Day 30. Semi-Private thread. Takes place after Mistaken Destinations. ---
After a quick radio call to the jet twins, Springer heads for the lounge he told the two to meet him at, taking a seat in a chair that was part of a small circle of seats. He pinches his noseridge a bit, sighing. Stressful reality is stressful.
After a moment of relaxation, Springer pulls out a datapad. Jetstorm came from shortly after Jetfire did, if he recalled correctly. Perhaps he knew about the Dinobots of their reality.
For now, he waits.

After a short period of time, Springer might hear a slight scuffing sound coming from the hallway. After informing his brother that they needed to go talk to the Wrecker, Jetfire proceeded to walk - not fly - to the lounge. If they are in trouble there was no need to head into a lecture any faster than was necessary.
Grabbing hold of the door frame with one hand, Jetfire peeks around it to look for Springer. To go in immediately or to not go in immediately?

Why, to go right in, of course!
Jetstorm wasn't quite paying attention to his brother stopping, but Jetfire has a better idea about what's about to go down anyway, since he's known Springer longer.
A few steps in, however, and Jetstorm realizes he's walking alone. He stops mid-stride, then goes at-rest and looks back. "Brother?"

Once Jetstorm makes himself known in the room, Springer perks up, and waves at the pair. "Ah, there you are!" He seems a bit more formal than usual, but nowhere near the level of some of the others when it comes to official matters.
"Come on in, take a seat. Time for a little bit of a talk."

As Jetstorm has already entered and Springer has noticed them, Jetfire quickly darts into the room and ahead of his brother. He swaggers a bit with his chest puffed out slightly, as though he had not just been peeking nervously around a door frame. He is totally cool and confident!
"Hello Springer!" he greets, sitting down across from the Wrecker. One of his knees jitters up and down restlessly.
Well, Springer does not seem like he is going to yell at them, at least. Being yelled at is never pleasant.

Jetstorm pouts just slightly at being cut in front of, but contains himself for the moment.
He walks rather normally in comparison to Jetfire, and flops down beside his brother, curiously noting the shaking knee. A light glance to Jetfire, then to Springer. "What is the on-going?"

Springer nods to Jetfire, poking at the datapad in front of him a few times before Jetstorm speaks up. "Huh?" A moment to parse the odd syntax, then he clears his vocaliser. "Well, erm. Just wanna go over some basic radio security with you two. The newly-arrived Jetfire informed me of the odd incident that happened a bit ago. Are you two aware of the need to rotate frequencies in the event that one is compromised? Say, a Decepticon shows up that has a friend back in his home reality named Hightower. However, the Hightower in this universe is an Autobot. Thus, his personal frequency would be compromised, and he'd need to rotate it. You get what I'm saying?"

Jetfire stops bouncing his knee like an over-caffeinated teenager as Springer begins to speak. He does not sound angry, or disappointed, or anything, like the jet had been worried he would. Letting out a small sigh of relief, he still looks a little guilty as the Wrecker begins to go over the whole radio frequency business.
"Yes, Springer, I am getting it," he says. "Our frequencies are being rotated now."
Not going to mention that he really should have known better, having dealt with the 'Con originally sharing his brother's frequency long before Jetstorm arrived. Not going to mention that at all.

OOC: Springer asked me to show up via PM. if you don't want me here, just hollah, and I'll go.

Sentinel Prime watched Jetfire and Jetstorm go down a hallway and into a room. It's not like he's a stalker or anything. He just happened to notice them, the few familiar faces he doesn't want to punch, aside from Elita-1, and hooboy, she's a whole other can of worms.
A quick pass by the room showed Springer inside, but Sentinel Prime has other things to be doing, like trying to find out where they keep the handwipes.
But it's a lounge, right? Not a private room.
Another pass down the hallway, back the other way, and he peeks into the room again. What are the Twins doing with Springer, anyway?

Jetstorm nods as Jetfire answers. "Yes sir, Springer sir. Mine are already being rotated!" Even in discipline, he's competing with his brother.
He does glance over at Jetfire, curious about that expression on his face, but he will ask about that later. He doesn't even know what his brother changed his frequency to, after all! And he doesn't wanna risk talking to that scary old 'bot again.

Springer is handing out discipline - as Kup is busy with a new arrival.
A lightsmirk, then Springer straightens up in his seat, and relaxing a bit. "Excellent. And it's just 'Springer', Jetstorm," he says to the blue 'bot.
His tone turns a mite more serious now. "Now, radio frequency breaches are a serious issue, so I can't just let you off with a warning, you know. I checked with Kup, and after conferring him, we decided that the pair of you should spend a week on cleaning duty under Mayday." While serious, his voice is calm, not degrading.

Jetfire's face falls, but only into a rather childish pout. "Cleaning duty? I am being warrior, not cleaning-bot!" Oh, he will serve his punishment sure enough, but that doesn't mean he has to be happy about it. It sounds almost as boring as rock-watching, mysteriously appearing brothers aside.
Also, why is getting an uneasy feeling from the name Mayday? There are so many names and people to learn, sometimes it is hard to remember who is who...

Sentinel Prime observes, though his observation may be unwanted, "Cleaning duty, huh? Not too bad. I would have added some push-ups."
Robot push-ups where they transform in place.
It doesn't overly shock him to hear that Jetfire and Jetstorm are getting in trouble over frequencies. Foolish kids. He does shake his head and comment, "After all that business with the spy, I figured you two would be a bit more careful. Guess not."

OOC: Since I play Springer and Jetstorm, switching them up for plot convenience and so the twins are together in posting order.
---
Springer smirks a bit at Jetfire. "Well, we all have to do things around here that we're not used to. Just part of this place," he says, when Springer notices Sentinel Prime. "Eh, I felt it was appropriate, since it was a just a name mix-up incident. We've just had a new Jetfire arrive, and apparently the Decepticons have a guy named Jetstorm in their ranks."
However, something Sentinel says catches Springer's attention. "Spy?"

Jetstorm straightens up when Sentinel walks in, out of instinct. He winces, both at the thought of adding pushups, and the chastisement over the issues with Wasp.
"But Sentinel Prime, sir, we were not having radio issues when we were dealing with Wasp and Shockwave..." His tone is a bit matter-of-fact, innocently so.
