It should be noted that Scourge actually feels he is the most handsome Transformer here. He lies. He lies all the time.
Scourge taps one of the Decepticon symbols on his shoulder in answer. He does not look directly at Rodimus Prime, and he keeps his distance, ever edging away, slowly, slowly. He also points out, "Similar and the same are not the same, sir. One misses so much of what is actually here when it does not mesh with what one expects to be there."

Yes, Rodimus can tell that Scourge is still creeping away from him. Still, for at least now, he does not close the distance - that might force him to flee prematurely. In fact, he moves a bit closer to Mirage right now. No matter how this encounter goes, after Prime's last one, he's going to be looking to... improve his mood shortly.
"Ah, you make an excellent point there. Perhaps, then, I should be asking you for details on the layout? Anything interesting you've observed so far, Scourge? Besides my room, that is."

Mirage's optics narrow as the Prime moves closer. The spy still harbors a grudge over being treated as little more than a toy at the party. It brought back memories that Mirage would prefer not to dwell on, memories that this little tableau stirs again. And worse is the knowledge that his anger and hurt means almost nothing to Rodimus, that Rodimus knows Mirage's desire to kill Rodimus is just as strong as the need to be in the Prime's presence. Rodimus knows this, and takes perverse pleasure in the fact.
With a barely contained growl, Mirage jerks his optics away from the advancing Prime. The hound studies his fingertips as he privately radios Rodimus, taking great pains to make his tone as neutral as possible:
//He's got power and rage enough, and he's skilled at skulking. Almost missed him, actually. But he lacks...something. Worldliness. He honestly seemed to not understand why you would 'suffer a roommate' as he put it.//
To Scourge Mirage says, still sounding faintly amused, "Comparing notes wouldn't be a bad idea, actually. You're right in that things here aren't exactly the same; found that out pretty quick, myself."

Scourge supposes that he should toss the Prime a bone, to prove that he hasn't just been prying into the Prime's room, and so he crosses his arms and explains, "I have discovered that the body of Optimus Prime has been moved, sir."
He watches this Prime very closely, looking for any trace of a reaction.

//Interesting,// Rodimus replies to Mirage. //That'll have to be explored further, though perhaps not now.//
The Prime studies Mirage for a moment or two, but no more because Scourge is likely to take advantage of too long a pause and be off. He can tell Mirage is still upset over something, though he's not empathic enough to be sure just what. A bother, but Rodimus is confident that he can force those hurt feelings out of the other later, either with another kind of hurt, or something... else.
Not for now, though.
Rodimus tilts his head thoughtfully at Scourge's news, and nods once. "I imagined it had be carried off somewhere. I didn't expect these goody-two-shoes had used the entire thing for parts." He doesn't sound very surprised that there was a body, however.
"Something to speak to your commander about," he adds tiredly.

//As you like.// is Mirage's only acknowledgment of the Prime's response. Rodimus will most certainly pull from Mirage the reasons for his anger, and it will likely not take much coaxing. Mirage has never been shy about voicing his opinion to the Prime, at least in private.
"I never understood some mech's reluctance to make use of- how shall I say- used parts. The body is not the essence of an individual; it is a shell, and if another can be made to live from parts of that shell, why not?" he muses, optics still downcast.
It would be wrong to think Mirage is not still paying close attention to the others reactions, however.

Scourge nods, agreeably, "Of course sir." Scourge, personally, supects that Starscream already knows and is behind the moving ot the body, but well, Rodimus Prime doesn't need to know that.
It would seem that these Autobots had their own dead Optimus Prime. Scourge wishes that he could tell more of what this Prime thought of Optimus Prime, as Mirage had divulged his own opinions.
He inquires, blandly courteous, "Anything else, sir?"
Scourge has nothing to say on the spare parts discussion. He's too busy supressing the urge to turn someone into spare parts, on his own.

And now, Rodimus springs forward, suddenly and without warning closing that distance that he'd been keeping so respectfully up until now. He stands like that, glimmering red optics looking down into red optics, faint smile just a little cocky, near enough that they aren't quite touching.
"Almost. I was thinking... I so rarely find myself with opportunity to spar with someone... powerful enough to give me a challenge. I... break my normal partners far too easily. Perhaps in the next few days, you might find some time to... assist in my training?"
"It's an excellent release, I promise you."
He seems to have, at least for the moment, forgotten about Mirage, but perhaps Rodimus just takes for granted that when he's ready for him, Mirage will still be there.

Of course Mirage will be there. He will even come if called, like a well trained hound should. He is collared and leashed, but Rodimus would do well not to take too much for granted.
Mirage continues to quietly watch, though when Rodimus closes with Scourge, the spy's demeanor changes. It is a subtle shift, but he is more wary. There is a tension about him now that was not present before.
His optics glitter as he studies the pair. He will not interfere in the Prime's play unless asked, but Scourge could actually be a threat. Mirage will not deny that he would like to see Rodimus hurt- but only to a point. And Mirage would much rather be the one doing the hurting.

Death is a release, but Scourge would not seek it.
He visibly bridles when Rodimus Prime gets up in Scourge's face, his hands clenching to fists and his optics flashing with rage and hatred. Scourge replies, voice quavering with streaks of anger, "You... flatter me, sir, that you would assume me an interesting fight," and enrage me by invading my personal space and then asking a favour. "I would have to suggest that check such a request with Starscream," a pause, "or perhaps Shockwave." There was definite emphasis on Shockwave, who has been decent to Scourge thus far and who would stand to gain valuable tactical data from watching such a fight.
Regrettably, Scourge is making himself look leashed, in defering the choice to Starscream or Shockwave, and he hates it, but there is little to be done for it. He should not be having this conversation, as his shoulder rocket launch mechanisms tighten and scream at him, begging to be used.
Only the thought of Sky-Byte laughing at him, that insufferable shark, keeps Scourge focused enough not to do something stupid.
So far.

Rodimus's smile grows faintly larger. "Very well, then. I shall consult with Starscream," a pause, "or perhaps Shockwave. One of your... superiors. I thank you for entertaining the possibility."
He remains in place for a second longer, then takes a step back. "But for now, I suppose I shall let you return to your... explorations. Good evening, Scourge." With that, he confidently turns away, presenting Scourge with the tempting target of his own back as he walks towards his quarters, and towards Mirage.

When Rodimus dismisses Scourge, Mirage seems to do the same. The tension that had been present slowly eases away, and Mirage's attention focuses on the approach of his master. With subtle movements and acts he gives the impression that Scourge has been deemed unimportant, as if the Prime's flippant attitude toward Scourge negated the Decepticon's threat.
But Mirage has no more dismissed Scourge than Rodimus Prime has.
Mirage folds his arms over his chest, the half smile on his lips at odds with the hard edge to his tone as he asks, once Rodimus is within easy speaking distance, "Having fun?"

At his flippant and degrading dismissal by the Autobots, Scourge's fists clench ever more tightly, and he stomps away, all pretenses of stealth forgotten. He moves swiftly, but his tread is heavy, and he likely dents the metal roads with his passing.
Far enough away, he transforms, with a strangled snarl, and there is the sound of a furious 18-wheeler's engine revving.
Shortly after that, there is the screeching, smashing sound of a crash and then a hideous creaking, as if a building had just been knocked over.
It has.
OOC: Out of thread.

Rodimus doesn't answer Mirage. Not just yet. He lifts his head as Scourge's heavy footfalls recede and listens carefully.
When the sound of the collapsing building reaches his audio sensors, he grins and looks down at Mirage.
"I am now."

Mirage shows no surprise at the sounds of demolition, and his gaze does not waver from Rodimus.
"Good. I would so hate for you not to be enjoying yourself," Mirage drawls, sarcasm dripping from every word, "We are only here to suffer for your amusement, after all. Now I think I'll get the rest I was aiming for before Scourge interrupted."
Mirage turns sharply away from Rodimus then, intending to head back into the warehouse.
