And after Springer grabs the decon kit, he cuts a look vaguely in Xaaron's direction over the zombie comment. He wasn't there! He wasn't in Perceptor's and Springer's heads to know just how rattling that was! Like he--
And then Perceptor explodes at Xaaron, and Springer recoils a bit, fumbling the kit he was holding and dropping it in the floor. That...that is not a very Perceptory thing, the being mad. That does not happen. If that had happened in the swamp, things might not have taken as long as they did to get better!
Still, though. Rageceptor is scary. And a tank. Perceptor is a tank? That doesn't sound right.

"Perceptor," Emirate Xaaron replies patiently to the outburst, "One of the zombies that tried to kill me is right here, and I'm keeping a lid on it." Mostly because he owes said zombie more than he'll ever be able to repay; partially because Emirate Xaaron doesn't scare easily in the first place. "Listen to the dead man and calm down. Impactor, don't break the medic who is going to be working on you. It's poor form. I can handle myself if he decides he wants to break his hand on my face like Swerve."
His free hand smacks into his forehead when Springer gets springy and jumps back. Argh!
"...just, stop falling all over yourself and give me a kit before someone really goes nuclear."

"I. Am not. You," Perceptor grates out, glaring around Impactor at Xaaron. "We have, in fact, discussed on several occassions about your disappointment in my decisions and priorities. If you will recall."
Like repairing Decepticons, and speaking with Shockwave, and such. And considering that he didn't drop Impactor and run screaming from the room, Perceptor thinks he's doing pretty darned good.
As for his armor... "I am a scientist. I do not require thick armor," he replies a bit more graciously to Impactor.

Impactor watches Springer the Wrecker jump and recoil against the wall like a frightened empty in the face of an angry Perceptor. A Perceptor who immediately after admits to not even needing thick armor. And Springer, the Wrecker, is afraid of this?
The zombie groans. It's not a 'I want brains' sort of moan. It's just a, 'What sort of upside down and backwards place is this?' sort of moan.
"Yooour work-k-king witthhh Em'rite Xaaron. You need thick-k-k-k armor," he observes.
OOC: Skip Long Haul, who is now quietly cleaning folks up in the background.

Well, hang out with someone you know to generally be soft-spoken and see how you react when they flip their crap like that!
Either way, now Springer is caught up in getting his arms decon'd, then helping Long Haul out with the others.

There are so many things that Emirate Xaaron could say to Perceptor, who is so woefully naive sometimes.
Then Emirate Xaaron's facade slips, and he looks guilty as Hell when Impactor observes that Perceptor needs better armour if he's going to work with Emirate Xaaron. Feeling like he's been punched not in the face but socked in the gut, the chatty orator falls speechless and silent.
He's going to be spending a lot of time in the medical ward, when he doesn't have duty shifts to pull, planning to do, or random subordinates to bail out of trouble. Emirate Xaaron's first duty is ever to his people, but it doesn't stop with the living.
OOC: It is over, finished? Is this the end of the road?

Yes, Perceptor is woefully naive, which is probably a significant portion of the reason that Pz-Zazz offends his sensibilities so. It is not a place where the naive survive long, and Perceptor is having quite a few of his sunnier suppositions slowly suffocated on the unhealthy world.
"I shall take that under advisement," he remarks quietly to Impactor as he, too, submits to the decon process before he assists with transporting Impactor to Medical.
