Stella is transfixed by the image of the woman on the screen, and accusations of espionage and terrorism die on her lips before they can be born. She tries to snatch the phone away from Rodney and says frantically, "Auntie? Who has you captive? Have they tortured you? Where are you? I'll get you out of there, whatever it takes!"
It says something about Stella's situation that she naturally assumes that her aunt would be captured and tortured.
She also seems completely absorbed and open to attack, should Rodney have nefarious things in mind.

As Rodney's phone is snatched away from her, Rodney blinks, exclaiming, "Hey!"
Kate, meanwhile, clearly looks baffled. "Listen, lass, I don't know what that knuckle-head told you, but I'm not your auntie." She looks thoughtful for a moment. "I'm pretty sure I'd remember a niece like you..."
Rodney, meanwhile, is well aware that Stella is vulnerable, and he does, indeed, have nefarious things in mind. He lifts his right hand, index finger and thumb extended, other fingers curled in, the classic "hand-gun" pose, and attempts to place it against her forehead. The message is (or should be) clear - if Rodney had intended harm, Stella just gave him all the opportunity he needed to off her, and he didn't take it.

"Damn it, Auntie, have they brainwashed you!?" Stella demands, gripping the phone hard enough that it might start showing some stress marks. Then she cuts a glance over at Rodney, and she realises that his fingers are on her forehead, and she goes very, very still.
He could be a blaster meta or have cyborged up hands or even just some poison under his fingernails. All these thoughts go through Stella's head.
What she says, however, is, "Wait, you called her a rust-bucket." Her brow furrows. "Did you make an evil android replica of my aunt? Who does that? That's pretty low, even for Initiative goons."
Again, it says interesting things about Stella that 'brainwashing' and 'evil android replica' are plausible events that could happen to her aunt.

Kate blinks, then sputters. "Brainwashed?!" she exclaims. Right, this is clearly a green haired crazy woman that Rodney's managed to torque off. Typical.
Rodney, meanwhile, lowers his hand and gives an exasperated sigh. "No. No, I didn't make an evil android replica of anybody. She's..." then he hesitates.
Eh. Why not? It won't sound any crazier than anything this woman is shouting.
"I'm second in command of the Autobots put in human form by a mysterious force and here to investigate energon crystals that we think was planted here by Shockwave, the Decepticon we came here looking for, millions of years ago, despite the fact that he shouldn't have been here millions of years ago." He then lifts his hand and attempts to snatch his phone out of Stella's hand. "And that is my security officer."
Kate's voice can be heard from the phone, "And you've obviously never listened to a word I've told you, you axel-cracked, grill-bent, tire-burst... has your clock stuttered?!"

Stella glances sidelong at Rodney, clearly thinking, Are you serious? She says slowly, "So... my aunt is possessed by a space robot. And you're a space robot possessing some poor pyrotech from Paramount?"
She is silent for a long moment. Then Stella speaks, "That's... an act of aggression against humanity. Why would you tell me that?" You know we'll just hunt you down and kill you all. That's what humans do. Well, it's what Stella does, anyway. "There are less-crazy cover stories than that, you know."
Hearing her aunt's voice but her aunt not even knowing who Stella is... hurts more than she thought it would. There's something haunted about her eyes. She clutches at the phone and won't let Rodney take it.

Rodney sighs. "No. Nobody is being possessed. It's... it's a lot weirder than that, honestly."
Yes, Rodney is saying that the real story is weirder than giant space robot possessions.
"And it wasn't our choice, anyway. There was no 'act of aggression.' And yes, I know there are less crazy cover stories. I'm well aware of that. And finally, I keep telling you... that's not your aunt!" He continues to try to grab the phone out of Stella's hand. At this point, he's thinking it may be safer to just break it, but if he keeps trying to pull it out of Stella's hands, maybe she'll break it instead, and he won't have to reveal his abilities.
Kate, meanwhile, covers her face with her hand. "Y'know I'm in the middle of my shift, right, lad?" she observes tiredly.

When he grabs for it, Stella flips the phone down into the sand to try to send Rodney scrambling after it. She wants to force his arms behind his back in a lock so that they can really have a talk.
This is not how this was supposed to go. He was supposed to claim her was working for some awful group, that they have Stella's aunt, and they will kill Stella's aunt unless Stella does awful things for them.
She growls, "Alice in Wonderland. You both give me nonsense until I start talking just to shut you up. Unless you can prove you're a space robot?"

The phone drops to the ground, but Rodney doesn't go scrambling after it. Instead, he slips the toes of his right foot under it, then flips it into the air and grabs it. "Alice in what?" he asks baffled.
"Alice in Wonderland, lad. It's an interrogation technique," Kate says from his phone. "You telling me your Kup never taught you this stuff?" she chided.
Rodney shakes his head and mutters, "I'm pretty sure I just call it something else." Surely, Transformers would have their own name for such a technique!
"And anyway, I can, but I won't. I've got no reason to trust you, and..." he shrugs. "I've got other things to do. I'll see you around." He steps away, though he's bright enough to just not turn his back... he starts by backing away.

Stella makes a mental note to just carry her gun everywhere. Gertrude wouldn't have been caught out like this. Stupid Control, telling Stella to keep a low profile!
She declares, after a moment of thought, "Insane Irish terrorist," and she lunges after him, but she's stopped by...

...Esprit, who has snuck up behind Stella and cuffed her. Stella is definitely being disorderly!
Some Time Ago
Captain Fanzone has summoned Dets. Hunt and Dahlia to his office. He looks grim, given that... debacle with Det. Hunt shooting that freak. The force looks after its own, however.
That's why he's sending them to Monaco as part of an exchange program to learn the technique of European police, such as croissants and espresso.
Also, it would be nice to get the creepy ladies out of the precinct for a while.
He's just saying.

"You know, even in Monaco, this is not done. Actually, especially in Monaco." Petunia steps out from behind Esprit, looking chipper.

Well, that was handy. Rodney hangs up the phone, and turns to run. This might seem a bit suspicious, since the cops might have some questions, but his instincts tell him they're not going to hold the green haired woman long. Or they'll hold her forever because she's a crazy lady, but he's rather suspecting that the reasons she was jumping to the conclusions she was jumping to (besides the fact that, if she is who he suspects she is, she's probably prone to overreaction, anyway) are that she's wrapped up in some strange business, and it's probably best if he doesn't push his luck just now.
Of course, now she'll have a reason to keep an eye on Rodney, but if she is who he suspects she is... that's probably for the best, anyway.

Sinews knit and muscles cord, and there is a squeal and then a crack as Stella wrenches one of her hands free. She is not superhuman in strength, but she is on the impressive side of normal, she is adrenalised, and her skin is pretty tough to damage. Fury wrought large, she fishes around in her waist pouch, pulls out an Interpol badge, and shoves it at the faces of the two mislocated lady detectives.
Then Stella curses, "You >ambulances<! He's a >firetrucking< Irish terrorist," that must be where Stella has seen him before, she has decided, "and you just let him get away! >Squad cars<."
If they look her up back at the station, they will find that she checked in yesterday... whether or not the files were actually there this morning.
"Go back to handing out parking tickets, get out of my way, and leave the freaks to me."

Esprit consists the woman's green hair and blue eyes and her general muscular build and imposing height. She considers the way that she saw the woman jumping. Esprit considers how she feels the urge to use this woman for target practise, which, to be fair, she feels about everyone she sees. She just feels it particularly strongly right now. Esprit wonders if this green haired woman hear voices in her head of another life.
She regards the badge coolly and shrugs. Esprit holds up a key, just out of comfortable reach, and deadpans, "You broke my cuffs."
Slag it, but she's going to be on fetch espresso duty all week long, isn't she? Maybe she can call her husband and just have him put a wanted bulletin for this green haired woman into an international database, make her vanish for a while...
Ned wanted to kill Springer, didn't he? Perhaps a green-haired leaping woman would be an appropriate anniversary gift.

The red-haired man runs, and Petunia almost lunges after him. There's a barely-restrained jerk of motion- But she holds herself back and on target.
She attempts to take the badge from Stella so she can get a better look at it. "Cool. Got proof of that? Not that you're Interpol, but that he's someone you ought to be chasing."
There's no tyranny like petty tyranny1, and if the mislaid lady detectives can't hang onto Stella because she's an Interpol agent, they can at least harass her.
