Blackarachnia took note of the frequency and reciprocated, accepting the file transfer of the mpas. "Hmm, not bad.." Blackarachnia said in response to Fleetwind, appraisingly. "I could work on weakening the floor on the roof of a building, set up a web inside, and place the flag on that." The Widow tilts her head to the left and back. "it's a plan."
"So, any thoughts as to who's on offense, who's on defense?" Hmm, better transform. Blackarachnia avoided the vocal command for her transformation sequence and just unfolded into robot mode.

ooc: many many apologies, guys... I'm having a hard time getting anything out of Barricade even without the distraction of being out of town. If someone has something cool they would like to do but are stalled for lack of Barricade at *any* time until I get back - or maybe even later - please, go ahead and skip me. I really don't mind, and I don't want to hold folks up. If you do skip him, just assume he's following along/doing what he's been told/looming menacingly and I'll post him back in as soon as I can.
----------
Barricade nods as Fleetwind confirms Blackarachnica's identity with his explanation and as she offers her idea, absently glancing up at the buildings around them. "Then you should remain to maintain and guard the base... Fleetwind and I can guard the perimeter and seek out the other flags, but once we leave, no one returns to the base until we win or until you call us back for reinforcements. If we do not return, we cannot be trailed back to our base."
He glances around again, examining the local structures before turning back to Fleetwind. "If that is acceptable, we should establish a decoy base to return to periodically, with traps left to ensnare anyone curious enough to follow us back."

Fleetwind gives a single, sharp nod. "Very well, but if that's the plan, we'd better hurry. Time runs short, especially if we intend to offer an alliance to the pirate. As for the faux base, may I suggest the tall building with a tower at {co-ordinates}? It's a good choice tactically, blocked in by a bridge on one side, with an expansive view. Obvious, without being too obvious."
Assuming Fleetwind receives an agreement, he steps into the air, hovers a moment, and turns to Blackarachnia. "I've marked a few potential options for you on the map. Let us know which one you go with. If you need back-up, I'll probably be the one who can be there fastest." With that, he transforms and is off.
OOC: Understood, and not a problem.

"All right, works for me." Blackarachnia said as Fleetwind took off again, pleased that someone else has done the work for her. Plus, if they fail, she can blame them for their efforts. And then, to Barricade. "Any little tricks you might have? Something that'd come in handy?
Assuming Barricade says something to her, and assuming the flag is nearby, she takes it with her and begins to make her way towards the tower.
She opens up her radio frequency to the pair of them. //By the way, Needlenose mentioned something about replaying the Unicron video as a demoralizing tactic. We're in Spinister's turf but he seemed to like the idea. Don't let it get to you, we'll come out looking good.//
Sure, it was kind of cheating but what kind of Mechanism wouldn't take that kind of information up and still call themselves a Predacon or a Decepticon?

"Understood."
Barricade fishes out the flag and hands it off to Blackarachnia after Fleetwind takes to the air. "Yeah. When I transform? Pretend to get in and then bolt for cover to throw off anyone who might be spying."
There's a whirr of components and gears as Barricade throws himself down to the ground into his alt mode and pops open the door nearest Blackarachnia. He hesitates there for long enough for the smaller beast warrior to have enough time to scramble in, although it's all but impossible to see through the black tinted glass to tell from the outside if she had. Hopefully she's clever enough to scramble for cover to start making her way to the base she chooses, rather than merely standing there, for shortly after, in a cloud of tiresmoke, he peels out and bolts for the coordinates Fleetwind had given for the decoy base.

Fleetwind has basic training as a scout, a rudimentary tactician (if he were a chess player, he'd be prone to sacrificing the queen to protect the pawns), and is excellent at judging odds (right now, he'd be betting against himself).
What he is not, however, is a trap builder, nor particularly technically oriented. He flies low among the buildings, then flies up along its side before transforming and hovering over it - incidentally in sight of anyone else in their 'city' who happens to look in his direction. He frowns as he considers his options and studies the area. Then he transforms and dives once more, rocketing down one of the primary streets. He flies in close to the buildings that line the road and approaches mach speeds, then exceeds them. He's no Thundercracker, and he can't control sonic booms or direct them, but any jet can create them by going fast enough.
With his speed and his proximity to the buildings, he shatters windows as he passes. Once he's a distance down the road, he pulls up, transforming as he does, throws his legs forward, twists, and transforms once again, rocketing back the other way, along the other side of the street.
He then climbs, transforms, flips, dives, and makes another pass, this time extending his grappling hook to gouge out more glass and more general debris as he flies. One final pass, and the road is littered with glass, twisted chunks of metal, and general detritus.
This done, he radios Barricade. //Not much of a trap-maker, but I can make a path obvious and difficult to traverse at the same time. Watch your tires if you take the north approach. It won't do much against the worm, but should slow down any other land-goers.//

"Not a bad idea," Blackarachnia said to the police car, "But If I have to set up the flag, I'm going to be seen anyway." With that she continued towards the skyscraper.
She did her best to cover her audio inputs as the yellow jet creates multiple sonic booms. //Next time tell someone when you're going to do that!!// Blackarachnia radioed to Fleetwind, a little loud so that she could actually hear herself speak.
Whatever Fleetwind might say, she continued her task. Withdrawing her grapple gun, she fired it to the top of the building, ascending it quickly.

//I'm about to do that,// Fleetwind radios back. And he repeats the pattern along the other main road leading to his decoy building, leaving both the roads a difficult to traverse mess.
Once he's done, he transforms back to robot mode and starts flying a spiral up and down the building, firing at it repeatedly, trying to damage, but not destroy, the support beams. Granted, once he's done it will be very obvious that someone went through a lot of effort to make sure this building couldn't support a lot of weight, but sometimes a 'trap' doesn't need to be subtle. If people think they have to spring it to accomplish their goals, they'll do just that.
OOC: Baricade skipped as-per player's previous OOC note.

"Everyone's a comedian.." Blackarachnia mutters to herself as she sets about blasting away support beams for the top few floors of the building. After doing that, and jumping up and down on the top a bit to make sure that it can still hold her but just barely, she sets some webs up to ensnare those who fall and installs the flag at the top.
Blackarachnia, using a technique made popular by another arachnid-themed humanoid, uses her grapple gun to swing from building to building, looking for an industrial sector to this region in town. Surely some anti-air defenses would discourage people from trying to use that angle. Now, if only the raw materials are going to be here...
