//Ugh, easy for you to say! You actually know how to aim!// Emirate Xaaron protests.
And then Guzzle blasts Catilla, and the lion goes limp... and refuses to get his jaws off Emirate Xaaron, even while dead.
Emirate Xaaron groans and transforms, a lot more slowly - ugh, his cog is killing him - and brings his hands down to force those jaws open. "Yes, I suppose that is. So. Throw the body down, exit via the next set of vents down there," he points, "and escape in the confusion."
He hefts up Catilla, getting ready to make the throw.

//Need lessons? Heh. I'd offer my help, but I'm a soldier, not a sniper. No patience, whatsoever.//
Guzzle transforms back to robot mode, a bit disappointed that the Con went down after one of his weakest blasts, but he has to admire the grip that cat has. The Wrecker takes out the Judge and pokes the dead kitty with it, making sure it's not playing possum, absentmindedly nodding before stepping away, satisfied that this feline had wasted all his 9 lives no, not even Guzzle is that corny. "Ready when you are, sir."

//I have a tutor, actually,// Emirate Xaaron answers absently. He really ought to get back to those lessons, he supposes.
Catilla is kind of a pussy. Went down from one sword stroke by Bludgeon through the Pretender shell. What good is Pretender armour if it doesn't do anything?
Emirate Xaaron flings Ctailla, breaking down the grate, and he makes a break down towards that other set of vents. Outside, there is chaos, confusion, and pain, and all of it gets worse when a body goes flying. A Ferak-type Hunter-Seeker bolts up into the now-broken vent after them, giving chase.

Guzzle wants to comment that his tutor sucks, but considering that he doesn't even know who that bot is, he wisely keeps his mouth shut.
The Wrecker gives chase instantly, running after the Emirate as fast as he can, not even stopping when he hears a 'thud' that tells him someone jumped into the vents. Oh no, he just turns his upper body and fires with his gun, aiming for the head while he keeps following the Emirate.

Perceptor is a very patient teacher who knows all the theoretics of sharpshooting and who is able to demonstrably put them into practice! Seriously, if there's a Transformer with better aim than Perceptor, we may have to call shenanigans. He can blast a hole in a cinder block wall 2,000 miles away with pinpoint accuracy!
It's just that the lesson was interrupted by Rodimus Prime walking in on the two of them slathered in paintballs.
The Hunter-Seeker takes the shot to the head, yes, but the blow is glancing, just raking an ugly channel along the side of his helmet. he brings up his sidearm, blasting away, and one of the shots hits Emirate Xaaron in the back. Emirate Xaaron cries out in pain and staggers for a moment before gritting his robo-teeth and keeping running. Their exit is almost there...

Well, at least that explains how his own Perceptor was suddenly so good at sniping. Apparently the nerds are the best sharp shooters, who would have guessed that?
Guzzle's optics go wide as he sees Xaaron being hit and stumbling, but he does not wait for the Emirate to get back up to his feet. Oh no, he growls as he turns around, murder in his optics, before yelling violently as he runs for the Hunter-Seeker, firing the Judge like mad, aiming to cripple.

The Hunter-Seeker is crippled, going down on one knee, but that doesn't stop him from firing back - at Guzzle, since his line of sight on Emirate Xaaron is ruined by the Class 3 Ruination Tank. He snaps, "Get out of the way, you Autobot fool!"
Emirate Xaaron reaches their target jumping point, and he looks back to see Guzzle going the wrong way. He shouts, "Guzzle, get over here! Quickly!"

Guzzle grunts as he takes the hit to his armor, but it's not strong enough to make him go down. It does make him angry. "Fool!? I'm not the one with my knees shot out!" He snaps before pistol whipping the Seeker with the Judge, and he's about to have a lot more fun when he hears Xaaron call out to him. "Coming!" He yells back and executes the Decepticon at pointblank range before running after Xaaron, soon catching up with him again. "How's your back sir?"

(It's probably a sign that Emirate Xaaron messed up something when coding the simulation that a random Hunter-Seeker gave them the most trouble of anyone, aside from Trannis.)
"Fine," Emirate Xaaron grits out through clenched teeth. No, he's not fine at all, but he's going to pretend that he is and go on just as normal. Something black and viscous is oozing down his back, but he tries to ignore the tickling sensation.
Waiting to make sure that Guzzle can make it over to their jump point, Emirate Xaaron breaks open the vent. Chaos and anarchy outside, but the Decepticons' attention is more on the other vent. They'll have more company up in here if they don't move fast.

(Well, Guzzle doesn't know about that, those guards he encountered in the beginning got a good few scorchmarks on his armor.)
Guzzle eyes the seeping wound on Xaaron's back, both thinking the Emirate a fool as well as finding him a brave mech for pushing on through the pain.
While Xaaron busies himself busting open that vent, Guzzle keeps looking over his shoulder, optics narrowed as he watches for any more signs of trouble. Once Xaaron's finished the Wrecker goes through first, weapon drawn and ready as he lands on his feet, before giving the go ahead to the Emirate.

Outside of the Darkmount Fortress, Poklyhex is a gloomy, industrial, militarised place. It isn't a wasteland; the Decepticons have kept it up, but it is... depressing. To Autobots, anyway.
Emirate Xaaron lands heavily after Guzzle, stumbling a bit.
They haven't been noticed yet, but this whole city-state is crawling with Decepticons, even if they're mostly swarming the flooding Darmount fortress right now. They'll need to be careful.
Emirate Xaaron keeps to cover, as much as he can, looking for a way down. They'll be safer underground.

"...Oh, you gotta be fraggin' kidding me..." Guzzle speaks in a soft, hushed tone as he looks at the city from their vantage point. It may be a simulation, but that doesn't stop him from feeling a tingle go down his circuitry. The sight of some of the slag flowing out of Darkmount and into Polyhex makes him smile, though.
//I thought the goal of the simulation was to get out of the fortress. Xaaron...Did ya really sneak through all of THAT before I got in?// If he did, then wow, respect +100 right there! He follows the Autobot commander, blue optics keeping an eye out as he darts from cover to cover, sticking to the shadows, knowing that one and a half gold plated bots (the amount, not the height) are way to easy to spot.

"Was there not a Polyhex in your reality?" Emirate Xaaron asks, curious. This simulation run is definitely giving him some answers about Guzzle.
//Yes?//
What Emirate Xaaron doesn't know is that the Decepticons did notice him sneaking... and let him come. (This happened before with Flame.)
Emirate Xaaron does show pretty decent knowledge of using cover, though. He particularly makes use of awnings and overpasses, mindful of death from above. He knows about laying low while being hunted.

"There is, yea, old industrial zone. Was the site of some pretty heavy battles. Dead now, though, like the rest of Cybertron." Guzzle doesn't know what he regrets more; that he wasn't at those battles, or that Cybertron is a husk of a planet.
//Wow.// That IS admirable! The possibility that it was a trap escapes him though, at least for the moment. Guzzle will have to run this simulation again later, just to see if he can do the same. It's good training, after all.
Guzzle keeps up with Xaaron, following almost every move he makes, occasionally ducking lower to keep his cannon out of sight. It's starting to get on his nerves, though. Stealth missions always do.

This simulation will get harder, the second time it is run. The solid light simulation room learns, a fact that should worry its users someday.
Emirate Xaaron looks rather down at the mention of a dead Cybertron. Yes, Springer told him, but... still. Even if Primus never sat there, it saddens Emirate Xaaron to hear of a dead Cybertron.
He steps out into a lonely street, knocks on a manhole cover, and announces, "Here we are, Guzzle. We made it."
Octane steps out into the street, too, smiling wickedly, and he blows Emirate Xaaron away.
