Thundercracker's sheepish expression is gone, and his voice is mildly defensive as he speaks. "It's not like I could have prevented this." He gestures to his royally-slagged body with his remaining arm. "And she's not my lady."
Eye-fire gets a slightly friendlier response: "I call my arm and legs pretty fraggin' vital, Eye-fire. Especially my thrusters. But nothing life-threatening's gone, if that's what you mean." He takes in Eye-fire's missing arm and weakened voice with an arched optic ridge. "Yourself?"
And then he finally turns to Skyfire, confusion screwing up his features. TC? What, have the evil Autobots taken to tagging the Decepticons with weird nicknames to differentiate them from their good counterparts? "They dropped an Autobot base on me is what they did," he tells the explorer with considerably more attitude in his voice than his enslaved mirror would ever direct at his master. "What do you care?"

"If you had the judgment your factory gave Skywarp, you wouldn't have gotten captured in the first place." Hook crosses his arm as he surveys Thundercracker's injuries. "Trauma from a building falling on your virtually aluminum armor. Tell me, does someone else have the rest of your limbs, or will I be handforging them from scrap?"
Whatever the Seeker's answer, Hook turns his attention back to Skyfire. Quickly reviewing the provided schematics, he selects the appropriate toolset for straightening Skyfire's armor into working order. "As I see must have happened to you as well."

Skyfire-3 scowled as he realized his mistake: in his horror at seeing what looked like one of his jets maimed, he'd blurted out his concern before realizing this wasn't his Thundercracker. This whole duplicate business was starting to get to him.
"I hate seeing a good jet trashed," Skyfire said with a dismissive shrug. It was the truth, just not all of the truth.
He turned his attention to Hook. "Yeah, pretty much. Your Slingshot tried to nail me with his neutron rifle, got the building behind me instead. I'd look a lot worse if he'd hit. My wing there," Skyfire pointed at the root of his left wing, which had a large hole blown out of it, weakening the wing enough that it couldn't hold its own weight any more, but had warped and drooped until it hung half-down at Skyfire's side, "took a missile hit."

"Lost my arm and gained a few new holes. Stupid glitch that designed me made the loss of this arm nearly fatal, I'm thankful that Blackout got me to help as quick as he did." Eye-Fire responds in a slightly more cheerful tone.

“I believe Wildrider is bringing the rest of him, sir.” Skystrike intones in answer to Hook’s question as she takes out a battered old datapad to read. She casts Skyfire one last suspicious look before going back to the business of keeping to herself.
OOC: Pretty much skippable.

Since Skystrike answered Hook's snarky question for him, Thundercracker doesn't say anything, though Skyfire garners an odd look. If the Autobot's thinking of getting his hooks into him as well as his mirror, he'd better think again.
He settles back and waits his turn, perhaps dropping into a light defrag if Hook takes awhile to get to him.
OOC: Skippable until it's his turn or unless disturbed.

Part of the very definition of being Hook is that Hook takes his time to do the job right. None of this rushing about to get people repaired and out of his way. None of this randomly poisoning people for the sheer joy of it. Not even any of this doing an acceptable job in a reasonable amount of time so he can be finished sooner.
Thus, it is a considerable while before the Constructicon finishes smoothing out Skyfire's armor and turns to deal with the holed wing. It is another considerable while after that for Skyfire to be fully repaired.
As soon as he is done with the repairs, Hook perches on Skyfire's chest, legs dangling over the side and a power screwdriver in one hand. //The rest of the schematics.//

Skyfire gave Skystrike an speculative glance, smiling at her suspicious glance. Not a bad looking jet. She'd go nicely with TC in his collection, if it came to that.
After some time, Hook was finished. Skystrike considered Hook's request, the rather considerable effort Hook had just put into his repairs, and his current position on Skyfire's chest with a power screwdriver in hand. Hook could turn on him as soon as he transmitted the schematics, true, and in his current position, do a great deal of damage. On the other hand, it would make no sense for Hook to kill the mech he just repaired.
Skyfire smiled at Hook. // Of course. I'm not a 'reform politician' like Kup; you make a deal with me, I keep it. Prepare for transmission, it's sizeable. //
If Hook is willing to receive the transmission, Skyfire will send the schematics for his sensor suite, then the warp drive. He intended to build a reputation with these strange Decepticons as someone who dealt reliably and had much to offer.

His optic-band dims as the schematics download into his systems, seeming an automatic power-shunt to cope with the sudden flood of data.
Looks can be deceiving.
After examining the files for any electronic warfare surprises, Hook compresses them and stores them to download onto a data stick later. He pats Skyfire's torso almost fondly before sliding off the white shuttle and shunting his power screwdriver into subspace.
"Be off and stop taking up space."
Fully expecting Skyfire to obey, Hook turns his attention to the other few patients in the field hospital.

"Right away," Skyfire said with a smirk. My, but Hook did good work. At least as good as Perceptor, without, hopefully, the little surprises. And definitely without the little games. He did, however, have some interesting quirks and habits that Skyfire filed for future reference. Intelligence just might be interested and be willing to trade a minor favor or two, sometime.
Skyfire rose to his feet and strode off after favoring everyone with a friendly wave.... though his gaze lingered on the badly-damaged Thundercracker. Hopefully Hook would repair him to his usual standard; Skyfire was looking forward to eventually having a matched set.
--- And Skyfire-3 is out-of-thread
