Emirate Xaaron is pretty touchy-feely. Emirate Xaaron is also sensitive enough to know what Rodimus Prime has inside of him. Sensitive enough for it to bother him.
But it would be rude to refuse a sincere gesture. He moves forward slightly, not enough to actually put him in contact with Rodimus Prime but enough to make it clear he doesn't mind if Rodimus Prime chooses to land that hand.
Emirate Xaaron snaps out of his guilt for a moment to correct, "Any of them can travel in space. They all have a native mode that lets them traverse from planet to planet," and arrive as meteors and crash down in showy fashion that requires a lot of CGI to animate. "I'm not sure how good they are at it, compared to someone who is solely dedicated to the role, but it does add versatility."
He smirks a bit as Rodimus Prime suggests that he might simply ask this Ultra Magnus.
"I was planning on it. And perhaps sending Clipper to fetch my full-stasis set - that Ultra Magnus acted strangely around Holi. I'd like to test whether it is an aversion to Micromasters in general or if his problem is solely with Holi."

"Oh, yeah, those modes!" Rodimus exclaims, only now remembering them. He smirks up at Emirate Xaaron. "And you were worried about adapting to space-based tactics?"
The hand settles for a moment, Rodimus gives a faint squeeze, and then he pulls away, leaning back once more. He grins as Emirate Xaaron makes his suggestion. "Good idea. If he's going to be unnerved by a whole class of Transformer, the sooner we know, the better. Especially when so many realities have Transformers that size or smaller. According to their descriptions, before their 'reformatting,' the Maximals and Predicons who were still on Cybertron sounded an awful lot like Micromasters. If we get one of those, it might be easy to confuse the two."

"The Decepticons have them as well. They need to be considered when thinking about Decepticon troop strength in space situations."
If Emirate Xaaron didn't know better, he'd swear Rodimus Prime was trying to flatter him. As it is, he finds Rodimus Prime's casual acceptance of his desire to torment Ultra Magnus with Clipper extremely gratifying. Yes, certainly, Emirate Xaaron could just ask Ultra Magnus what the matter is, but that does not guarantee a truthful answer. Observing natural reactions is often a great deal more fruitful.
He steels himself, and he does not flinch at the touch and squeeze.
"Yes, also, it might be something else entirely. A fear of police cars, a fear of the colour blue - hence why more testing is required."

"Yeah, that makes sense," Rodimus agrees. He can be a pretty sneaky twerp sometimes. And, as much as he valued his own Ultra Magnus, there is still the occasional Hot Rodian desire to engage in a bit of friendly torment there.
The young Prime stifles a bit of a yawn that comes up rather suddenly, and then frowns. "Hmmm. I think I should probably start my defragmentation cycle here shortly. Is there any more pressing business, Emirate?"

Emirate Xaaron's stitched lips pull back in a bright grin. Now here is a Prime with which he can work!
he shakes his head, "No, not at the moment. I'll wake you up if you're on fire."
OOC: Fade and lock?

"Thanks," Rodimus smirks as he tucks his datapad away and turns to lay down on his berth. "Good to hear it."
And then he initiates his shut-down procedure.
OOC: Sure!
