"You shouldn't point out the mistake unless you want me to hold you responsible," Rodimus answers dangerously as he starts heading towards the area where the party had been held. "I'm still figuring out who to punish."
"And, yes, I did spot those two together.1 Don't worry, I'll ensure Perceptor's loyalties remain with us. But if you do note him straying I... would not be adverse to the heads up." It's not just that Rodimus enjoys watching his pets bark and bite and claw at each other - he expects the two to attempt to throw their leashes, and relies on the idea that one is unlikely to let the other get away with something they themselves cannot do.
It's not long before Rodimus reaches the remains of the bonfire. He transforms quickly and strides first to the table, frowning. There's less than there had been when he left, but the party was still going then; that's not a strange thing.
1 Needlenose visited Shockwave before he visited Rodimus-3. Therefore, Rodimus was still at the party when Perceptor-3 and Shockwave were 'rather cozy.'

Rodimus' threat is met with as much of a shrug as Mirage can manage in car form. Such threats are par for the course, and Rodimus will decide to punish someone. Nevermind that since it was Rodimus' idea to have the celebration, it was Rodimus' error that left the emergon unguarded for a time.
"Perceptor's is loyal only to himself, and that despite what you've done."
Once they arrive, Mirage transforms as well. He isn't looking at the table and the remaining drinks. No, he's looking at the ground, the nearby trees, anything that might hold a bit of information about what when on here after he left. There is much trampled though, and it could takes hours, if not days, to puzzle through it all.

Mostly-empty cubes in both arms, Holi stops mid-stride when the Prime arrives, followed shortly by the other half Mirage. It's a little conveniently hard to salute like this. Oops.
Once he's sure he isn't going to get kicked and that he isn't the one being barked at – Prime brought his puppy along; how cute – Holi carries on. He moves slowly toward the table and silently grits his teeth, resuming consolidation of the scattered, used containers that these slobs just left anywhere they felt like. Some are bone-dry, some still have the barest dregs trickling around the bottoms, but they're all just cast-off from the night's festivities. He could be doing so many other, more interesting things right now.
Instead, he's here, just as ordered. Totally behaving.

The rumble of carefully placed, but heavy footfalls can be felt on the ground as one of the Prime's bigger dogs comes on the scene with a leash.
However, said leash is connected to a smaller robot, and not Grimlock himself. Tugging on it, he turns down to Bambi. "Now then - I, Grimlock brought you here to be fed and to clean up, at Rodimus' orders. Let's do hope that you are a bit better behaved this time around, wot?"
Once giving Bambi her marching orders, he turns to Rodimus and salutes. Oh, hey, there's Mirage, too.

Bambi is in dinosaur mode, and she is rather fuming, it must be said. She hisses to herself, barely audible, "I, Bambi, have done precisely nothing wrong, you great rotters."
She is no beast, to be led around on a leash and fed at the whim of larger masters. Yet, here she is, and here she must follow the orders of these hated Autobots.
As soon as Grimlock looks away for so much as a second, she has craned her neck over to glare daggers at the greater reptile.

"So he thinks," Rodimus answers Mirage. "He'll learn better."
The Autobot leader strides to one of the remaining partially filled cubes, scoops it up, and tosses it towards Grimlock. "Here, feed it this," he orders, addressing Grimlock and not Bambi. Rodimus has no idea whether the cube is tainted or not, and doesn't care.
"Holi, stop mucking about with that trash. We only care about the energon that's still out here." He transforms again, and the back of his trailer opens. Once more, the mighty Prime is reduced to mere transport duty, but... he does have a convenient form for it. Then, the first half detaches and he pushes himself away from the trailer, a bit of an awkward move as he now only has his front wheels. He returns to robot mode while his battered secondary portion remains in place, ready to have the energon placed inside it.

Mirage just shrugs at the Prime's assertion. He knows better than most that Rodimus speaks truth.
"Oh now, what's this?" he murmurs, moving closer to the Dinobots so as to get a better look at Bambi. "So we got one, too? You look quite a bit like the one that was with their Optimus during the battle."
No, Mirage isn't greeting Holi or Grimlock. Holi is beneath his notice, and Grimlock...well, let's just say Mirage still nurses some grudges toward his own reality's version of the Dinobot commander.
Speaking of the battle, Mirage is struck by a memory, "Can you track? Scent?" he asks Bambi.

Oh, hey. Grimlock brought a pet, too. It's colour-coordinated and it talks! He must be so proud.
Better that one than Holi and that's all that matters to the Micromaster. So long as Grimlock keeps her, at least. He isn't the one being dragged around on an actual leash.
"Yes, sir," he chimes dutifully when reprimanded, dropping his current load right where he is and, swallowing his apprehension and disgust at the whole business, setting to shifting the cubes with substantial contents. It takes him a lot of effort to walk all the way up to the Prime's trailer and load it. He doesn't like having this sort of proximity; too easy to be noticed when he'd rather just go on being overlooked.

Good thing Holi knows how to watch his mouth, otherwise Grimlock may be tempted to rattle his "pet" up a bit, and then throw it at Holi.
Then he'd be proud. But, alas, misbehaving in front of the Prime isn't a good idea.
Grimlock catches the cube thrown to him, setting it down in front of Bambi. "I, Grimlock say we need to get her obedient before we find out what she's capable of, wot." He chuckles. "Quite hard-headed like the lot of my Dinobots back home."

Bambi does not move to touch the cube. She will not be fed, and she is jolly well not an 'it'!
The dinosaur draws herself up into as close to a bipedal posture as she can, tail dragging on the ground, to answer Mirage. In a cultured, imperious voice, she answers, "Tracking? My good sir, that is no skill for a lady. A lady has hounds for such a task."
In short, Bambi really does not answer Mirage's question, but really, she doesn't want to be someone's hunting hound. Everyone here seems to be bound and determined to make some pet of her, inferior even to a slave, and she will have none of that.
The tiny blue Transformer draws little from Bambi save green, green envy. He walks about freely!
Her shoulders hunch and her head lowers at Grimlock's words. Obedient? Obedient? These Autobot scum will never find her obedient. She is sure of that.
Perhaps she should have been smelted along with her brothers. It seems, to her, a more dignified end than this.

"Hound, hmmm?" Rodimus murmurs after Bambi, tone almost suggestive as he grins at Mirage. He then inclines his head towards Grimlock and says, louder, "Very well, but keep in mind: I am not known for my patience. If you need... assistance in disciplining it, however, let me know." He looks at Mirage and asks, "So you're saying there's another one, too, huh? And... an Optimus?" His optics narrow as he considers the implications, then they widen. "Did he seem to... possess a Matrix of his own?"
Before Mirage can answer, however, Rodimus strides to the nearest not-empty cubes and scoops up a few of the cubes himself. Some might think it odd that one such as he would help with clean-up. The fact is, Rodimus is not a patient man, and not a man to stand still for too long. His concern is not so much with helping young Holi, but with keeping his body as active as his mind is. Of course, there's also a saying about idle hands, but his hands are the Devil's tools at all times, anyway, so that's hardly a concern.
Prime doesn't say anything else to Holi, since, now that Holi is doing his job, Rodimus doesn't consider him worth bothering about. On the other hand, because Rodimus doesn't consider Holi worth bothering about, the odds that he might "accidently" step on the Micromaster have increased considerably, and Holi will have to work a bit harder to stay footprint-free.

Mirage quirks a brow at Bambi’s answer, then smiles, a wicked glint in his optics, “Ah yes, but a lady of skill and station would not find herself shackled to a brute and treated like war spoils, now would she?”
He glances up at Grimlock then, smile still in place but now considerably less warm, “Treat her less like a pet, and she might be more cooperative. Not all collars and leads need be so….literal as the ones currently binding her, after all. If she’s got skill and intelligence, can hunt, and does so willingly, she’ll be infinitely more useful than you and that overgrown flamethrower at the moment.”
Mirage turns toward the Prime when he's addressed. "I couldn't tell, Rodimus. I'd guess he doesn't, but that stems from my noticing that he seemed green, not any actual fact. As for our pretty little miss, here- I'm fairly certain her alternate scented me, despite my cloak."
Privately Mirage adds: //Which could be extremely useful given the situation. How about it? Can I have a go at taming her? I'll have a better chance then tall, dark, and gruesome here, at any rate.//

Free to walk around Holi may be, but he's also free to be kicked or stepped on. Something he's trying very hard to avoid while not looking like he's trying, since the Prime has to go tromping about in the same general space. On one hand, he could be deliberately stamping in hopes of smashing the Micromaster. On the other hand, and Holi permits himself an utterly vile scowl only when he's shoving more cubes into place on the trailer and his back is therefore turned to everyone else, Holi has his limits. Every miss sees a little more rust creep over the Prime's finish, over Mirage's and Grimlock's, too.
If only. If only.
But Holi remains resolutely silent and schools his expression into subservient neutrality if not false cheer. And he listens.

Grimlock nods in Rodimus' direction. "As you command." Then he peers down at Mirage and Bambi as they converse, tugging on her leash with a touch of sharpness. He did not say she could speak, after all.
And, oooh, that blue mech has a mouth on him. Grimlock splutters, raising a finger in Mirage's direction. "I say! You may be Prime's prize pet, but I will have no such lip from you, Mirage!" Grimlock's optic band flares. "After all, I don't tell you how to service him, so it would be in your best interests to not tell me how to do my job, or speak ill of my subordinates, wot."

Bambi replies, voice stiff, "Women have ever been the spoils of war."
True on Earth, the only world she has ever known.
Treat her less like a pet, and she might be more cooperative. Not all collars and leads need be so….literal as the ones currently binding her, after all. If she’s got skill and intelligence, can hunt, and does so willingly, she’ll be infinitely more useful than you and that overgrown flamethrower at the moment.
So this slender racecar would still like to see her as a pet. Just less of one. That's still a pet. Still bound, but with an invisible collar.
No.
Bambi will not cooperate with him. She is indeed intelligent - intelligent enough to read between the lines, and what she reads between those lines does not please her.
When Grimlock tugs on her leash, she moves in the direction of him, trying to render his tugs quite useless by introducing slack into the leash. She thinks to herself, You, Grimlock, cannot have it both ways. Either I, Bambi, am a subordinate, or I, Bambi, am a pet.
Do pets dream of the armour melting off their owners, as they all die in a fire?
Chance not.
