Crime, Punishment, and Rocks

[Breakaway]

"Well, yeah, we have to carry him, but we can't leave our post here in case we get another new arrival. I guess we could just put him in a corner until the end of our shift?" Breakaway suggests. He's reasonably sure there ought to be a procedure for this, but he's not sure what it is, and he doesn't want to admit to not knowing over the radio.

Not that he's crazy about the idea of finishing out their shift with a dead body leaking in the corner, either.

[Firebolt]

Breakaway makes a good point. Having that dead, scary looking corpse there is awkward. She shifts so she can't see it.

"Do we have a tarp or anything while we figure out what to do?" She asks. She ponders making a call on the radio, so she also brings that up, "Maybe we should ask what to do since he's too big for both of us to carry?"

[Breakaway]

Breakaway looks around. "I don't think we have a tarp, unfortunately. I suppose radioing would be a good idea."

[Firebolt]

Firebolt looks around the room, peeking around some of the corners, and then eventually holds up a hand to Breakaway, as if saying, 'stay right there!' She leaves the room only for a moment, but comes back one foot on the edge of a hover-dolly and pushing herself along with it like it's a scooter (or a shopping cart, because who didn't do that when they were a kid or an adult?)

"Here! We can use this," she says, "I'm sure we can haul the body up onto this. I bet that's what it was here for anyway. I guess it was just outside because it looks recently used," she points at a stain that looks a little too new. "Eeh-yuck," she grunts and then hops off and then walks over and looks down at the body again.

[Breakaway]

The worst culprits for misusing shopping carts that way are the employees whose job it is to gather them up from the parking lot.

"Good idea," Breakaway says, bending down and putting a hand under each of the deactivated Decepticon's shoulders. "You get his feet and we'll lift him onto the dolly."

[Firebolt]

"Ok, ok," Firebolt puts the cart in lock-mode so it doesn't float around aimlessly. She walks over and then grabs the legs, standing between them and hoists them up. "Unf!"

She staggers a bit but plants her feet on the ground. When Breakaway moves to hoist the body, she'll do the best she can to help.

"Ok this is a good instance of 'working together,'" she says, probably while they work on lifting the body up.

[Breakaway]

Between the two robots, the dead body is easily lifted onto the hover-cart. Once he's set down the burden, Breakaway absently wipes some circulatory fluid that leaked onto his hand off on his thigh plating.

"We're not the ones who needed the lesson in working together, Firebolt," he says, sounding a little exasperated at just the thought of Swerve.

[Firebolt]

Firebolt huffs, "Well, yea... But still. I'd think it's good that we can work better together," she pokes her fingers together and then points at him. "Hey, I don't mind working with you either. You're cool. Better than having to sit and do stuff alone. This isn't exactly a terrible punishment in that way."

She smiles a bit and then looks over at the body. She rummages into subspace and pulls out a tarp. "I was going to use this for something else, but I guess it'll be good enough here." She drapes the tarp over the torso and face of the dead 'Con, and shrugs. "Now we don't have to look at that for the rest of our shift!"

[Breakaway]

"I agree. Teamwork is important. You should always have someone to watch your six," says Breakaway, hot-dogging fighter jet. No-one ever said he had to practice what he preaches. He shrugs. "This isn't such a bad punishment. Though I would like a chance to get planetside and stretch my newly-repaired wings." He pauses, leaning carefully against a wall, then snorts in amusement. "Not a bad punishment at all, all things considered. Megatron or Starscream would have come up with something worse."

"Works for me," the jetformer says when Firebolt shrouds the corpse. He shoves the now-covered Decepticon into a corner with one massive foot.

[Firebolt]

Firebolt settles back down, this time on the floor, and leaning up against a wall.

"Well. That was interesting. Hope that's all we have to deal with this shift," she says. "I can play music for the rest of the shift if you want."

Breakaway snorts. "Interesting is right. What music do you have?"
