A combination of shields and simple agility keep Evac from being eviscerated. His last foray has certainly sharpened his instincts for that, at least. Still, such a challenge must be answered, and he tracks Skyblast with his gun emplacement, firing a few shots off at the bladed fire.
"If we need to get out of here," he calls out to Holi and Long Haul, "Holi can probably fit inside me... And I can probably take your weight too, Long Haul."

Slingshot makes a disgusted sound as his alternate chases Fleetwind back through the crossfire of the Decepticon assault. He should just kill that one and put him out of his misery.
But there are other people to kill, people less likely to make Skyblast unhappy. Most of them are conveniently between him and the building he's been told to bring down.
Watch out, Decepticons. Friendly fire isn't.
He doesn't try to hit them, but he doesn't try not to, either.

Slingshot is allowed to kill Slingshot. Skyblast just doesn't want to do it, although if it came to a choice between putting a blade through Slingshot's core (either of them) or handing him to Skyfire, Slingshot would be one dead duck.
He tries to carry out Starscream's orders, but he's too distracted by wondering what it would be to have two Fleetwinds on fire and two Slingshots to play with. It's such a happy, cheery mental, to him!
Then Rodimus Prime gives him the excellent news that his alternate has bought it.
Instead of daydreaming, he should have been paying attention to the shots from the gun emplacements.
Skyblast takes one right through a wing, hard, and spins out.

Some of the anti-aircraft fire nicks her sides and puts a neat hole in one of her canards making Skystrike hiss quietly. It deters her little otherwise though.
She pulls up, still firing at buildings before she locks a missile at the tower she’d spotted Longhaul in, aiming and launching it at the very base of the gun platform where the generator for the forcefield might be. The seeker will move on down the building from there.

Starscream appears to be free of disruption from Aerialbots and their ilk. He's almost offended. But he shrugs it off, he's got bigger fish to fry. Namely, the large Anti-aircraft device right in front of him.
He continues firing Null Ray blasts at the device (again, the one manned by Long Haul) in an attempt to shut it down long enough for the building to collapse on it.
To those still attacking with him, he calls out. "That's Long Haul in there! If you can, capture him alive." But note, he did say If.
Once he's done that, he transforms back into jet mode, better for inflicting damage of a much more physical nature to the building itself.

Needlenose will continue to do generic attacky type things against the building until it starts to fall, mostly with photon missiles. Since this is kind of a busy thread, however, he's also proving that you don't have to be a Seeker to play Generic Background Seeker some days.

Duskwing snarled as his shots splashed off the forcefield, and then was brought up short as he plowed into the forcefield face-first.
"Ow! My node! You little smelt-sniffer, Hook just fixed my face!" Duskwing snarled at Holi--
Then the gunmount swung around as the panicked Holi tried to fire on him, smacking Duskwing in the air intakes and nearly knocking him down. "OW! YOU LITTLE RUNT, I'M GONNA--"
He ducked, and noticed Long Haul slipping away--out from under his gun's forcefield! Ducking low to avoid Holi's guns, Duskwing ran across the rooftop and tried to tackle Long Haul.
"Hah! Hook's gonna like this present!" Duskwing crowed.

Starfighter, in tribute to his background Seeker roots, is repetitively firing at the building in a manner that might indicate lazy animation. He's also swung around a bit to Needlenose's side just to make sure the Mayhem sees how brave he's being by attacking a building far larger than himself.

Long Haul's gun mount and its forcefield are knocked completely offline, both due to failing power connections and null-ray blasts from Starscream, so yes, Long Haul is, indeed, trying to slip away from it. Then he's tackled by Duskwing.
"I ain't nobody's present!!" he roars, attempting to deliver a punch to Duskwing and just generally flailing. Even if the punch misses, as strong as Long Haul is, he's able to break free. He shouts to Evac, "Grab Holi when you need to go! I've got to grab a couple of things from inside before it comes down around us!" And at that, with strength equal to some Dinobots (and not the Bambi kind), he puts first a fist through the roof, then pulls open a hole and drops through and out of sight. Others may follow, but Long Haul knows he can take a building collapsing on him and come out with relatively minor damage.
OOC: Long Haul is out of thread and leaving to get Emirate Xaaron-3, who is unconscious in medical, Tiny, who is huddling on top of Xaaron-3, frightened (she's gotten her Xaarons mixed up), and the replicator. These things need to be gotten out of the building by the Autobots. If anyone wants to give chase, anyway, PM or otherwise contact me and I'll set up a thread for it. The building itself will begin collapsing in earnest in another round. If no one else posts the start of the fall, Scenemod will step in. Feel free to do dramatic last minute departures.

Well, okay, he didn't manage to shoot the Decepticon, but Holi sure walloped him one. He'll count that as a hit. This is good! Not so good is the way the base is taking this pummeling in spite of the gunning crew's efforts. The hits are starting to come so fast he can't quite get a target lock on any one of the Decepticons, tremors jigging and throwing his aim every which way but accurate. Shots travel erratically, winging wide of their intended targets and generally filling the air with chaos. Maybe he'll tag someone anyway at this rate. He can only hope.
Even hope becomes moot when his force field gutters, losing power, and the roof tilts crazily under him as a support beneath the gun mount gives way. Holi scrambles down and away from the gun, not bothering to even try setting the off-kilter thing to automatic fire. Instead, he bolts toward Evac; Makeshift's finished with the computer core and Firebolt must be done with the databases. The defenders bought them the time they needed, now the defenders need to retreat. The building lurches, shudders, under missile strikes and he staggers to a stop near the big 'copter.
"We should go, too!" A bit obvious, but hopefully, Evac can forgive Holi that. He casts a worried glance at the hole down which Long Haul vanished; they shouldn't leave him, but should they wait? Follow? Either of the latter options means they could get caught if the building goes. When the building goes. Long Haul is big (well, big to Holi) and he's a strong bot. He must think he'll be all right. But Holi can't stand the thought of leaving a fellow Autobot, much less like this. But, again…. The young Micromaster makes a consternated sound as he tries to to justify either course of action. The building rocking to the continued assault jars him to a decision. "We can take cover," he advises – he hopes, anyway, but Evac is rather large, "and keep an eye out for Long Haul!" And escort the Constructibot away when he exits the building.
They'll all get out safely somehow. Holi has to make sure of it.

"Long Haul told us to get out of here, kid," Evac says. "He knows the risks."
Much as he hated to leave a man behind, it was what needed to be done in order to keep the two of them alive. "Hang on, this is gonna be rough."
Grabbing Holi, he tosses the miniature Autobot up into the area, to much flailing on Holi's part. It's a good toss, plenty of height and some horizontal distance. Unfortunately, it's rather necessary. Evac leaps off the building himself, transforming in the slow, deliberate way that he does. In perfect timing, he opens his cockpit's right hand door in order to let Holi fall into him. It might be a tight fit, but Holi's also about the only one who could fit.
Instantly, once he's certain his passenger is safe, he pushes forward, firing his chain-gun and auto-cannons, trying to fill the air with firepower and clear them a space.
"Hang on, this is gonna be a bumpy ride!"

When Skyblast-3 goes spinning out, Slingshot-3 follows him. Screw the rest of the attack, they've got enough jets to handle it.

Skystrike makes to follow Duskwing and Long Haul but the sound of a helicopter and the accompanying rounds of gunfire drag her attention away from the two. She gets out of the way of any blasts, being nicked a few times in the process, before transforming and sending rounds of laser after them. It kept her attention long enough for Long Haul to disappear under roof by the time she turned back.
“Brilliant.” Skystrike was used to traversing through unstable buildings, and she’d do it if she had to here, but they have time before the building collapsed? Was it worth it?
Probably not.
The seeker transforms again and goes to chase after the Autobot heli instead. They’d get the chance to retrieve Long Haul if he either gets trapped under the building or once he comes out of the building. Until then, there were other Autobots to chase without the potential collapse of a building overhead to worry about.

The F-15 cackles to himself. "They're abandoning their stations! Destroy the cowards!" As Evac riddles the air with ballistics, Starscream returns fire with lasers, catching a few stray shots on his hull for his troubles.

Duskwing reeled back, stunned, from Long Haul's punch to the face. By the time he recovered, the Constructibot was gone. Duskwing scowled at the hole near his feet; his optics widened as the floor shuddered and seemed to settle slightly.
Veteran of more than one battle with tunnel-loving, ambush-happy Autobots that he was, Duskwing had a very bad feeling about that.
"SLAGGIT! The buildin's about to go!" Duskwing yelled as he leaped into the sky. "Move your tails, boys! Last one out's a Wrecker pancake!"
He transformed in mid-flight--Primus, he loved these new lifters!--and flew away, looking for targets a bit further way. Booby-trapped collapsing Autobot strongholds had a nasty habit of exploding violently just when you thought they were dead and it was safe.
