Swerve can't make himself hole up and wait for injured to come in; it's simply not in his nature. Being a medic isn't in his nature, either, but he's trying that much. He can't sit still. He's out and moving around the ship instead, partly headed for the bridge as a medic but mostly spoiling for a fight.
"Slag-suckin' 'Cons!" he snarls to the walls as he slides through a tight corner. "Gonna break every one I see – take their slaggin' drive shafts for trophies!" After I'm done beating them with the blasted things! He can hardly hear himself over the thunder of his engine reverberating through his pipes and back to him from the walls, so he just rages louder to compensate. It drowns out any other sounds, however, so he wouldn't know if anyone was coming up on him. He has no idea that he's coming up on anyone else, either, until he drifts out from another turn and nearly runs head-on into the tangle of metal that is Bonecrusher and Kup. He hardly sees Kup at all, in fact, amid all the jagged dust-brown. He can hear the oldtimer, but all he sees is Bonecrusher.
Then all he sees is red.
"YOU!" he bellows, tensing on his axles. "CYBER KEY POWER!" He catches a glimpse of Kup, banged up and struggling – Doesn't make any fragging sense! – as Bonecrusher howls and backs away for a moment to nurse his smouldering face and fist and that's when his temperature gauges redline. Kup is aggravating and impossible to understand most of the time, but Kup has stuck by Swerve for all that Swerve's an idiot. And now, unbelievably, Kup is in trouble. Swerve lays into Bonecrusher with a full-force volley of cannon fire as he guns it, burning out before his tires bite into the floor plating and he takes off like a shot toward the big bruiser.
