Ironfire almost jumps off after the Dinobot, starting to shout. But, she immedietly cuts herself off. This is an angry Dinobot. If she's anything like the Dinobots Ironfire knows, that means she's rather dangerous to be around. And so, Ironfire remains safely aboard this here Optimus Prime.
This sure is a strange situation with this Prime. One would have expected he'd be giving orders, not taking them from Kup. Between that and the altnate mode, it's clearly not her Prime. At least, not from any time she knew him. Really, though, a young Optimus Prime is no stranger than some of the other things here, like the plantformer and the evil Autobots (without goatees or other such standard differences, no less!). And so, Ironfire takes this mostly in stride, and continue to treat this Prime no differently from any other Autobot.
"At least you didn't have to see it happen... Tell you what, when we've got one set up again, how about we go get a drink or two? My treat."
OOC: I too am fine with whatever happens.

"All right, good to hear, good to hear, lad," Kup answers Optimus. "Once we get settled, we'll see about getting you the full story." As much as Kup loves telling stories, there are things Optimus really doesn't need to hear in the middle of a battle, such as, for example, that the reason this planet is abandoned is because a giant planet-eating monster wiped out its inhabited sister-planet before the Transformers arrived. Tidbits like that tend to distract and distress younger Transformers. Or, well, any Transformer with a shred of decency. "We'll probably have to wait a bit longer on any drinks, though, Ironfire. I suspect we'll be on rations for at least a while after this."
Then they turn a corner and find themselves face to face with the charred remains of Grimlock, burned virtually beyond recognition, apparently from the inside out. There is no hint of his sword. A little further down the street are the crushed remnants of the evil Rodimus's trailer, including his two back wheels.
Kup doesn't swear at the sight of Grimlock. Having witnessed Slag's condition prepared him for it. Instead, he observes, "Well, that's good news. Grimlock managed to take out his trailer. His vehicle mode only has two wheels without it - it'll give our Rodimus a speed advantage." He even radios the message to their Rodimus.
"Not sure if I've got enough room to carry him and Slag. Weight isn't an issue, but size is. Ironfire, do you think you can get him on the back of Optimus on your own?"

Optimus has certainly steeled himself for whatever is next to be seen, which is for the best when it comes to the arrival of Grimlock. However, he does react when Kup calls him Grimlock. Didn't Bambi say that was one of her fellow Dinobots? Hmm.
He's grateful for the drinks, or at least the offer of it, since Kup's remarks have made the reality of such an offer unlikely. He doesn't really answer, feeling uncomfortable making small talk.
"I think we can manage if we strap this one up. Assuming Ironfire doesn't mind, that is." Charred Dinobots make pretty grim passengers, after all.

Kup is quite right, of course. She doesn't point out that she mentioned it being once they had things set up; that could be quite a while indeed. If they ever managed to recover.
Ah, but such thoughts are far too grim. Of course they'll recover. They're the good guys! She wishes this Prime would be a bit more talkative. That'd help them both through this.
Speaking of grim, there lies Grimlock. Even after Slag, Ironfire is barely prepared for the destruction wrought by the Dark Prime. "I should be able to, sir." She hops off to get onto precisely that task. It is not a fun task, but it is a doable one.

"Take a look around for Airazor, too. She went down somewhere in this area. Once you find her, you can go ahead and tuck her in next to Slag."1
Once Ironfire is done, Kup declares, "All right! Time to head towards the escape routes." He backs up a little, then turns around, leaving the wreckage of the dark Prime's trailer behind him. "Ironfire knows the way, if we get seperated," he observes, "not that you should have any problem keeping up." And with that, he leads the way to the nearest retreat route.
OOC: Moving to the Autobot Triage and Evacuation thread, at least for the moment.
1 Had to edit this in because I forgot about Airazor. If Ironfire is okay with it, I'd like to just assume she finds her, puts her in, and they all move off. No need to drag this out.

Optimus waits for Airrazor to get loaded up, wincing slightly at being called 'sir'. Even the people he's in charge of never called him that. Obviously he's got a lot of new acquaintances to make, dealing with them like he is isn't what he had in mind.
Optimus swallows the feeling of worthlessness that has been building up inside him. He's travelled so far, and in combat all he is useful for is to carry the near-offline. Some hero he is.
He keeps up with Kup easily, despite his heavy load, following him as he takes off.

Ironfire gets Airazor loaded, and their off again. She watches where they're going, ready to give directions if needed. Not much to do now but wait.
