While the speed with which Sentinel calms is a bit unusual, Kup really doesn't know him well enough to realize just how odd it is, and hey, he had just wanted the other Autobot to calm down, right?
"Er, sure," he answers, only a little uncertainly. "I'll catch you later than. He calls up a terminal and starts searching through the available scenarios, then glances up. "Oh, and, uhm... you know, if you need help training for one on one tactics, there's plenty around here'd be willing to lend a hand, I'm sure. Just because you're learnin' how to fight solo doesn't mean you're in this alone."

Sentinel Prime catches that uncertainly. Should he have been a bit more belligerent? No, he berates himself, he shouldn't have let his temper, what he has left of it, get out of hand in the first place. However, Sentinel Prime's playing it that he's calmed down, so there's no point in getting riled up again now.
Instead, he inquires respectfully, "I appreciate that, sir. Is there anyone you'd particularly recommend? Someone with a lot of patience for someone not used to this combat paradigm?" Read: someone who won't make fun of Sentinel Prime when he screws up?

Kup rubs his chin and considers their options, glancing towards the ceiling as he does.
"Well, Ultra Magnus does have that standing offer up. And then there's Arcee... she's got a level head and is good with switching from solo to team tactics and back. Jazz's probably a good option, too. Pretty easy going. Rodimus... well, I wouldn't have recommended Hot Rod, and Rodimus still tends towards the reckless a bit himself, but the lad's instincts for battlefield tactics in general are pretty damned sharp."
Had Sentinel Prime asked this question two days later, Kup might also have suggested Impactor, but given that Kup hasn't even interviewed him yet, he's got no reason to trust Xaaron's new pet zombie.

Sentinel Prime actually looks surprised when Kup mentions that he could just ask Ultra Magnus, who happens to be his roommate and therefore cannot escape Sentinel Prime forever. he slaps the back of his helmet, laughs a little, and explains, "Diffusion's only taught to ninja-bots where I come from. I was Academy, not ninja-trained, so I figured... well, never mind."
Sentinel Prime would have made a horrible ninja-bot. He doesn't have inner stillness. He doesn't even have outer stillness.
But, it occurs to him, didn't his Ultra Magnus train with the ninja-bots, even if he was so much more? Yeah, and aliens, too, even organics. At the time, he figured that made Ultra Magnus a crazed, senile degenerate, but maybe there was something to it. It sure seemed to have worked for him. Sentinel Prime guesses he could do worse.
And Rodimus Prime, really? Doesn't he have more important things to be doing, like posing for propaganda videos? And he didn't think Arcee actually was a teacher-bot, but hey.
Sentinel Prime grins and calls, "Thanks! I'll ask some of them later," the next time his schedule says he has any free time, which is... a long, long time from now.

"No problem, lad," Kup answers, smiling absently as he goes back to looking over the scenarios, one hand lifted in a casual wave. "See you around later, huh?"
OOC: Looks like we're heading for a natural end-point for this scene.

"Yes, sir. You can't miss me," Sentinel Prime calls back as he heads off to his room. That's another reason why he'd make a horrible ninja-bot. - - - OOC: I think a mod can lock this, now?
