Prowl was always quiet as he moved, and despite the metal floors of the ship usually making anyone sound loud. He was quite an exception. He was walking along, aiming for nowhere in particular as he continued on looking about the ship. It was always good to know one's surroundings.
He peered down a hall, hearing loud noises from that direction and shook his head, continuing on. Whatever was down that way wasn't for him. With a bit of a sigh he continues on.

Rounding the curve of the hallway is green and gold plantformer who is also fairly quiet. Not through any skill really, but because vines gliding lightly along the floor make much less sound than metal striking metal. Even when out of the biosphere, she still sticks to her plant mode. Partially, it is habit ingrained from when it was necessity. But she must also admit that it simply feels more natural to her.
Botanica pauses as she spies the approaching gold bot. "Oh, why hello. You must be one of the new arrivals- Blurr or Prowl?" she asks. Inwardly, she sighs and steadies herself for yet another round of Oh My God What the Frag Are You?
Well, at least he doesn't completely tower over her like some of the new arrivals.
"I am Botanica, Maximal science officer and second in command of the Engineering, Medical and Science division here."

Prowl stops in the hall as he's approached. "My name is Prowl," he says, bowing his head just slightly. His gaze sweeps over her for a moment, but not in shock, but more interest.
"A Maximal? Are you... Are you an organic? How... Fascinating," he says softly as he approaches and then holds out his hand in greeting for a handshake. "I have not see somebody of this body type yet, so forgive me for being curious."
After all, the last organics he remembers dealing with were nasty brutes, and led by Meltdown. There were also those Space Barnacles...

Well, fascination is better than fright, she supposes. But fascination can cover up quite a range of emotions. Best to reserve judgment.
"In some timelines, the Maximals are the descendants of the Autobots, as the Predacons are the descendants of the Decepticons," she explains as she takes his offered hand, not shaking, but clasping it gently yet firmly. Prowl will find that her technorganic flesh does indeed give and feel in much the same way as do some of the plants of Earth. "Circumstances required the adoption of organic alternate modes for some."
If allowed, she lets her hand drop, then shrugs, her vines rustling, "But to answer your question, no, I am not organic. I am technorganic, a seamless blend of the plant I originally mimicked and Cybertronian technology. And currently the only one of my type amongst the party."
She smiles, "Do not trouble yourself. Your reaction is among the more...polite I have received. Were you looking for something? Or someone?"

Prowl puts a finger of his free hand to his mouth in thought. He can't quite grasp the idea of the Autobots being anything BUT Autobots. He lets her hand go and and then crosses his arms, looking around the halls. He doesn't speak for a few moments, listening to how she explains the technorganics.
"Are all technorganics based off plants, or are there ones based off animals, perhaps?" he queries.
A few more moments pass, "I was looking for someplace in this ship that is quiet, a place to meditate. There do not appear to be any quiet places I've found yet," he says. "Might you know of any?"

"Oh, I imagine I can assist you in that," she says brightly, rather pleased to have someone who at least seems to share her love of peace and quiet. "I value such places myself, and you are quite right in thinking that they are hard to find in such company."
Here eyes twinkle a bit, "But not so hard as you might think. Come. Walk with me," she invites, starting off at a moderate pace and gesturing for him to walk beside her.
After a few moments, and giving him time to decide to join her or not, she answers his first question.
"Actually, no, plantformers are rather rare in my reality. Most in my reality have an animal alternate mode. Aside from myself and my exploration team, I know of no others." Of course, they haven't explored the entirety of their reformatted Cybertron, either.
"My team and I were exploring a planet populated not by mammals, but carnivorous and motile plant life, you see. And so we adopted their forms. When I returned to Cybertron and was reformatted, my current melded form was the result.

"It appears I still have much to learn about my new comrades here," Prowl says, uncrossing his arms and following. "I have heard of worlds that were dominated by plant life, but I did not think... Well. You understand my confusion at first," he continues carefully noting the halls of the ship along the way.
"Where are we going, might I ask?" He tilts his head to the side. He's picturing a quiet room, nothing in it and that's good enough to him. Little does he know how wrong he is!

She laughs, a beautiful, musical sound, the says, "My dear Prowl, I think you could be among this group a vorn and never truly understand it. Despite the similarities, we are, after all, such a diverse group! Merely keep an open mind during the next days, and you will find your footing, I am sure."
It isn't that far to the biosphere from their current location, and so for a few minutes, Botanica merely concentrates on showing Prowl the way, commenting here and there upon a marker or some such. When they turn into the corridor that leads to the biosphere entrance, she answers his question.
"We are headed to the place where I spend almost all my time- when I am not needed elsewhere, that is: the biosphere. You may not find it as relaxing or conducive to your needs as you'd like, but I shall make the offer of its use regardless."
With that last, they find themselves at the decontamination lock, and assuming Prowl follows her inside and does not fuss over the process, she will in short order be opening the opposite door and gesturing at the motorcycle to enter the habitat first.
And watching eagerly to see his reaction.

Biosphere? It couldn't be...
But it is!
Prowl doesn't fuss at all over the decontamination as he peers past the glass to see the biodome. He looks almost giddy, but manages to keep himself under control. But nothing, nothing can compare to the look of absolute awe that crosses his face as he steps inside. He takes off his helmet in order to get a better view of everything.
"Simply magnificent!" he says in extreme approval as he walks a bit further, taking it all in. His optics seem to glint out of happiness.
"This... This is amazing! Impressive..." he turns, and then waves a hand out at the plant life. "This is your domain? It is exquisite. I do hope you not mind me wishing to come here more often than not to meditate..." he trails off as he approached a large tree and puts his hand against its trunk, looking up at it.

"This was created to satisfy the requirements of my form, and those of the other Maximals, yes, but it is open to most all on the ship. I am not so selfish as to try and keep such a treasure to myself," she clarifies.
"So long as you treat all the beings herein- both flora and fauna- with proper respect, you may come as often as you like. Oh, and do not invite the Dinobots in to play football," she adds dryly.
Not that she feels she has to worry. Prowl's reaction seems favorable enough, and he seems to have an inherent appreciation for what he has found. She watches him for a few moments as he acclimates himself, idly thinking that he looks decidedly better without that silly helmet.
"I am surprised. Most have little regards for the green and growing beyond viewing it as ground and obstacle." She gestures to the right. "The marsh isn't really designed for the larger mechs to traverse, but feel free to explore the rest as you like. I'd offer a tour, but you said you were looking for peace and that is seldom to be found in company."

"My room back home, I chose the room in the abandoned warehouse where a tree had broken through the ground and roof, letting the sunlight in," he says, replacing the helmet and then crouching down and jumping up to lightly land in the branches. He stands up there quietly for a bit, looking out across the fauna and watches. He almost is about to settle down before he remembers he is not alone.
He turns, faces the waters, and then jumps a bit and catches his legs on the branch to swing around, hanging up-si-down before dropping down, landing lightly on one foot.
"You are free to join me in meditation, if you wish," he turns, glancing back at her. "I'm sure you know the area better and could show me a good place for me to go to occasionally."

"My own relaxation is found in the tending of the plants themselves," she says of Prowl's offer, "In listening to their complaints, making their situation better." Prowl may not realize that she speaks truly, not fancifully. For that matter, there are few enough who really understand just how connected she is to the plantlife.
"When you come to realize how small you are in the scheme of the universe, enlightenment cannot help but follow, after all."
She places a finger to her cheek and tilts her head as she regards Prowl, considering what places might be best for such a bot. One of the offshoots, perhaps, where there is a path but not a marked path.... This might suit him, keep him from being interrupted.
"Here, I think I've a good place for you, as you seem nimble enough to navigate the path without harming the trees. (For yes, she had cringed at first when he leaped into one, but the oak did not protest his presence.) This way." She points down a mossy path sprouting off from the main forest path, then, assuming he walks with her, sets off.

Prowl quietly agrees, and follows her along, but does not point out his own reasoning on enlightenment. Each is entitled to their own reasoning.
He follows along, trailing behind to occasionally look at a brilliant patch of flowers, or a large tree. He reaches out to put his hand just above one of the larger flowers to just brush his fingers across the top bud and pulls away, more content to view it before moving on.

Botanica will happily answer any question put to her about the flora and fauna as they walk. She does feel the need to caution, however.
"I did say fauna earlier, and I want to make sure you understand the extent. There are insects here, as well as a few small rodents and birds. Those smaller helpers to the ecosystem. That is a large reason for the decontamination. We must keep them safe, but also keep them in, you see."
She leads Prowl off the side path, and into the forest proper. She is moving slowly, so that he may commit the way to memory. It is a path of sorts, if one pays attention to the arrangement of the trees, of their trunks and branches.
"Just a bit further in- there." She moves forward and aside. There is a small clearing here, surrounded by a thicket of wild brambles. The thorns actually wind back into the trees. Getting to the clearing any other way would have been nigh impossible. In the center is a fragrant (a cross between sage and rosemary) shrub, tall and leafy, with a silvery appearance and soft texture. Botanica frowns, then hastens over to the plant.

He nods slightly in understanding and looks up in time to see a brilliantly colored bug flit over his head. A smile crosses his face before continuing on.
The cyber-ninja makes his way into the clearing before finding a nice place to stand and is about to strike a meditation pose before cautiously approaching her as she approaches the plant.
"Is something the matter?" he asks.
