Ironfire had just finished rolling up to Kup's position and transformed back to robot mode behind cover when the order comes. So, she throws him a nod and a "yes sir" and slips back into vehicle mode.
Assault time.
She rolls out, ready to begin firing as soon as an unfriendly appears.
---- OOC: Sorry about the time out and all. Won't happen again.

The look Bambi shoots Skyfire seems to say, 'You are food, but I think I'd get dumber if I ate you.'
She notes primly, "You misunderstand. The -raptor suffix has nothing to do with certain dinosaurs being bird-like. Rather, certain dinosaurs were thoughts to be thieves. Thus, your argument is quite faulty. Do you often make a habit of falsifying evidence, or do you just do so when you wish to show off? All birds may be dinosaurs, and all squares may be rectangles, but calling a rectangle as a square-rectangle when it is not a square is foolish. Of rather, would you prefer that I, Bambi, call you a rocketplane, which may be colloquially acceptable but doubtless does not properly account for your design?" She asides, in a slightly more civil tone, "While my alternate mode is modelled after a dinosaur related to birds, it it not actually a bird, Master Holi. Thus, I, Bambi, take umbrage to being called a bird-dinosaur."
However, Skyfire is thankfully gone, and the Demon Prime is also moving out. Perhaps Holi has a copy of Monopoly on him?

After dropping Misfire off at the Decepticon repair depot/aid station/thingie (and nowhere near Perceptor-3, per Shockwave's orders), Hellbender returns to the battlefield. Some distance away, over ridges and behind rocks, he transforms to the now-familiar worm form and burrows into the ground.
He chews relentlessly through the old friable lava and sand, always listening to events above. Soon enough, Hellbender reaches the coordinates Shockwave gave him and idles below, beneath the surface of the desert-ocean. He hears the rumble of the demonic Prime's engines, and commits the sound of it, every whine and rumble and sonic quirk of it to memory. Every engine, every Transformer sounded different; years of existence wore every part down a bit differently, every joint, every servo, every gear, every rotor, cam, driveshaft, and motor hissed and scraped and hummed and whined and rumbled just a wee bit differently from its neighbor, or from those belonging to its owner's neighbor. Sensors attuned to the subtle vibrations of rock and mineral note these very well; Hellbender knows the sound of Rodimus Prime-3 now, and can track him through the blackest abyss, so long as they both function.
Hellbender notes the others, too, and flags them by their voices, as he did the Prime. Not far away, he hears Sky-byte's vibrations as the Predacon dives through the sand, embroiled in his own battle.
Hellbender has his orders. He remains here, still, listening, waiting...

So Bambi's got her shiny metal hackles up over being called something she's not. Holi can kinda get behind that… but he's also had to get used to a hell of a lot of it. Some commanders don't care what you are or want to be called because it isn't what they think or want and nothing else matters.
"Fair enough," he says non-committally, talking around Skyfire. Then he shifts on his tires just enough to tilt toward her slightly, suspension groaning. "While we're at it, quit calling me that. I'm fine with Holi." After many long and grating years of Kid, Brat, Hey You, Child, Pet, the occasional Slave, and the much more common Plaything, he's happy – well, not happy, but something like it – just to be addressed by his name. To his face, even, not as if he isn't there. Someday, he'll get back home and he can even be called Leader again. But Master? He isn't a master of anything.
Well, yet. One of these days, somehow, he'll have Autobots and Decepticons alike begging him and every Micromaster for mercy before they die.

In the distance, an F-15 approaches the fray. It's difficult to tell who this is, or more importantly which version of the 'who' that this might be. All you can tell is that it's coming in.
Fast.

Unlike Starscream, nobody will notice the gunformer arrive on the scene, partly because he won't actually be at the crater, but far enough away so he can see everything that happens around it.
Having spotted the alternate Prime, Eye-Fire has already transformed into his rifle mode and is watching the Prime's movements closer than a deranged stalker who wants to win the Prime's heart.
Of course, any such stalkers will be disappointed when Eye-Fire makes said heart explode, but everyone has to make sacrifices. _______________________________________

//Granted.//
Skyfire-3 smiles an evil, feral smile--anyone watching him would instantly know this was anyone but the kindly Autobot Skyfire-1--and steps off into a running transform. He folds himself as he strides, briefly gerwalking before the transform completes and he roars off in pursuit of his mirror.

Rodimus continues his climb up the side of the crater, speed steady, showing no hint of slowing. The continues right up until he hits the lip of the crater. And still, he does not break.
Instead, he transforms. His trailer, still buckled and battered and in some places melted from Dinobot abuses, flips over and remains on the ledge. The gun springs up, and immediately points below, showing that though the Prime would barge into a trap, it's not without backup, even if he must provide his own.
Rodimus Prime himself, however, continues at full speed, the momentum sending him airborne for a moment. However, while its wheels that leave the ledge, when the end of the Prime's arc brings him down inside the crater, it's feet that touch down. The large robot lands heavily, keeping his arms out for balance, one foot lower than the other and both angled so as to make it easier to stay upright. Even when he lands, he still continues moving forward, sliding down the inside of the crater like a boardless surfer, a wide grin painting his expression as he searches for what's below.

There is an interesting similarity between a tank and a large animal. Namely, both are not something you want charging towards you. There is a significant difference, too. The large animal cannot hurt you until it gets to you.
Ironfire kicks into top speed. Soon, she'll again be lost in the fray of battle, focusing on the joy of destruction. Also on kick-skidplate music, like the sort blaring through her head. An observant onlooker, if not too busy avoiding tank fire, might notice her turret bouncing with the beat.

Bambi has no intention of getting used to anything here. She may give the appearance of toleration, but appearances are deceiving.
She replies quietly, voice stiff and formal, "As you wish, M... Holi."
Bambi brings her knees up against her chest, wraps her arms around her legs, and settles her chin atop her knees. She looks bored and vaguely disgusted, in a detached way.
OOC: maybe spin off to another thread, with Holi-3 and Bambi-3 watching the battle from afar?

Amongst the crags and crevices that line the side of the crater, ancient eyes glimmer as they watch Rodimus's descent.
Like his alternate, he's can certainly do things with flare, can't he?
Then that ancient gaze switches to the gun emplacement resting at the ledge. And he brought his own back-up, did he? Well, that changes things a bit, but then, what plan survives the battlefield?
From his hiding spot, Kup fires one well-placed acid glob towards the ledge right beneath the battle-wagon, intent on eroding the thing's purchase. Just one shot, and the weapon flashes into sub-space, and Kup is leaping from his hiding spot and transforming. He adjusts his course - he's not fast, but he can judge the speed Prime is descending at, and aim not where the kid is, but where he's going to be.
Acid only goes so far and isn't likely to be much against the demon Prime - but Kup can put some hellacious force behind a full-on kup-truck charge, and that's just what he aims to do here.
OOC: Will be in thread for one round. To others, feel free to pose a single attack against Rodimus-3 and then leave rotation - don't worry about sticking around a round. Also, there's been a time out, so if Starscream wants to post, he can go ahead and do so.

Eye-Fire is forced to drastically change his plans when he sees what appears to be Kup fire a blob of something at the Prime and then start charging him down. He'd plan to wait until the monster was distracted with something and then take his shot, but he fears he might loose track of the Prime in a melee.
Eye-Fire takes aim, and without anything else to go on aims for where the Prime's lasercore should be. He does the transformer equivalent of taking a deep breath, and sends a fires a purple bolt of energy at the Prime.
He's going to be surprised, to say the least, if he strikes true and the Prime doesn't fall over dead.

Maybe Holi's just taken too many knocks to the head over the years, but he's starting to think Bambi's at least talking to him like he ranks higher on the ladder than "walking radio". Which is bizarre on a whole new level. Maybe remembering that she can paste him at her leisure is paying off.
Or maybe she's just trying to lull him into a sense of comfort before she makes her move. She is a Dinobot, after all.
And now… things are starting to heat up. This is one of those times Holi is overjoyed for his low profile.
OOC: Sorry about the time-out. Lost track of who was up where and how; big thread is big. Bambi, I'm good with spinning off to a different thread.

How does one hide a white car in a black desert? Bury it in rocks.
How does a car burried in rocks escape? By having all the common sense of a two-by-four.
Rockets also help.
Runamuck bursts rather dramatically from his hiding place high up the rim of the crater, throwing a shower of gravel into the air and charring his paint job. He peels across the surface, popping his armor into secondary mode and preparing to fire at the demon Prime, until he sees a beat-up truck (way too dirty to be the one he's used to) charging.
With a grunt, Runamuck fishtails around, tires spinning for traction, then tears up the crater for the gun emplacement left behind. The Prime alone is bad enough without another gun shooting at them. The Battlecharger lets loose a pair of rockets, aiming for the acid-splashed rock under the emplacement, then zips past it, watching for it to take aim at him and turn him into monochromatic metal flakes.
Slag, he's been hanging around Dead End too much.
Now if only he'd stopped to think about the possibility of the Prime having other reinforcements....
OOC: Still in thread, but out of rotation.

The ledge beneath the gun emplacement is harried first by acid, then by rockets. The battle-wagon starts to tip forward, it's far end coming off the ground as its front end dips and it begins to slide down. With a mental command, Rodimus orders it to begin firing on the opposite wall, letting the recoil of the blasts try to force the thing back upright.1 This only seems to be delaying the inevitable, however.
Kup proves troublesome to deal with. The method of Prime's descent makes it difficult for him to control speed and direction. Still, before the elder would impact him, still on the crater walls, he leaps forward, landing on his rear and then laying back. Still sliding, he snags the kup's underside, just at the edge of his frame, and then sits back up and twists, throwing the truck with considerable force against the crater side and continuing his own way now in a sitting position. Perhaps oddly, Rodimus doesn't use near enough force to make his counter-attack deadly, but it should take the veteran out of the battle for at least awhile.
It's because the Prime is sitting that he's able to take the shot... right through the chest... directly through his laser core...
...Except that this Rodimus Prime has neither spark nor laser core. He has a brain module, and not only is that in his head, but unless one were extremely lucky, they'd have to know exactly where in his head to aim properly. The strike is true - in fact, the shot then goes into his right leg, going clean through... but though Rodimus is injured, he is far from dead. He quickly takes stock of what Autobots he knows to be here, but Synapse's call confirms his suspicions: treachery. Shockwave attempts to disavow the other's actions, but the Prime leaves his orders stand - the alliance ends here.
It seems to get darker in the area around the Prime.
OOC: Starscream skipped with his permission; he'll be posing back in when he has time. As a note, Bambi-3 and Holi-3 have moved to a separate thread.
1 Players may feel free to claim to have been tucked away in hiding along the wall currently being blasted.
