Makeshift is feeling very out of the loop on the pop culture references. Then again, that tends to happen to a lot of people around Junkions. At least nobody called him on the million years part, since he wasn't joking about it.
He really needs to get a hobby some day.
"Learn?" The Mini-con's optic band blinks, and he settles down to watch as the movie starts.

At Ramulus' question, Dai-Janku clenches a fist in front of him. "It is a tale of a young man who finds out the hard way about the responsibilities that his great powers come with...." he explains, voice low and dramatic.
Then Firebolt introduces herself, and the Junkion gives her a sharp nod. "Greetings, I am Dai-Janku, grand Junkion swordsman." Also slayer of furniture.

"Hmm, that's quite a heavy proverb....." Ramulus hums, eyeing the newcomer when he makes his introduction "I'm called Ramulus, if we're on that tour, obviously Maximal.... eh, and we're not contagious" Remembers Mayday far too well.....
Spiderman turns out to be more of a movie to his liking that the one about the ferrari quite early from the start. His fuel begins to flow just a bit faster and he scoots to the edge of the couch, propping his knees to his chest to lean his head on them.

"And with the WHAM! and the POW! And the other sound effects!" Firebolt declares in excitement, punching at the air during the fight scenes. She gets riled up over the movie, cheering at points and almost nearly falling out of her chair at others.
She loves movies, can't you tell!

"I'm Makeshift," the Mini-con adds in his own belated introduction.
Makeshift is, perhaps, the only one not getting hugely into the fight scenes, although being almost entirely inexpressive, it's hard to tell. He IS getting some ideas on new tricks to try with his tow line, though. This will probably end poorly.

Dai-Janku gets into the fight scenes as well, cheering Peter on to use his courage and such at times. It's not super robots, but it works for him.

"Of course he can safe both!" Ramulus exclaims at the cable car scene, snorting furiously at the bad guy. "and you're so going down when he did so!" The green pulsations of his spark crystal are no coincidence to the excitement level of the movie, and there's even a snarl thrown in here and there.
"Offline that pred-spawned piece of rust, kid, now!"

"Aw, don't worry Peter," she says at the end, mostly referring to him having 'girl problems' since he is a super hero. "You'll find a girl that can put up with you soon."
Firebolt cheers loudly as the movie ends and then stands up, tilting her head to the side. "That's two movies that we've watched, and both were awesome," she says, and then turns to the small audience that has now gathered to watch the movies. "Up next..." she searches through her files, trying to find something fitting. She peers out a window and then has an idea, "How about Star Trek!" she says while putting in the newest one released and then sits down, back next to Dai-Janku, and dodging his spikes while keeping a hold on the remote.
"I hope you all enjoy too," she nods, as the movie starts up.

"It's like they're deliberately leaving plot threads open in case they want to make another one," Makeshift muses at the end of the movie. He really isn't familiar with Hollywood at all.
The Mini-con jumps down from the back of the chair he's been sitting on, plopping down on an arm of the same couch as the others and dangling his lower legs off the front of it. As long as nobody gets into this movie so much that they start throwing arms around and bat him off, he'll be fine with just the edge.

Dai-Janku nods at Makeshift. "Yes, they do that from time to time..." he says, though his face grows slightly grim. "However, it can sometimes be bad if they do another." He shakes his head a bit, shuddering. "There's no power to equal the power to corrupt that is owned by the sequel..."1 Of course, he's being a bit over-dramatic.
And then he's distracted by the new movie starting...
And is soon biting back emotions by the time the first scene ends at the valiant heroics on the screen.

Amusement is wiped out and replaced by frowns, scowls and hisses, drawn out by the television showing events and interactions that are chilling and.... familiar. Exploration mission, Exploration mission. Evac ships, stasis pods. The look of pain that flashes over his face at the demise of the USS Kelvin, and the utter... coincidental naming of the attacker's racial name, along with their not-so-friendly appearance, what kind of movie is this?!
'Did...Did the Axalon go down like this!?' Fur bristles, spark pulsing a bright green from its chamber, small thorns of pain digging in as Ramulus's mind races. And then the male human enters the small shuttlepod, taken in by skilled tongues calling his bluff....taken in by lies hiding an obviously painfull fate.
<"All Axalon dormant-boarding personnel please report to the designated cryostasis centers immediately, I repeat: All Axalon dormant-boarding personnel please report to the designated cryostasis centers immediately">
Like stung, Ramulus jumps off the couch, head ringing from the memory flashback as sparks fly between him and the furniture. Clasping a hand over his hurting spark crystal, the Maximal bares his teeth to the screen, a clenched left hand shuddering.
Then, he calms, temporarily locking the inner turmoil away from his exterior features. However, when he speaks, it is emotionless and rough, save for a faint quiver now and then, "I... I desire some rest... do continue watching, but please excuse me for a while, I bid you a good evening" He manages to conjure up a smile, however weak it may be.
Ramulus proceeds to remove himself out of the room, before the bridge can detect a 'lightningstorm in a lounge'. -------------------- OOC: On his way out. Will leave if not stopped physically, which would have sizzling consequences. You're free to have felt the static discharge if you want to... though it wouldn't have been at hurtfull levels.

Firebolt is getting caught up in the movie but then realizes Ramulus is upset about, well, something. She waves goodbye to him, knowing better than to stop him as he leaves. She did the same thing earlier, and would have been upset at being stopped.
Her ponytails droop low as she looks at the door where Ramulus left and then seems to be sniffling again, even if it is just a noise.
"I did something wrong, didn't I," she sighs, and then turns, hugging against the closest thing, that 'thing' being Dai-Janku. If he doesn't pull away at the first instant, she shoves her face against his arm. "I just wanted to show a movie that everyone likes and..." she mumbles and then glances up, finally realizing she's hugging somebody.

Makeshift is somewhat more into this movie, and so almost doesn't notice Ramulus leaving until he feels a slight tingle of static. Blinking, he looks up to see the Maximal on his way out, and raises a hand in a wave. The Mini-con really doesn't know what to say to that.
He knows even less about how to react to Firebolt's sudden glomp on Dai-Janku (hey, Makeshift was nominated as Least Likely to Be Hugged). So he sits quietly to see what happens.

Dai-Janku is a bit concerned by Ramulus' departure, but simply waves back. "Y'all come back now, y'hear?"
His attention initially goes back to the movie, but it's grabbed again when he's grabbed by the little red Ferrari, who appears to be upset. "Ah...er..." He fumbles for words, and then just lightly pats her on the head. "I wouldn't worry. Star Trek isn't for everyone. Or maybe he's an original series purist."

"Maybe this is him paying back for me running off before..." she muses quietly, her processor still on that incident. She thinks a bit more, before looking back towards the door. "I'll have to talk t' him later, and give him time to think like he did for me!" She determines this is the best course of action, but still feels a little bad. It's evident in her optics as she settles back.
She sits quietly, watching the movie for a little more before shifting here and there. She squints one optic shut and then turns, looking back at Dai-Janku.
"Can I cuddle you more, it just felt better than... Than I don't know. It just did," she now stumbles over her words for a moment, and then regains her normal tone, "It'll make me feel better from just now!"
