//Shut up, Sky-byte. I'm just trying to figure out if we're going to be not-following an Autobot or not-following a Decepticon. Unless this is Opposite Planet, I'm not taking orders off anyone named Starscream, no matter what side he's on, And I'm still the leader over here until we find Megatron or something better to follow.
Right, Starscream. You said something about energon?//

//He is going to follow me because the option is to perish alone! Much like your own situation, 'Sky-Byte.' So watch your vocalizer. Now both of you, stop your games. Transmit your approximate location. Look for landmarks if you can. We may even have some energon for you when you arrive.//
...And then he hears Demolishor's remarks.
//If that's what you think, FINE. I look forward to engaging you in battle with my troopers, Demolishor. Tell me, who are you going to be leading?//

//Now I really think you're a different Starscream. We haven't even met you guys yet and suddenly you want to fight us when you said we're all on the same side. Make up your mind, are you a 'con or not?//
Private, to Sky-byte: //Don't give him anything yet, not until we get his address. Just because he says he has energon, that doesn't mean he has any for us.//

// Probably not. Starscream is one of the oldest Decepticons still around. The Commander has rather limited patience, // Dead End says, // and I believe you exhausted his current store. //
A short silence. // Ah, no one has heard any sign of either Megatron or Galvatron, so as far as the majority of us are concerned, Starscream is the senior officer and thus, in command. There is at least one very powerful Autobot on planet, and the native technology is hostile. Though our long-term survival is doubtful, and in any case, moot, cooperation enhances all our chances of short-term survival. Particularly, yours. //

//I'm fine with cooperation, but your Starscream's kind of a jerk. Why's he in command instead of you? He sounds like a worse leader than Cyclonus would be.//

// If we were talking about my Cyclonus rather than yours, I'd agree with you. Our Cyclonus is one of the finest--and most loyal--leaders the Decepticons have ever seen; however, he's not here. Starscream is in command because he is Megatron's second-in-command, he's senior to everyone here, and he's quite a bit tougher and nastier than any other Decepticon here (that I know of). Oh, and he can lead, contrary to Megatron's oft-expressed opinion. An abstract quality, to be sure, but important. I am not temperamentally suited to leadership, nor do I aspire to it. //
A faint irritation is evident in Dead End's tone; at what, exactly, would be hard to say.

Another pause. Demolishor isn't used to so much weirdness.
//This temporal thingie you mentioned. That's what's making everything come out the opposite of how it is over where I came from, right?
Because the Cyclonus I know is a maniac loopy helicopter with an attention span of about two seconds. He has enough trouble leading himself, let alone everyone else. If your Starscream can lead, fine, but that doesn't mean I trust him.//

// Not opposite. Just different. My theory is that we are from different, but parallel universes. Something was slightly different in your remote past that made the current Decepticons come out with different names and shapes than ours. Perhaps something as simple as you having different customs as to when to reuse a name than we do. However, we're still enough alike that we share comm frequencies and a war with the Autobots, yes? //
Now Dead End sounds slightly amused. // Our Cyclonus, should you ever run into him, is a dead serious, fairly intelligent large purple starfighter with an overdeveloped sense of honor. He is also immensely powerful, second only to our Galvatron. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, he's not here. Your Cyclonus,// Dead End sounds definitely amused now, // sounds rather like an individual I know named Vortex. One of the Combaticons. //

//Definitely still have the war with the Autobots going on, and now chance of that stopping anytime soon. Never heard of any Combaticons, but I've never heard of you guys either.
So are you guys going to ever tell us where you are? There's a storm coming near us, we won't be going anywhere for a while.//

Skystrike cast a brief glance at the sky before finally dredging up some mild sense of sanity and answering in what she hoped was a neutral tone of voice, //You’re East to us, that’s all I know for sure right now,// she then sent Demolisher the map Dead End had given her. //We’re currently standing around in what we're quite sure is a service station. If you can find any roads near your current location then that would help you find us.//

A bit of crackling is heard, before a very irritated voice comes on the line...one who has quite obviously just arrived, and not heard a lick of the previous communications.
//Alright, then, me sparkies! Whoever 'as went an' dumped ye beloved cap'n on this bleedin' excuse for a planet, ye be fessin' up, an' I won' punish ye, too much. 'Owevah, if'n no one admits to this, there'll be 'ell to pay, as the Terrans say!//

Fleetwind's voice is strained and a bit tired as he takes on the task of greeting newcomers.
//Demolishor, as has been explained previously, we are at some sort of service station in a fairly expansive flat area, one filled with tall, thin organic structures of some sort. If you would describe your location, we may be able to guide you to ours.//
And perhaps set up an ambush. This particular newcomer has been little besides belligerent since his arrival, which, while fairly normal for a Decepticon, is still reason to be on the alert.
//Unidentified newcomer: who or why this has been happening is as yet unclear, but no one we've yet contacted has been responsible. Please state your name, allegiance, and most recent time-stamp.//
What the Seeker does not mention is that from his position at the service station, he can actually see the new robot fly skywards.
