hey!" Carly says, instinctively ducking even if she's not being fired at. Once she sees that she's literally surrounded by metal robots and therefore safe from wooden arrows, she peers up towards the alien, eyes wide in amazement.
"Do we even know what language they speak?" she asks. Surely this completely alien culture wouldn't speak English!
Except this is a cartoon, so they just might.

As soon as Drift charged, Talaria dropped to a lower branch of the tree. She half-crouches as she draws her bow again, already calling herself a fool for even talking this shot instead of running.
Then the red one calls the white one off, and the leader speaks to her. Talaria studies him with dark eyes - he is not a sky-god, she doesn't believe in sky-gods. But she won't let Jero use these- strangers to support his regime.
"None, I suppose," she answers, lowering her bow. "What do you want, stranger?"
She speaks to Ultra Magnus and only to Ultra Magnus.
He was the one who spoke to her, after all.

((OOC: It would help if you'd post. That right there would avoid confusion.))
Being on an alien planet with actual aliens is murder for your common sense.
Chip would probably be really freaked out by the English speaking alien if he didn't have his Babelfish the ear piece connected to his suit's computer translating everything. Or maybe not even then, because this is an actual, non mechanical alien! From their solar system! Using tools and showing intelligence!
There is a nugget of fear that weighs down his gut, but it's outmatched by just how excited he is. When the arrows stop flying, he even rolls past up from behind the giant robot. He doesn't interrupt, knowing that it would be rude, but he is recording everything with the camera build into his helmet and taking various mental notes. He hopes this alien woman will climb down to talk with them in person. That would just be spectacular!
...And boy, this alien woman sure looks a lot like humans. This is really going to cause a giant stir in Earth's scientific community.
