"Games?" Swerve echoes, but he isn't the least bit interested. "Why can't we just fraggin' drive?" That's all he wants, is a drive. No stupid banter, no annoying kids, just speed and the road and him.
Only he can't; too fast and he gets too hot. Too fast and he leaves the annoying kids he's supposed to keep an eye on. Maybe he can still shout down the games before they get into full swing and he has to arm his cannon to make them shut up.

"Hey, I'm game!" Gizmo tells Sideburn. "Heh, game... I'm game... heh..." Wasn't as clever as you thought it was, Gizmo... "It'll help pass the miles, what's the harm?"

"That's what I was thinking, Gizmo! Anyway, there's one Koji taught me that he called 'I Spy'..." Sideburn's grinning over the visual part of his radio, though only Wedge would be able to pick it up. "Whoever's the spy picks out something everyone can see, and then says, 'I spy with my little optic' followed by something about the object, like its color."
Sideburn had Koji with him at several points. Who knows what other things he learned from the kid. Not to mention he did spend some time on the humans' internet...

Wedge blinks back at Sideburn's beaming face. A second passes before his expression splits into an equally delighted smile. "Oh! I think I know what you're talking about!" He may not know Earth human games, but Wedge and his team had done enough self-entertaining to pass time deep in the space-bridge tunnels when there was no work to be done.
The Buildbot is about to plunge whole-heartedly into this new pursuit when he notes Swerve's response. Sideburn can probably see the hesitation creep into Wedge's face. But, a game can't be too bad if Gizmo and Sideburn are revved up for it. Gizmo is pretty right about it cutting through time. "Hey, I'm up for it." A smile is set back on his face. "You going to join, Swerve?"

Am I going to join? Swerve guns his engine; it's louder than a simple scornful snort. "No," he growls at Wedge, "and frag alla ya and your stupid smelting game. I just. Want. To slaggin'. Drive."
He doesn't have the slightest clue what game they're talking about anyway. Sideburn's suggestion just sounds flat out idiotic. There's nothing out here but fields with some scattered clusters of buildings. After that, it's desert. Not even decent desert; it's desert with weird animals and dead bodies all over the place.

Gizmo gives Swerve a little more space on the road, just to be on the safe side. "Sounds good to me, Sideburn," he says in reply. "Um... I guess I'll start, if folks don't mind..."
He doesn't exactly wait for folks to speak up and say whether or not they mind, though. Scanning the surrounding fields, he picks out what looks to be an abandoned farming vehicle of some sort, dull yellow with patches of dirt and rust. "Something yellow."

Wedge pushes back any hesitation he has with Swerve's vehement protests. Hey, a game is a game, maybe the racer will warm up later. If not...well, Swerve probably knows of something else to pass time with. The Buildbot blinks as he searches for Gizmo's object.
They've got many miles to go and there are so many things that one can see in the desert.
OOC: Timeskip back to base now? ^^ Twas a good journey and I know I had fun with the thread.

There is a slim chance Swerve might agree to the game, but only if he can amend the rules so that whoever spots the target can shoot it. A lot.
"Get bent," he snaps at the three of them before gearing up and threading between cars and bulldozer so he can at least get out front and not have to listen to it.
OOC: I'm good with a skip. Mightn't look it, but I had a blast.

Gizmo might be agreeable to Swerve's change of the rules, if only to see him in action again. As for Gizmo actually firing at something he sees... it might not be the best idea to leave a trail of haphazardly-spaced glue spots all the way back home...
He scoots over to let the red racer pass.
OOC: Skip's good with me.
