Sentinel Prime shakes his head and explains, "No, Swindle was, uh, confiscated, I believe, as evidence."
He also sputters, "Allies?! But humans have this acid attack, and they can contaminate you! Standard procedure is to erect a forcefield around your ship and hose down in a shower if you're unlucky enough to come into contact with one. At the very least, use wipes." He asks plaintively, "Are you sure your humans are the same as the humans in my reality?"
He hunkers down in the chair and looks over at the door and any escape exits, quite expecting a reaming when he admits to hiring a Decepticon. Instead, Kup gives him... advice? Too eager, he replies, "I'll keep that in mind!"
Sentinel Prime cheerily exposits, "I told you! I'm the Commander of the Elite Guard, the Autobots's elite team. I have a forcefield shield, and I can have it extend spikes and throw it." Hmm, what is he forgetting. "Oh. I also have a lance. It shoots energy blasts. I'm a bull...oh. Earth mode. Right. I'm this weird thing called a 'snow plow'?" He holds his hands up in the air and shrugs. "I selected inconspicuous alternate modes for Ultra Magnus and the rest, see. I've been assigned to hunt down traitorous spies, too." Wasp got right past him. Also wasn't actually a traitor, for that matter.

"Wouldn't know to compare," Kup answers the question about humans in his reality. "I haven't been to your reality. Don't know much about no acid attack." He looks up and smirks. "That's my job." Then he looks down at the metal plate. "So far, though, seems like humans have been pretty similar across realities." He pauses. "'Cept for maybe that Spider-Man guy from Xaaron and Rodimus's. That's just plain weird."
Kup flips the metal sheet over, places his hands down on it with a clink, and looks up. "Whelp, I think we're about done here. Now, before I show you a map of the Event Horizon and boot you outta here, do you got any questions for me?"

Whenever Sentinel Prime gets around to reading about Spider-Man, he's not going to be shocked at all. Squeamish? Ooooh, yes. But not shocked.
He places his hands on his thighs and asks, "Who all is here from my reality, anyway?"
Who is here who could tell dirty, vicious, sexy lies about me?
Sentinel Prime squints at Kup's sheet, frowning slightly. There must be some secret code to it!

Kup notices the direction of Sentinel's squinting, but doesn't take much mind, confident that no one outside of Kup can figure it out.
He's not letting Nightbeat at it, just to be on the safe side, though.
Kup lifts his hand to count off on his fingers. "Well, there's Optimus, he and that Dinobot were the first two arrivals. The Dinobot went off on her own, though. Some of the others had a brief run-in with her, but we haven't heard anything from her since last we left. Oh! Oh, yeah, and there's Mayday, Jetfire, Jetstorm, and Prowl." Kup's information on the Decepticons isn't up to date enough to include any of the Decepticon arrivals, and as for Elita? Well, Optimus had rather publicly told her not to talk to Sentinel just yet, so there's something there that needs to get ironed out.
If pressed on it later, Kup'll claim to have forgotten. Folks usually buy that.

But what if Kup shows up and figures it out? Then how will Kup feel? He'd be beside himself!
Sentinel Prime hasn't heard anything about a girl Dinobot or a Mayday, but the other names are familiar enough. His expression noticeably sours at the mention of Optimus Prime and also Prowl, to a lesser extent.
He asks, "If we're all here from different whens, when are they from?"
That's pretty important toward knowing how much he needs to shut them up.

Sentinel Prime looks thoughtful, almost sly for a moment, and he asks, "Did Optimus Prime tell you that he was an academy washout in his interview?" Then, he shakes his head. "I understand that these things are confidential," he spreads his hands wide, the model of understanding, a thin smile on his face. "My mistake. He's just an old classmate of mine. Can't blame me for being concerned about him and his special needs."
Yes, Sentinel Prime is so very, very concerned about Optimus Prime, who comes from a point in time where he doesn't have any dirt on Sentinel Prime and is likely to be easily cowed. Concerned that Optimus Prime might get ideas above his station.
Prowl and the Twins are more worrying. Good thing he got his side of the story about Lockdown out to Kup first, huh?

Kup smirks faintly. As it turns out, Optimus did tell him he didn't complete his training, but that's not the point. The point is... Sentinel's not even very good at being sly, not when he's this obvious about it. "Riiiiiiiight," he says, drawing out the word. "Can't blame you at all."
"Anyway, that's about it." He activates the holo-portion of his terminal and brings up a map of the ship. "Here's the ship layout, so's you don't get lost. The white dot is where we are, and the blue dot is your room. If you needa, you can upload a copy to memory."

Sentinel Prime pouts, "And I'm sure he told you the whole story," like he's not sure Optimus Prime would at all.
At some point in the near future, Sentinel Prime clearly loses the map.
He observes, frowning, "That is a very small blue dot. Say, what am I going to be assigned to be doing?"

"Well, it's a big ship," Kup points out, then shrugs. "I'll let you know once I've actually got you assigned to do anything," he adds. "For the non-techs and non-scientists, there's mostly just Rock Watch, internal security patrols, and training. With your background, you'll probably be helping there." Kup's not particularly interested in complaints about it being a Minor's work - there's not enough of a pool to draw from for them to be able to pick and choose. "There's also a few bridge watches that can be done even if you can't pilot... don't take but a quick explanation before a person's ready to man a sensor station and such. Hell, considering one of the main designers is from your reality, the controls might even seem familiar."

Sentinel Prime grimaces and stares over at the left upper corner of the room. None of that befits an Autobot of his station! It's like Kup is treating him like some common soldier - nay, a common recruit!
He manages, "I guess that's all." He holds out his hand to shake.
Sentinel Prime's not sure why he's suddenly in a hurry now, since he has nothing to look forward to but drudgery, but he knows that he wants out of here badly.

Considering on the Event Horizon, even the head honcho does tasks such as those, it's probably for the best that Sentinel kept his thoughts to himself.
Kup stands and leans over the desk, returning the handshake, a move which may show that the surprising strength felt earlier wasn't a temporary matter. He smiles a bit grimly, then gives a quick nod of his head. "All right, then. Welcome to the Event Horizon, Sentinel."
"There's a saying, that there's no place like home, and this... is nothing like home."
