Duskwing finally looked up from his self-imposed exile in the corner when Swindle started babbling incoherently and dashed out the door with Spy Shot. "Huh."
He replayed the last few minutes from his memory. Okay, Swindle wanted him to grab the crates marked "DELICATE"? Must be the valuable stuff. Duskwing shuffled over to the partially stacked pile of boxes and finished stacking them, then strapped them together with a carrying strap. While he worked, Duskwing pondered Swindle's sudden exit, and his random babblings.
His partner, Duskwing finally concluded, was scared of something, and had bolted for cover. Huh. Probably not a good idea to stick around, then. He glanced at the stack of boxes. Maaybe he shouldn't head straight to the warehouse with these--might be trouble waiting. He'd just take charge of the valuables until Swindle called to let him know what was up.
He carefully packed some of the boxes into his cockpit, where they were hidden behind the nearly opaque canopy, and grabbed the rest by the carrying strap, then headed out the back door. If Swindle forgot to ask about his boxes anytime soon, that wasn't Duskwing's problem.

"I did enjoy it," Spy Shot says, looking around as Swindle unlocks the warehouse. "There were plenty of neon signs."
The little camera-bot remains rather oblivious to the mess he has managed to get into. Still, he pauses at the threshold of the warehouse, wondering if he should continue to go along with this Decepticon, or if now would be a good time to return to his wanderings. Then again, he is still curious about what being a Decepticon is like and continued observation of one will probably help with that.
He chooses to jog into the warehouse.

A dromeosaurid fit to make a paleontologist cry comes tearing around a street corner at top speed, heading for the coordinates Holi relayed over the radio. Luckily, the Decepticon insignia on the storefront (partially covered by an 'Opening Soon" banner) is a dead give-away. Shouting "Maximize!," Dinobot bursts through the unlocked front door, sword and rotor at the ready. There doesn't appear to be anyone here, and he can't hear Duskwing in the back room over the sound of his own entrance.
"Come out and face me, coward!," he challenges the empty storefront.

Swindle rushes into the warehouse after Spy Shot, hitting the button to slam the door shut behind him and lock it. The building is filled with nondescript crates, and the panicked merchant starts opening them, seemingly at random, and pulling out heavy weapons which he points at the door.
"Glass gas grenade launcher, sonic disruptor, flechette projector, one from Column A, one from Column B, a few electro-cannons . . ." Swindle trails off into silence as he continues to unpack guns.

A jet flies low over the storefront that Swindle recently left. Unfortunately, this low flying jet's taken the trouble of filling out all the relevant permits to do so. Pz-Zazz may be a corrupt, burocratic hell, but a person can get away with pretty much anything on such a world if one knows how to work the system, and Needlenose is more adept than most at sizing up alien systems and working them.
(That, and he has more experience with Pz-Zazz, specifically, than all but a handful of Transformers in this reality.)
The jet transforms and touches down at the back entrance to the store, transfering the Nebulans to their hip-holsters. He lands just as a Seeker is exiting through the back way and his antennae and wings perk up.
"Duuuuuuuskwing!" he greets, far too cheerfully. "Why, my goodness, I wasn't told I'd see you here! What a fascinating coincidence!" He pauses and leans slightly towards Duskwing.
"So tell me, Dusky, where'd Swindle get off to?" he asks, tone low and suddenly dangerous.
One antenna perks up. Did he hear someone shouting about cowards out front? Isn't that adorable? Direct, shouted challenges are so quaint. Also, stupid. But really, not the matter at hand.

Duskwing froze. Needlenose was here. Needlenose was asking him about Swindle. Needlenose was a slagging MAYHEM! Duskwing was deep in the smelter now.
"Uh..." Frozen, panicky stare. "Uh... he started ravin' 'bout everyone bein' out to get him and bolted. I dunno where, 'less he went to the warehouse, but that would be kinda stupid 'cause that's the first place I'd look if I was after him, so I dunno for sure. I told him it was a bad idea, but he said it was okay, 'cause he did the thinkin', and yeah, he makes the plans and tells me what to do, 'cause he's good at figurin' stuff out and tellin' me wit'out gettin' all complicated and yellin', see?"

Skipping Spy Shot 6 due to time-out.
Needlenose's face is quaint and stupid!
A master of subtlety, Dinobot is not, but he isn't completely clueless. He subspaces his rotary shield (the whir of its spinning might give him away), leaving him armed with only his sword, then stalks back through the store, staying behind cover wherever possible until he ends up with his back pressed against the wall separating the storefront from the back room, right next to the door between the two. The raptor eavesdrops on the Decepticons. Neither of them sounds like the voice that broke into the Autobot broadband. He'd love to just burst out and start beating on them but. . . two Decepticons. Slaggit, all this skulking around is the rat's job.

Ooh, a warehouse! A warehouse full of stuff, even if that stuff is in crates. But Swindle is unpacking that stuff for him to marvel at. How interesting!
Making his way up a short stack of crates that seem to be out of Swindle's current area of interest, he settles down on top of them to watch the frantic unpacking.

Another jet circles the area, keeping an eye on the building and the 'Cons behind it. Jetfire actually has his permits for flying this time. No more getting arrested for flying around like he is supposed to.
What he wants to do is go down there and start something with the Decepticons, but he's supposed to be looking for Swindle and Spy Shot 6, and he doesn't see either of them with this pair. He'll wait for orders or an attack before engaging.

Swindle finishes trapping the door. It now has several different types of guns pointed at it and a land mine in front of it. Now there's only one thing left to do. The merchant walks over to a corner containing a single dusty wooden crate and a crowbar. Opening the crate with the crowbar, he pulls out The Ark of the Covenant a folding beach chair, a bottle of high-grade fuel, some mix-ins, a martini glass, a cocktail umbrella, and a remote control with a single big red button.
He sets up the chair facing the door, mixes himself a cocktail, and sits, his right thumb on The Button, his left hand nervously twisting the stem of his martini glass.
OOC: Skippable until pursuit arrives.

Needlenose's antenna flick back and his cheeks bunch up, curving his optics into a pleased expression that imply grinning, despite Needelnose's lack of mouth. It's so nice to deal with someone who knows what a Mayhem is.
Needlenose reaches over to attempt to pat Duskwing reassuringly on the shoulder. "Oh, how nice and co-operative!" he beams. "Don't worry, Duskwing! We'll take this into consideration when we investigate your part in this whole business!" Which they probably won't, but it's more fun to make Duskwing think they might. "And indeed, it would be stupid to go to his warehouse, but he tried to run, which was pretty stupid to begin with!" He tilts his head slightly, as if listening to something far away.
"Ah, but I do believe I have a lead!" He waves his fingertips at Duskwing. "See you around, Dusky! Do make sure you stay available, though. It does look so much worse to run, and after all, I've only been told to... deal with Swindle. You're clear, as long as you remain oh, so helpful!"
With that, Needlenose leaps into the air, transforms, and zooms off towards the warehouse!
OOC: Not yet, Swindle, darling, but I should make it next round!

Duskwing flinched at Needlenose's pat. One thing penetrated his terror, though: Needlenose hadn't shot him yet... that was good. "Yes, sir!" he calls after the departing Mayhem.
Maybe it would be a good idea to go back to Ship for now. Damn, but he was going to be ticked if he never got his promised upgrade because of Swindle screwing up and getting killed by Mayhems. "Tole you so," Duskwing muttered to himself as he gathered up his stuff, transformed, and flew at low altitude toward the spaceport.

OOC: Sorry for the wait! Missed that I was up.
Judging by the sound of jet engines, both Decepticons are leaving. Dinobot peers around the corner into the back room of the store, and finding it empty, rushes out the back door, looking up to see a blue Seeker flying one way, a blue and grey not-Seeker flying another direction, and Jetfire circling. Needlenose is the grey one, right? He'd better be, because that's who Dinobot is following.

Spy Shot watches as Swindle sets up and settles down then after awhile heads out across the crate. He has an entire warehouse to explore after all.
OOC: Skippable until pursuit arrives as well.

Following orders, Jetfire rises higher into the air in attempt to avoid detection by the smaller jets. The 'Con jets are splitting up, though, and he can only follow one of them. Presumably one jet will lead them to Swindle and Spy Shot and the other will not.
Keeping track of which direction each 'Con went, Jetfire sends a local transmission on the Autobot frequency which he hopes Dinobot will pick up: //Which Decepticon are we to be following?//
