Obviously Skystrike understood. Mostly because she was a cynic who’d spent the last few million years with several manic depressive weirdos who’d somehow not managed to kill themselves through everything. That, and young!Skystrike was a bit of a Goth but she’d never admit that.
Dusting her hands off after successfully (well, minus the arm) turning Thundercracker over, she glanced up at Dead End and was about to say something when Thundercracker’s voice piped up. The berkut looked down. Huh. Hello there. It was a wonder how the F-15 still managed to be conscious when the dead people were in better condition than he was.
“Dead people s' what.” Skystrike deadpanned in answer as she casually picked up the other jet’s disconnected arm. "Oh, and we feel glad to have you back in the land of the living too, Thundercracker." She flicked the lifeless limb, watching with somewhat morbid fascination as the limb was flailed about at unnatural angles. Cool. Pity she couldn’t keep it to scare Fleetwind with.
“All that digging was completely worth it just to hear your sonorous voice again.” Honestly, the only reason why she wanted to find was because Thundercracker, despite all his failures, was still stupidly useful. He was a noisy and cooperative living shield and Skystrike really couldn’t ask for more in a mech like him. Of course, there might be some Hook pestering to do to get him fixed in the near future.

With Thundercracker revealed, Shortround heads over and gets about digging up the other leg. However, then curiosity takes him, after he carries the severed limb over to its owner. What random mechanical stuff would be located in the other piles Dead End mentioned? His leg fans start up, and he floats over to one of the other piles and begins digging.
After a bit, he finds something. Something awfully familiar. A head of a certain long dead Decepticon conehead. "... Great. Thrust's head" Shortround said, sighing and bringing the head over to rest with the other corpses.

Damn it, Wildrider was too busy goofing somewhere between this thread and Deconstruction. And in that time, everyone found Thundercracker. Time to go look useful.
Transforming into robot mode again, he raced towards the gathering, only to see that they got him. "Oh great, we've got him. We can go home now."

A wounded Black Widow makes it's way over to the others, helping to look for Wildrider.
"Scourge wanted me to assist you guys, and..." The Widow stops and stares at what they've uncovered. "...Is that Optimus Prime?"

"Someone forgot to send the rest of the Constructicons to this world, so we had to move the building by hand," Dead End replied drily as he knelt beside Thundercracker. A thin coat of dust from the destroyed building covered and dulled his normally gleaming finish.
Jets were far from his area of knowledge, but he did know something about basic mechanics. Dead End looked over Thundercracker's damages for obvious unsealed leaks, shorts and other problems that needed immediate attention.
At Shortround's exclamation, Dead End turned his visored gaze toward the hover-former. "Someone you knew?"
"Ah, there you are, Wildrider! How nice of you to come assist." After all the work was done... "We will need to carry Thundercracker to Hook's repair station once I'm sure he's stable." No doubt something will pull loose on the way and he'll expire anyway.
"It certainly is an Optimus Prime," Dead End replied to Blackarachnia. "It looks like the one I'm familiar with. You are familiar with him?"

"Miss me that much, did you?" asks Thundercracker sarcastically, arching an optic ridge at Skystrike. Yes, he's guessing she wasn't serious with that comment. They aren't exactly close, after all...
Then he catches parts of the conversation, and despite every sensor in his body singing with pain he lifts his head with an incredulous look. "Thrust? And Optimus Prime? I didn't even know Thrust made it here... ow." He lowers his head again, face contorted in agony. "That was stupid."

“Of course.” Skystrike is more intrigued by Thundercracker’s arm than Thundercracker but she does have the grace to look down at him when she answers. Was she serious? Most likely not. While Skystrike was certainly prone to being tolerant of her build kin’s general idiocy, she rarely ever develops affection for them. Thundercracker was currently in the ‘seekers who are useful enough not to be left to die, if possible’ category, key words being ‘if possible’.
Shortround announcing that he’d found Thrust draws the berkut’s attention for a few seconds, but the head in his claws, while certainly cone-headed, was not a familiar red. Other Thrust then. Of course, it had to be another Thrust if Shortround had recognized him. Skystrike glances briefly at Wildrider and Blackarachnia when they arrive, but pays them little heed otherwise and leaves Dead End to deal with them as she crouches down beside Thundercracker.
“Not our Thrust. Not sure if it’s our Optimus either.” She tells him, setting his arm down and out of the way for someone else to carry. There was faintly amused undertone to her voice at Thundercracker’s pain, but Skystrike quickly quashed that as she moved to place her arms under his wings and waist, announcing, “I’m taking his torso!” over her shoulder vents.

"Yeah, he was my universe's Thrust. Real annoying general who ended up serving Unicron for... Some reason. I don't really know why" Shortround explained, with a shrug. "He was friends with Tidal Wave and he was from Demolisher's time. Maybe he knows more"
Shortround sent a message off on the broadband, and then heads over to Thundercracker, picking up the earlier discarded leg. Before walking off, he takes one last look at Optimus.
"... Y'know, your universe's Optimus Prime is much smaller than mine" he says, looking at the corpse. "And... Looks to have less weaponry. Thankfully"

Wildrider shrugs. "Hey, happy to help." He just hangs about until Dead End has something useful. He idly looks about, until someone says Optimus Prime, when he finally stares at the corpse of the once-Autobot Leader. "Huh. How 'bout that."

"Well, yes." Blackarachnia says, unfolding back into robot mode. "Save for the Spark thing, we're pretty similar."
And then Thundercracker mentions Thrust. Not a name that Blackarachnia's familiar with from her history files, and anyway, she's more aware of the Vehicon of the same name. She instinctively draws her weapon, just in case she's right, but then relaxes as she discovers the Thrust in question is the corpse next to the others.
She sighs audibly at the multiple people who seem to only broadcast their own ignorance. "If you don't know which specific Optimus it is, open his chest and see if he has a Spark chamber or not. That's a start." She walked over to the Prime to do just that. She's probably going to need some help.

Dead End looked up sharply, staring at the hover-former. "Shortround, abort. Starscream has new orders for you. Give me that leg, I'll see that it gets to Repair along with Thundercracker. You are to load up the remains of Optimus Prime--after Blackarachnia has performed her quick check--Wildrider, give her a hand with that, then help Skystrike carry Thundercracker."
Dead End's tone of voice suggested that he had no idea why he was suddenly the guy giving orders. He continued, "As I said, load up Optimus Prime there and take him directly to Starscream. I advise against any stops along the way; Starscream will not be happy if his present is opened by, say, Shockwave or the other Perceptor."
Dead End had another radio transmission to make...

Thundercracker supposes he shouldn't be TOO surprised -- after all, they did find a second Thundercracker corpse in the mines. Wait... that was the first Thundercracker to turn up. Technically, he's the second. Interesting, that...
He hisses slightly in pain as Skystrike slides her arms beneath him. Otherwise he just lets the others work on hauling him and his pieces out. There's not a lot he can do, anyhow, save hold still and let Skystrike do her job.

Well, at least Thundercracker wasn’t in half as bad a shape as Skystrike thought he’d be in. That was always a bonus, horrible pun aside. Carrying jets has always been an awkward business though, what with the wings that they had being in the way. It was even more awkward now that this particular seeker was lacking his legs, but Skystrike did her best and lifted him as gently out of the rubble as she could. It wasn’t painless but it wasn’t needlessly painful either.
Holding the other seeker close to her chest, Skystrike activated her antigravs to so that each step didn’t jar Thundercracker so badly. Then she cast a brief and rather amused look at Dead End who was apparently playing leader for the time being.
“We’ll be off to the repair station then, sir.” The seeker didn’t smile, but there was definitely an annoyingly cheerful undertone to her deep voice this time. Without waiting for a reply, she quietly turned and took off with Thundercracker in her arms.

Shortround hopefully passes Thundercracker's leg over to Dead End and nods. Of course, if Dead End doesn't accept the leg, then it'll just fall to the ground instead.
Shortround walks over next to the corpse of Optimus and looked at it. "So, um... After you do the test I'll try loading him in" Shortround says, looking down at Black Arachnia. He can't help the fact that the spider former slightly creeps him out. Oh sure, he's seen one or two beings with more legs. But they were toys.

Wildrider does just that, grunting as he tries to open up something that is designed to be opened just before Death, not after it. Somehow he manages to open the chest of Optimus Prime. What will be inside, a hollow cavity? Some candy, perhaps?
Wildrider's going Skippable.
