With a deafening cacophony, the Autobase continues it's collapse, falling first on the side hit hardest by Decepticon fire, then pulling the rest down behind it. The recently constructed weapons mounts topple off of the roof, only to crash into the ground below, shattering themselves against the metal streets and the streets against their massive selves. Metal shrieks as it is bent and ripped and rent under its own weight, and it is several minutes before the collapse completes and noise returns to a more normal level.
Well. Looks like somebody's going to have to dig Thundercracker out of the basement, after all.
OOC: Holi? Evac? Are you guys still in this thread? Those last posts of yours are unclear.

Holi has reached a point in his life where he's grown used to being caught in mid-air, usually as part of a dramatic last-second rescue. Being picked up and thrown as part of the affair, not so much. It's a minor miracle he isn't hit by one of the many wild shots flying through the air as he wheels and tumbles, getting a very unique view of the city streets and the crumbling Autobase. It's gone all too soon with the chop of rotor blades and a large orange and white helicopter swinging into view just in time for Holi to fall through the open starboard door.
It isn't a pretty landing he makes in the cockpit, nor a comfortable one, but he's in and Evac's moving even before the door is shut. An apology for whatever instrumentation he might have damaged with some errant limb is on Holi's lips, then he thinks better of it. There'll be time for apologies later.
"Roger!" he says instead and hurries to wedge himself into a seat – snug fit, that, even as compact as the young captain is – and negotiate the safety harness into place. Once it latches into place with a snap that's drowned out by the roar of Evac's gunfire, Holi hunkers down, his face ever so slightly blanched.
Everything's going wrong.
OOC: Skippable. Will be out of thread whenever Evac takes leave.

It's gone wrong, horribly, horribly wrong, and Evac's gone wading into a firestorm. His own shots aren't proving particularly effective, and the lasers and other attacks that do strike him are. This isn't the first time on this world he's been shot to hell and back, but as he feels one particular blast punch close to his fuel tanks, he can't help but wonder if this won't be more or less his last.
If he can get medical help in time, he should make it.
With one finally spray of bullets and missiles, he pushes through the enemy formations and toward relative safety.

The Helicopter is gone, the buildings have pretty much collapsed, it was high time to find somewhere else to make herself useful. Like, oh, looking for Thundercracker somewhere would be a start. If he was still alive.
Skystrike lazily circled the area before taking off, idly wondering where was the most likely place for the Autobots to keep their prisoners.
OOC: Skystrike outta the thread.

It looks as if everyone else has left, Starscream only offers a handful of blasts at the departing chopper.
Given how many Autobots the alternate Rodimus Prime has claimed to have downed, he decides to check up on him. The F-15 takes off, leaving the building to crumble around him.
