Okay. Here's the plan:
The current latest threads are Month 11, Week 1. There are already Transformers working on various ways to get people back in their own bodies, although some are limited by which reality the subject is from (for example, we've now established that the 'kill-and-reboot' method works for a Marvel character whose personality back-up is on file, and that spark extractors work on spark-only realities). In one of the most recent threads, Pincher is about to set off something pretty catastrophic with a mechavirus. That virus will shortly begin converting everything it touches into insane robotic scorpions, meaning that a growing circle of nutty contagious scorpions will be spreading from the Kaon office buildings/labs in Denver.
It had been decided awhile back that some of them would make a trip back to the Earth-well they found before to try and talk the Earth-soul into returning everyone to normal. This business forces people to move up their timeline, on the assumption that anything that could turn Transformers into humans and rewrite history can probably undo wild mechascorpion viruses. Spoiler: they'll succeed.
End result: At the start of Month 12, everyone's a robot again, and you guys know how, for the purposes of any scenes you want to set up with your roboting selves. Humanization plots are being left open to be played out at whatever pace people want to play them out, including ones related to what I summarived above. Things to note:
* It's up to you guys to decide how you got converted back, but there are limitations depending on what reality you're character is from. For example, if you're a Marvel, maybe you got killed and rebooted in a replica of your old body, but if you're a G1 'toon, you would have had to have waited until the Earth-matrix turned everyone else back (that is an option that's open to everyone). You can also decide if you spent any time as an insane robo-scorpion before being plopped back in your normal body at your normal levels of saneness.
* Everyone still has their human memories, include any memories of their 'false pasts' that might exist. Somewhat strangely, any research into those false pasts will show that they are still part of Earth's history. For example, Kate Mason's birth certificate, marriage records, and so forth still exist. Stella Ringer's family history and wild background is still in place. These things did not exist before the Transformers arrived, but the thing that wrote them into the past didn't bother to write them back out.
* Any human, animal, etc, that got turned into a robo-scorpion got turned back to normal, but while that whole business was fixed, it wasn't written out of the timeline and, indeed, is all over the news.
* Someone is probably selling toys and other trinkets based on the event within a week.
* Unless we hear otherwise, Starscream is in charge of the Decepticons now.
* The Autobots probably have a public relations mess on their hands. We're not going to work out ahead of time how they settle it; that can come through roleplay.
So, that's that! If you have more humanization plots you want to play out, play them out! If you want to be a robot again, set it after the start of month 12! If you want to do stuff that's part of the wrap-up plot, knock yourself out! Questions?
