Kup pushes himself up out of the pit and gets his right knee on the ground proper.
"I said 'as long as,'" he points out. He's come to be not so bothered by the idea of other realities going that route - after all, that can't be his future. You need a Spark for that nonsense! "Until another reality that ends like yours shows up, the others are going to assume its unique. We may not know if it's the only one, but we don't know it isn't, either."
His conversation is almost casual as he looks up towards the lip of the crater. The elder allows himself a scowl for a moment, then hides it away. From the sounds of things, everything is now in full swing - those minutes the pit and Botanica's interference have cost him may very well cost them the battle. What he needs...
... is an eye in the sky.

Ah, but do you need a Spark? Spark, lasercore, brain module, or kumquat, the Prime can sense a lifeforce, so there is something within each, regardless of reality, that is the same. Who is to say that one such as Kup could not be changed as well?
Kup is free, though, and now a greater threat, even preoccupied with the battle raging nearby. She crouches down low, watching, waiting, fighting...fighting for some semblance of balance and sanity. Fighting and loosing.
"We do not know, but we do not not know either," she mutters, before diving below ground. If she stays, she will fight, and if she fights she will lose. Loosing could mean dying, and so she runs instead.
Out of thread.

Kup watches Botanica dive out of sight without a word, then smirks faintly. He knew enough to know that one could be dangerous if not handled carefully - another approach might have lead to him stuck down in the pit.
Stick that in your 'warrior-born', Kup thinks contempteously as he remembers how she had described his alternate.
Of course, if this politician doesn't get to warring, he's liable to end up on the receiving end of a Prime's wrath. He summons his musket and climbs towards the lip of the crater - at this point, the thick of things are a bit too thick to dive into, but a bit of acid from the edges might help.
It does occur to Kup that this could be his opportunity to be free of the alternate Prime, but he knows he could no more do that then he could fire on the 'good' Rodimus. At the end of the day, Kup is still a weak old mech, and deep down he knows, he won't be able to bring himself to fire on someone wearing Rodimus's face.
