Spy Shot continues idly filing away the conversation about the origin of Transformers, potentially for late consideration. He also files away Skyblast's suggestions for avoiding being tricked by people, nodding his appreciation. He'll do his best to follow the advice but overall this dishonesty and intuition business seems awfully tricky. Things would be much simpler if people just stuck to what was real and true!
He cranes his head back to look Arcee in the face. "Oh, okay." He continues to climb around her lap, though. After all, she did say she didn't mind.

//Everything basic? Love isn't basic? Arcee, there are those who will tell you that love is the only thing at all that matters,// Skyblast argues, a hint of passion creeping into his voice.
He watches Spy Shot 6 climb all over Arcee and wryly reflects to himself that Spy Shot 6 will at least have make-outs down already if he ever falls for someone.
Skyblast explains, "Basically, if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Not always, but probably, If you're ever confused or unsure, just ask someone else for advice. Officers are good to ask for advice."
Is this revenge on Springer and Kup? Maybe.

//I'm not saying that love isn't important, that it isn't extremely important, because it is,// she replies back with matching passion, //but, Skyblast, you're explaining the concept of dishonesty to him. He doesn't have good instincts or intuition. Suppose he manages to fall for somebody who turns out to be not at all what they seem and was looking to exploit him? Granted, this can and does already happen to the rest of us, sometimes, but as he is now, it'd be so much easier to do.//
She looks down at Spy Shot moving about in her lap with a small smile before regarding Skyblast again. //I don't think he should be coddled, sheltered or chaperoned for the rest of his life. He's entitled to live as any one of us does, and while I believe that ultimately the best teacher is life experience, I also believe in giving him the tools to make the most out of it.//

Pausing in his exploration of Arcee's lap, Spy Shot tilts his head at Skyblast. "Can true things not be good, then?"
There's a lot of good things that happened to him that he had been certain were true! Like coming to Gillanan III and meeting the Autobots, and going into space! If those things weren't real, then is anything that's happened to him since coming here real? For that matter, how would he know if anything he's ever experienced was real? Has his entire life just been a dream?
Spy Shot looks a little dazed for a moment then he shakes his head to clear it. Nope, he's pretty sure that everything he's seen and touched is real on some level. The physical world is real. It's those more abstract concepts where things get confusing.
He'll just ask for advice more often when encountering situations he hasn't been in before.

Skyblast nods solemnly and explains to Spy Shot 6, "Truth can be good or bad, or it can just be. It's true that people die in war, and that's bad. It's true that that there's more to life than just avoiding death, and that's good. It's true that the universe is, and that just is."
//I guess you have a point, given that he gave Swindle the Autobot frequency.//

"Skyblast makes a very good point. A lot of things also aren't so cut and dry, so simple. You have to decide for yourself what to make of them."
A sigh over the radio. //That was a mess and a half. Not at all my first choice for a life lesson, but if he's learned from it, so much the better. I'm just happy that it was quickly dealt with.// Things could have gone much, much worse for them all.
It was never very far from her mind since he mentioned it, but now that she's made her point, she can't but think back to one of his.
Love is the only thing that matters.
It probably wasn't what he meant, or maybe it was, love could be such a tricky thing, but there is a pang in her chest as the scene of a familiar memory starts to--no. Not now. She doesn't want to think about that, right now. Distraction could be such a feat for her these days, but she manages. Sometimes. Looking down at the camera bot, she adds, "Skyblast makes a very good point. A lot of things also aren't so cut and dry, so simple. You have to decide for yourself what to make of them."

"I think that the universe being is good. It wouldn't be very interesting if the universe wasn't." He lifts and drops his shoulders in imitation of a sigh at the rest of it, though. "Making decisions can be hard. It would be much easier if everyone was truthful and there was only one truth to every situation."
But... easier doesn't necessarily mean more interesting, and he does like interesting things. Thinking of that, there were some parts of the ship that he intended to explore today, and, of course, he does need to inform more people of his Autobot revelation! With that in mind, he attempts to scale Arcee's... leg? Tail? Down to the floor.

//How many would have picked our first life lessons to go the way we did, if we had our druthers?// Skyblast asks Arcee idly.
"Good to what end?" Skyblast asks Spy Shot 6, optics twinkling with a devilish amusement. "If no one existed, we couldn't torture each other to death. There'd be no evil, because there'd be nothing. Anyway... maybe it'd be easier, but can you imagine how obnoxious some bots would be, if there was only one true truth, and they were right about it? They'd never let you live it down!"
