Wow. Deadzone is a year old! And I can't tell you how thrilled I am with how strong it's still going! You guys are awesome!
And it's nice to have awesome recognized! That's why we've got the Praise board, and that's why we're holding this little awards ceremony, which we hope to make yearly. I'm interested to see who wins, but you know the saying, "It's an honor just to get nominated"? Well, it is. Because it's nice to know that someone thought enough about the job you're doing to think of you. But really, everyone here, by and large, does an incredible job at RP day in and day out, week in and week out, and I want to thank all of you for helping to make Deadzone the success it is.
Anyway, voting. Voting begins on the 29th of April, and will close on the sixth of May. We'll begin announcing results on the ninth of May. We are not voting by poll. As with the nominations, votes are to be PM'd to the Scenemod. Please start the subject line with the word, "VOTES." Each player gets two votes per category. You don't have to use both votes - you can use one or zero. If you do use both votes, they can't both go to the same nomination. Besides that, there are no restrictions on how you can vote, so yes, you can vote on your own character, and no, you don't have to vote for something you nominated if you've changed your mind.
Feel free to open threads to discuss the voting, but keep it at a category-per-thread. Keep discussion polite, and of course, no one has to reveal what they voted for or why, but folks can if they want to.
