Optimus is floored. Knocking someone out with a single strike? Wow. "That.. that was some punch!" He approaches the motionless body with caution as he frees his grapple from it. He's not been as close as Bambi when the Decepticon was a police car, he doesn't know there's anyone inside him somewhere.
Optimus transforms again. "You want him loaded up?" Either that or they're leaving the Decepticon there and Bambi can continue catching a lift. Either way, Optimus has no doubt that they're going to be out of there as quickly as they can.

Bambi really doesn't want Barricade to fall on her when Rodimus Prime knocks him out, so she quickly jumps off him and scurries off. Note to self: do not pick a fight with Rodimus Prime unless in possession of an excess of munitions.
Bambi scratches her head, back behind her crest, and she asks, ever insatiably curious, "Him copper look different. Rodimus Prime look different, too, but less different than copper. Why?"
It's okay if they don't have an answer, but she has to ask, just in case. She half-expects some sarcasm from the flaming one.

"Can't," Prime answers Prime, tone grim. "We've got to keep the space available for casualties." Because it sounds like there's going to be a lot.
It looks like that punch may have been fatal, but Rodimus isn't familiar enough with this build type to be sure, and there's too much going on to learn on-the-spot. He turns away and dives into a transformation, stating, "My alternate needs to be dealt with. Airazor didn't report him, which means he back over in this sector of the town. Bambi, we need to get moving again, if you'll hop back on Optimus. We don't actually understand why that particular reality seems as different as it is. It just is. They've got a lot of simularities, too, but this isn't the time to play compare-and-contrast."

Similarities and differences. That's what the game is about, yes?
And now one very glaring similar-but-different individual is in Mirage's sights. Mirage lets a volley fly at the blue-opticed Prime just as the Prime dives into his transformation. Hrm. Perhaps he will still score some hits.
Mirage shifts position quickly and pops off a few more shots as he does, not really aiming for anyone in particular as he considers the other individual of note. He radios his own Prime, deciding this waas not something that needed to be blurted across broadband at the moment.
//Your alternate just took down Barricade. Hard.//
//And they have two new arrivals since my scouting run. One that looks like the bastard child of Grimlock and that mechadragon, and another that looks like like they left Optimus Prime in the dryer for one too many spin cycles.//
Mirage is actually going to follow along and see if he can get another shot on Rodimus. However, he is very, very, skippable.

Bambi is inquisitive, but it's not exactly appropriate now. However once she hops on Optimus, he takes off after Rodimus.
As he starts off, he notices some dirt get kicked up on the ground from behind Rodimus. This is a battle, it's too much to hope that was some random bolt being thrown.
"So where is your, uh, alternate self?" He asks with sincere curiosity. However, quietly, he radios Rodimus.
//Rodimus, I think someone is trying to shoot you.// Optimus offers some rough idea of the direction the attacker might be, based on the dirt kicked up and the location of Rodimus.
Optimus regrets he cannot supply Bambi this information, but if he tips off the assailant by saying it aloud then they'd just be in more trouble.

Well, excuse Bambi for not being an Academy graduate washout!
She's surprisingly unmoved by all the carnage of the copper's defeat and the shots fired at Rodimus Prime. They aren't being fired at her, after all, and even if they were being fired at her, she'd simply be annoyed and angry.
The little predator, however, does let her head swivel, tracking in the direction of where she heard the shots fired. Dimming her optics, she tries to ignore the scent of semi-truck and Winnebago exhaust and the ozone of lasers and the tang of gunpowder, trying to swift through the wafting maelstrom of scents and pick out the particular scent that shot those darts. There, there is a thin thread of high octane fuel.
Her optics brighten to normal levels, and she comments to Optimus Prime over the radio, proving that she does know how to use it, //Me can smell hunter. Me could find him, maybe.//
The most interesting kind of prey is the prey that bites back.

The shots are fired as Rodimus dives into his transformation, and before he's finished with it one of the shots aimed for him enters the back of his head, misses his brain module (easy enough, given how small a brain module is), and exits his optic. A pained 'argh' accompanies the remainder of the end of his transform, though it is drowned out by the roar of his engine.
With Bambi in place, he guns his engine and is away, giving no further hint of the injury, though he's now disabled in one robot-mode optic. His driving is erratic, and he swerves back and forth over the road, though he never drifts near enough to risk running in with the other Prime.
"This way," he answers Optimus's question. "We're already close." Though not, Rodimus worries, as close as Grimlock. "We should be passing Ironfire first, though, and should meet up with Kup." Kup's good at dealing with both baby Primes and Dinobots. If Rodimus has to send these two to the evacuation routes without him, he can think of no better guide than Kup.
//I noticed,// he adds over the radio. //Try to keep your driving slightly erratic, like mine. It'll make you a harder target.//
He can't hear Bambi's comment, sadly. He would take a moment to try to bring down the sniper if he knew for sure where they were, but in the face of the uncertainty, he just keeps driving.
OOC: We will be moving to Whirly-bird, but I'd prefer to do it after the 'Cons leave the thread, if that's all right. Once the 'Cons leave and Kup joins, though, whoever's up is free to post-over.

The initiative of Optimus and Bambi has already slowed down Rodimus once. Optimus opens a radio channel to both of them, now that he has both their frequencies.
//Bambi, I'm about to drive a bit erratic. Make sure you've got a good grip.// And with that, he mimics the other Prime's own driving style. //Rodimus, Bambi's told me that she can track down the shooter. You know the score here, it's your call. What do you say?//

Rodimus Prime can take a shot through the head. Impressive. Hopefully he won't go lazy and amoral. That happens sometimes.
Bambi's idea of 'a good grip' is to dig her claws in, ever so slightly. She argues, //Him sniper not going to stop unless stopped.//
She turns back, again sniffing the wind, The scent is getting fainter, and she's getting antsy.

//Negative,// Rodimus answers Optimus. //Right now I'm two steps behind my alternate. I can't risk a slow-down, and we can't afford to split up. Besides, you two don't know the escape routes, so we need to meet up with one of the others.//
Just in case Rodimus isn't there when it's time to go. He's not suicidal, but he needs to at least get close to the other Rodimus. As someone with both Matrix affinity and experience interacting with one, there's information he can gather that no one else can, information that could prove essential in planning a way to defeat the dark Prime.
And it's with those thoughts that Rodimus drives right out of the thread and right into the Vast, Predatory Whirly-Bird thread.

A soft click comes from the interior of Barricade's chest as Frenzy undoes a catch. The tiny Transformer squirms his way out of his partner's chest, in a manner not at all reminiscent of a xenomorph bursting from someone's chest.
He perches on Barricade's chest, head darting around as he checked for enemies or other sudden bad surprises. Nothing. Nada. Diddly-squat.
Better get Barricade up and running before that changes.
Muttering to himself, Frenzy extends a data-tap and shoves it into a connector below Barricade's eyes. Force a reboot...

Pain. That's the first sensation that registers, pain. The dull, greater pains of the blow which felled him, and the sharper, thinner pain of that familiar data-tap in a facial port, almost lost in the overall crushing ache that swamps his processor.
If Frenzy has crept out of hiding and is stabbing him conscious once again, then the Autobots must have fled. Barricade groans, optics flickering faintly as his systems slowly run diagnostics and checks in the reboot cycle.
"Stu-pid 'bots..." It's more than half static as his vocal processors warm back up, but Frenzy has deciphered even less intelligible from the Saleen before. "Soft. Weak. I live."

"Busy," Frenzy corrects. "Busy-busy 'bots. Few seconds means a life or a death. You or maybe one of theirs."
He disconnects from Barricade with a twist of his wrist, then gently ran his fingertips over the bashed in portion of his partner's face. Clicking in concern, he slips fingertips in to flick off pain sensors.

Barricade will never do something so weak and obvious as verbally thanking his partner for that cessation of that throbbing ache that cascades through his systems from the damage, but the so-subtle shift of the purr of his engine, and the carefull cradle of his hand under Frenzy as he slowly levers himself upright is a shout enough from the guarded infiltrator.
"Hn. Guess so. Status?" Just how long has he been out? His gyros complain as he stumbles to his feet to head for cover before one of those pathetic Autobots happens upon them and tries to get lucky.

"Battle's ending." Frenzy nestles in the cup of Barricade's hand for a brief moment, fingers clicking against metal. "Autobot base fall down, go boom. Mopping up time."
