Wouldn't it just be ironic for Eye-Fire to blunder into the other two snipers? Unfortunately, irony has been stalking Eye-Fire lately, waiting to swoop in for the kill. And it smells blood.
Its the mono-eyed marksman's own fault really. Hearing speech, Eye-Fire quickly turned to see if it wasn't behind him while continuing to float backwards. Backwards into something metallic. A small clang rings out, thankfully small due to him being in his smallest size.
He has three options.
1) Hope really, really hard its another Decepticon.
2) Whip round and blast whatever he bumped into.
3) Hold dead still.
1) Being uncharacteristically optimistic and 2) bieng potentially fatal, Eye-Fire opts for the third.

After some time passes, a low thud is heard. This is caused by the impact of His Royal Highness, King Grimlock. His sword drawn, he waits for Fleetwind-3 and Slag to join him on the ground before stepping forward a bit. He's ready to take off again at a moment's notice, 'cause that's the plan. Drag out Big Bad Red, then run like hell. Not really Grimlock's style, but the ends justify the means.
He points his sword in the general area of Swerve, waving it back and forth. "Where Fake Rodimus at?! Me Grimlock want to tell him that him stink at making traps! Me Grimlock see through trap blindfolded!" Grimlock pauses, looking as if he's remembering lines for a moment, then taking up his confident stance again. "Me Grimlock also think Fake Rodimus big doody-head that can't fight way out of paper bag!"
Ladies and gentlemen, this is Grimlock, dumping gasoline on a fire.

A pastel yellow Seeker touches down lightly next to Grimlock, a grin as bold as sunlight plastered across his expression.
Oh, wait. Weren't they supposed to be keeping the presence of the alternate Decepticons a secret? And yet no one told him not to go!
Well, if they wanted the element of surprise, surely someone here is surprised now!
"Oh, Grimlock, I fear you do our foe injustice!" he protests. "Why, Rodimus Prime most certainly can fight his way out of a paper bag... provided, of course, that the paper bag is wet!"

Slag drops in with Grimlock, however while the Dinobot commander stays in robot mode, Slag transforms into his triceratops mode and crashes to the ground with a mighty thud.
No one can say that Slag doesn't know how to make loud entrances.
While Grimlock and Fleetwind-3 busy themselves with taunting, Slag just roars and breathes fire in a general direction away from Swerve. Sure, he's won't actually hit anyone, but they'll sure know that he's here now.

Rodimus Prime knows there's a plan.
Rodimus Prime also suspects that their alternates may have stumbled on something far more useful than what can be found here. He knows what those co-ordinates are the center of, after all.
Finally, Rodimus Prime has a temper whose flares put a star's to shame.
Out from the trees that serve as the Prime's cover comes a bolt of darklight. It passes right over Swerve as it heads for Grimlock and his party. In the wake of the blast, the Prime can be seen through a hole in the foliage, the light playing off him strangely, an expression of fury etched into his features.
Time to run.

Remember who else was hiding in the trees?
Oh, yeah. That would be Fleetwind!
The evil one!
The cowardly one!
He... stares at himself - his other self - as the duplicate lands and taunts. Taunts Rodimus Prime. Evil, dark Rodimus Prime who can twist light around himself and who knows what else!
And he's just... standing there, bold as can be.
The Seeker does not leave hiding just yet. He'll need a moment to find his jaw first.

The noisy entrance of Grimlock and Slag – both of whom seem to be more or less in control of themselves – and Fleetwind, the disciple of derring-do, has Swerve caught between a flush of relief and gratitude and the numbness of sheer horror. Maybe they think they stand a chance like this, but Swerve knows better and the thought strikes him to his very spark. They're going to get themselves killed!
Horror overcomes any joy at seeing welcome faces when that horrid light arcs overhead and Swerve lurches forward in his bonds with a pained shudder, as if to step between the attack and the Prime's challengers.
"GET AWAY!" he screams, the word half demand and half plea.
OOC: Remaining skippable.

Oh scrap it all, Dinobots? And... Fleetwind?!
Despite the fact that Starscream is pretty sure Fleetwind is nearby, he almost thinks to accuse Fleetwind of treachery... before the pastel seeker in front of him opens his mouth. Yeah, that's not 'his' Fleetwind.
As flames wash over his cover, Starscream transforms, hoping to provide further distraction to addle the simple brains of the Dinobots.
Cluster bombs are launched at Slag with the same intent as the Dinobot's own flame attack--not to damage, just disorient.

Grimlock ducks the firebolt, raising back up to hear Swerve's scream and the Prime barging their way.
Opening a radio channel to Fleet and Slag, he chuckles. //That easier than me Grimlock thought! Time to go!//
He sheaths his sword, leaping up into the air as Starscream's cluster-bombs detonate. Growling, he draws out his stunner laser, unleashing a bit of beamspam at Starscream and Rodimus. As he does this, he rises higher, then turns around to go faster. He's got the Prime hook, line, and sinker now. Time to go for a little trip.

Hmm, Starscream had opened the attack. Apparently they were to jump out of hiding now and attack the Dinobots. Oh goody. What an unpleasant and painful way to get scrapped!
On the other hand, that fragile yellow Seeker consorting with Grimlock was very unlikely to be their Fleetwind....
Dead End gunned his engine and roared out of the underbrush, headed straight for Fleetwind-3's back. He went soaring off the ground in a spectacular stunt jump, guns deploying as he sailed through the air. With a bit of luck and good timing, Dead End could crash right into the yellow jet-former and send him toppling to the ground.
If not, that's what the guns were for.

Dinobots stomp in, annoyed Evil Prime stomps out, captured Autobot wails at them and chaos was probably about to ensue on short notice. It’d sound almost like a typical battle if there weren’t mirror images everywhere. Skystrike rumbles a low tune to herself over the sound of weapon fire as she checks her shoulder guns for any potential twiggy problems. Leaves yes, but nothing that won’t burn off the moment she steps out. Good, although she’ll undoubtedly have some carbon burns to scrub off later on.
She glances up at Grimlock through the leaves and thickening smoke and ash, scowling slightly. As obvious as their trap was, the other faction’s trap was equally as blindingly clear and inevitably unavoidable. He was undoubtedly going to be chased by a furious Prime and brought into a different place to be ganged up on by other Autobots. She’d rather avoid getting the Prime’s way so she wasn’t about to go chasing that particular oversized lizard and since Dead End was already taking on the other Fleetwind....
Activating her antigravs, the seeker kicks off and erupts from her hiding place, her appearance accompanied by the loud cracking of breaking branches and the deafening rustle of disturbed leaves. The berkut’s shoulder guns snap up and she opens fire at Slag’s back legs, aiming for his joints.

OOC: I am so, so sorry, folks. I thought Flee-3's post was with my other characters, not now. I apologize profusely for the delay.
As the Stunticon goes flying towards him, Fleetwind falls forward and twists, ducking under the vehicle and coming back upright to the side. Of course, guns are for in case of dodging, and if they're fired, Fleet takes a few blasts across his canopy. However, this isn't (yet) enough to put a damper in his day as he shouts, "Nice moves, but against a less than optimal backdrop. Give me blue over green any day! So much lovelier!" And with that, he leaps into the sky, flying after Grimlock, though taking a higher path.
OOC: Out of thread. Will be starting a new one shortly. Again, I am really, really sorry.

It's not that Rodimus Prime is unaware of the fact that he's being lead away from his own trap and right into another.
He is fully aware of this. He just doesn't care.
"Don't think this encounter will go any better than our last one!" Rodimus roars after Grimlock. He takes a running start, than leaps into the air. "This time, I'll finish the job!"
If there are any who suspected that this Rodimus Prime could fly before, they now know for certain.

Slag snorts as cluster bombs fall around him and some foolish Decepticon fires at him, hitting him in the leg. Oh, how he wishes to destroy them...
Oh wait, plan. Right. Slag transforms and flies after Grimlock, and then pulls his blaster out, turning and firing randomly at the Decepticons still on the ground.
And then he notices Rodimus-3. Hmm.
OOC: Sorry bout that, but out of thread as well and moving to the other thread

And Fleetwind's...
...just been ordered to go fight himself.
He responds to Starscream over the radio, clenches his jaw, and leaps into the air after his double.
