Imp is not the most agile of Autobots super...heroes? Thus, she's not quite able to get out from under Bane's feet as he goes crashing down, and ends up, instead, entangled in them. She growls and twists, attempting to dig her hook into his leg.

What does it take for this bozo to go down!? Gertrude is squeezing as hard as she can (well, without applying enough force to break his neck), trying to hang on tight and not let him throw her off. Then one of his treetrunks legs sink through the floor. She hangs on tight, which means that she squeezes harder now. With a bit of luck, he will exhale in surprise and catch him before he can suck in fresh air.

Bane would like to growl at the pain of Imp's hook digging into his leg, but the fall has knocked the wind out of him and Gertrude is preventing him from acquiring more. He struggles weakly - though weakly for Bane still isn't exactly weak - in the mess of shattered boards and irritating superhero at his feet as bright spots start to speckle his vision.
He really hates human bodies sometimes. And air. And his human body's need for air. Wheezing in irritation while his head spins, Bane reaches for Gertrude again, wishing nothing more than to toss her across the room. And then stomp her head in.

Imp can only hold on awhile longer, caught, as she is, more or less beneath Bane, who is in the floor. In all the commotion, her hook comes loose, and she falls right through the floor and into the basement. She growls, then swings her chain around towards the hole, trying to catch it on something - the edge of the hole, one of Bane's body parts, something - to pull herself back out.

Bane isn't going to be giving Imp anymore trouble for now. His brain finally decides that it's going to go on strike until the lungs provide it better wages of oxygen and so the behemoth sprawls limply across the broken stage like a deflating parade balloon.

Imp grabs the jagged edge of the floor and pulls herself out, paying careful attention to Bane as she does. Once up, she looks at Bane and hnhs softly. Of course, even if the behemoth gives them no more trouble, that doesn't mean he won't escape from the authorities on his way to jail, or something along those lines.
He looks at Gertrude, eyes narrowed, and studies her a moment before looking back towards Metatron.
"You planned this, didn't you?" she demands.

"Oh yes," Metatron says agreeably. "Gertrude wouldn't have remembered on her own, and kidnapping her would have just made her grumpy."
