Starscream appears over the 'horizon' of the Event Horizon, diving down towards Skyfire from 'above,' relatively meaningless though the term may shortly be in microgravity.
The Air Commander takes in the situation and starts issuing orders. //Fleetwind, let go and kick off from the ship. You're in my line of fire. I will retrieve you.//
Regardless of whether or not the pastel Seeker complies, Starscream locks onto Skyfire and fires off a missile. He dithers briefly over whether to use heat-seeking or radar-guided ordnance, but eventually decides on radar-guided, since they're right near the Event Horizon's thrusters.

Get out of the way of the weapons fire? Yes, please! Fleetwind releases his hand hold and kicks against the Event Horizon as hard as he can, arms out, letting the force of the kick carry himself out of the way of both Skyfire's kick and Starscream's shots.
Of course, since he can't really maneuver in space, now that he's out here he can't really do much but watch. At the moment, he's watching the charge and hoping it doesn't drift any closer to him.

Fleetwind suddenly does for himself exactly what Skyfire was trying to do--set him adrift in space. Something is wrong here! The razor-sharp shadow of a hulking, angular body clues Skyfire in and he gooses his thrusters, turning as he does so--
To see Starscream and the Decepticon's missile coming at him. Skyfire twitches the ready muzzle of his cannon downward and fires just in time to blow the missile out of space.
He may not be so lucky next time. The double-barrelled cannon flashes up and Skyfire fires on Starscream.

Starscream rolls out of the way of Skyfire's shot. If there was an atmosphere here, he'd feel the rush of air as the twin particle beams flew past his wingtip.
The Air Commander attempts to fly right past Skyfire, trusting to speed and agility to get him by the Autobot. He's aiming right for Fleetwind, transforming to robot mode in flight. He intends to snatch up the Seeker and reverse direction back toward the Event Horizon.

Oh, wait. Starscream's picking Fleetwind back up now?
(Fleetwind had rather hoped Starscream wouldn't bother with him until the end of the battle.)
The Seeker does not resist being snatched up by the Air Commander, and indeed, even in space, he's agile enough that should Starscream transform again, he should be able to switch handholds to grab a hold. At the moment, however, since it would appear that he's back in the fight, he points his right arm towards Skyfire, fingers stretched out as if reaching for him, and fires his shoulder-mounted rifle at the Autobot.

Skyfire rotates about his vertical axis, firing his cannon once at Starscream as he flies by, Fleetwind momentarily disregarded. Starscream, who can freely maneuver in space, is by far the bigger threat. He prepares to transform and chase Starscream down with cannon and missiles--
A shot from Fleetwind goes straight through his paper-thin chest armor and severs his CPU from his main power relay. Skyfire suddenly freezes up as his CPU plummets into hibernation mode; his lights dim and go out. Fleetwind by accident (or was it?) found the same deadly weak spot that Starscream so often targeted deliberately, in another timeline.
Starscream was not the bigger threat, after all.

Surely Fleetwind is eager to return to battle and accomplish the mission given to him by the glorious Decepticon empire? Starscream needs all the warm bodies with guns attached to them he can get right now, and Fleetwind fits the bill.
The big jetformer ignites his afterburners as he passes by Skyfire, the Autobot's shot blowing the tip off his right wing just as it's ending up on his back. He hisses in pain, the sound lost with no air to carry it.
Starscream successfully snatches up Fleetwind and heads back toward the Event Horizon and is pleasantly surprised when he incapacitates Skyfire. He was expecting making it back to the ship to be a big ordeal, what with being slower and less manueverable due to the added mass of an extra Decepticon!
//Nice shot,// he transmits, touching down on the hull between a couple of thruster bells and depositing the Seeker beside him before clinging with all four limbs, looking like nothing so much as a mechanical bat hanging between some sort of weird giant stalactites. //Report. How many charges has your team managed to attach? Where is Scourge?//
He's just going to sit here for a few moments and let his power levels recharge. He was foolish to stay on the bridge so long and get embroiled in direct combat. He knows better. He was showing off for his new troops. He won't let it happen again, Starscream thinks to himself.

Fleetwind stares in utter shock as his blasts take down Skyfire. He looks at his shoulder-rifle, then up at Skyfire. //I... how did...// then Starscream compliments his shooting. //I... guess so!// he answers uncertainly as he crouches down, mostly to grab hold of the Event Horizon and keep from floating off.
//Not many charges set. They were onto us very quickly. Scourge is...// he starts to look around, frowning. //Scourge was fighting Rodimus Prime, I'm not quite sure where they've got to. I got knocked a bit off from my original position when Skyfire attacked, though.//

//When we find out who tripped the alarm, they'll wish they were never hatched,// Starscream transmits, clenching a fist.
//Mindwipe and Counterpunch were the only ones other than you I detected on my fly-by, and they're both engaged. The rest of your team is presumably scattered. We will resume setting what charges we can and then detonate them,// he orders, looking around to see where the explosives are.

A small orange vehicle - that can only be described as a spacecraft if you're being generous - zips by and transforms, snatching Fleetwind's errant explosive out of thin space. Taking a moment to examine its craftsmanship, he grins at the pair of Decepticons.
//I seriously doubt y'all are licensed to use these!//

//Yes si-// and then Fleetwind cuts off as something occurs to him. He gives Starscream a very puzzled look.
//...Hatched?//
He quickly shakes it off, however.
//I believe the team had them in their personal subspace pockets. I know I did.// Fortunately, before they're armed, they're not volatile the way energon is. He removes two charges from subspace. //This is all I have left. The one I was setting drifted off, but I'm afraid I lost sight of it.//
Space is dark!
And then Whirligig shows up and picks up Fleetwind's stray explosive. He looks towards the Autobots, and his wings droop a little.
//The good news, sir, is that I've located my missing charge,// he reports to Starscream.

//Transformers hatch from pods in my reality,// Starscream explains.
He growls in frustration as Whirligig whizzes by and absconds with the bomb. All he wants to do is blow up the Event Horizon and these damn Autobots won't let him alone! Screamer ignites his jets and pushes off from the ship, chasing after the orange nuisance.
//Set the charges!//

//Aw, all the 'Cons want a piece of this!// Whirligig says when Starscream begins his pursuit.
Stowing his stolen charge, he transforms again, and with a quick thruster burn sets himself on a trajectory towards the ship. Well, he's currently aimed more to one side of the ship, but it'll have moved into his path by the time he gets there if nothing goes wrong. The Things-Going-Wrong Probabilometer is pretty high right now, though.
Time for evasive maneuvers! Doing his best to keep his thrust perpendicular to his forward velocity, Whirligig makes short burns, jolting about in a fairly random pattern.
Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start.

... Hatch?
Well, that is odd, but Fleetwind, ever the tactful one, does not say as much. Instead, he simply inclines his head. "As you command, Lord Starscream," he replies. Then, returning one of the charges to subspace, he kneels against the hull and begins to set the second one.

Starscream chases after Whirligig, not trying to match his jinking evasive maneuvers but putting himself on a trajectory that will end up in the same place he will. He extends his arms forward, grasping, as he puts on a burst of speed, hoping to catch the little Autobot in a grapple.
Because Whirligig isn't crazy enough to use that demolition charge at point-blank range, right?
