"A follower who nobody knows exists? You are competent, and Starscream is incompetent. Despite this, Starscream is a scheming schemer who schemes and you would probably like to know those aforementioned schemes." Ghost says, sitting up and swinging his lgs off the table.
"Feed Eye-Fire the right information, totally made up if you wish, that you know Starscream would like and I can make sure he delivers it in the correct fashion and at the right time for Starscream to take him into his trust. He does after all still believe that Eye-Fire is supremely loyal to him alone."

"Starscream still believes a lot of things, not the least of which is his own superiority," Shockwave answers quietly, "And I prefer not to lie outright if at all possible."
One more avenue of information can not hurt. Still, Shockwave distrusts this symbiote of Eye-Fire's. Allegiances bought can be bought again, after all.
"Consider this then- I shall not attempt to excise you from your host, so long as he does not display such a....grievous error in judgement as he did at the crater battle. I will, in fact, make some minute adjustments which will allow you to better curb such impulses in the future."
He folds his arms under his chest, "I will point out, that while his original shot was ill-timed, it is not that error to which I am referring. But I am fairly certain you know that."

Ghost considers the deal placed before him, and decides its acceptable and he'd rather not push his luck further.
"I accept. My job did become harder after the original technician looking after Eye-Fire was killed and another took over, not knowing about me he made things very difficult for me."
"Eye-Fire's shot was technically perfect, it was just a shame he didn't know his target didn't possess a lasercore. I shall also be sure to intervene to stop him making the error in question again, your modifications easing that task."

Shockwave merely nods, then moves back to the table on which Eye-Fire is seated. "Back down with you then, so I might get the work over and done with."

Shockwave busies himself with his work. At some point, he would greatly like to give this programming which makes up Ghost a good look see. But that is for later, when the sniper is more fully bound. Shockwave's position does not allow him to watch the pile of rocks on one worktable behind him. The worktable should be perfectly visible to Eye-Fire/Ghost, however. Just as Shockwave is finishing up, there is suddenly something else upon that worktable, crumpled and prostrate upon the rocks. It is an eerily familiar purple form, its mono-optic gone dark in its severed head. The body is shot to doll rags, gun arm hanging on by the barest of lines. The biggest difference between this purple gunformer and the one working on Eye-Fire is the Decepticon emblems on the body's shoulders. OOC: In a few. Have to get this in there.
Boys and Girls, we now have a dead Marvel-Movie-verse Shockwave, and those from some of the Marvel timelines might be able to recognize him as such.

Ghost spots the corpse of Shockwave materialize, but doesn't let on visually.
"Shockwave, I am about to advise you on your actions over the next thirty seconds. You will put down your tools, step away from this unit and allow me to stand up. This is for our collective continued good health." He says, gaze locked into Shockwave's single eye.
"I will then stand up and take a few steps away from you. You will then turn around and deal with the current situation." Ghost says, voice impassive and neutral as always, but with slight loudness that suggest following this is in his best interest.

"Hmph. You presume much, do you not? Whatever may or may not be behind me can not be worse than anything I have dealt with in times past. Besides I am almost finished," Shockwave answers flatly. No one could have entered Shockwave's lab and circumvented his security without his knowledge. Except perhaps Spinister; he's a tricky one. But Shockwave doubts that the Mayhem would be so lax as to let Eye-Fire spy him.
It really is only a few moments before Shockwave puts down his tools and steps away, allowing the sniper to rise and move as far away as he wishes. Rather then turn fully, Shockwave steps to one side and twists in such a manner as to allow him to watch Ghost/Eye-Fire and also see what lies behind.
Well, well, that is...rather unexpected. Shockwave's optic flares bright for a second before settling back to baseline.
"My turn to advise you on your actions. I will remotely disengage the security locks and you will leave promptly and both of you will be silent about what you have seen."

Ghost says nothing as he turns promtly and leaves. Exactly whose skeleton Shockwave desires to keep in his closest is of no concern of his.
Navigating his way back to Eye-Fire's room, he checks to make sure its empty before laying Eye-Fire down on his bunk and putting himself into defrag for five minutes, after which Eye-Fire will take control agian with a slightly altered set of memories provided by Ghost. Ghost retreats back into the background of existence, waiting for when his next task to present itself.

Shockwave actually does not immediately begin an autopsy of his dead double. Instead, he sits down at the table on which it appeared, leaning back and merely...studying. Thinking.
This will be a singularly unique experience, he thinks. But it does mean that he now has to reveal his cache of shiny rocks now, doesn't it?
Most definitely
