Day 7, while 'Toto' is going on. Semi-private. Please ask before joining.
Kup, in alternate mode, rumbles back towards base, moving as quick as he can, though that isn't all that quick. There's a rescue effort going on elsewhere, and not being on it makes Kup nervous - but he knows his limitations. Some of them, anyway. At least, he knows that he couldn't make it to the zoo fast enough to do Clipper much good.
There is something he can get done, however.
//Emirate Xaaron,// he calls over the radio. //Where are you? I've got something for you.//

Emirate Xaaron is wandering about the tunnels, looking for salvage. He is probably still a bit banged up.
It is easy to see why his alternate mode barely works.
He blips his location to Kup, looking at a metal wall panel speculatively. Hmm, no rust, looks like good, solid metal...

//All right. I'll be down there shortly,// Kup replies. //Make sure no one's about. Well, except maybe Rodimus.//
OOC: Will arrive next post to give Xaaron a chance to reply this one.

//Hmm. I suppose that I could summon him. One moment.//
As he makes the radio call to the Prime, he braces his foot against the wall and attempts to tear off the metal panel.

A short while after the radio message is sent, a familiar gray-green kup rumbles into the area where Xaaron is salvaging. It transforms, revealing itself to be a familiar gray-green Kup.
Kup holds up his datadisk to show Emirate Xaaron. "The alternates gave our guy trouble. Sounds like they got him to give up the Decepticon frequencies. He seems to have avoided breaking cover completely though." With that, he tosses the disk towards Emirate Xaaron casually, assuming the Autobot leader has a datapad.

It's soon after Kup arrives that Rodimus does. He transforms from vehicle mode, looks at Emirate Xaaron, then looks at Kup. "Emirate says you have news, Kup?" he asks.

Emirate Xaaron manges to catch catch the disc a bit clumsily, pulls out a datapad, and slots it in. He inquires sharply, "What does he have on us that he could spill?"
Little, he thinks, but a little is a little too much. He shows no concern for their man's safety behind enemy lines, because he has none. The death would be a shame and, more, an inconvenience, but such is war.
He nods in greeting to Rodimus Prime. "I do say that."

Kup considers the question. Finally, he answers, "Here? Even less than he did back home. The time and place for his meetings with Mirage. Maybe more about Mirage himself." Kup shakes his head. "He knows things like city layouts and such back home, but that doesn't apply here and most of it can be gotten off Google Maps. Really, the biggest problem we have if he gets found out is that we don't have him feeding us information anymore. Or that he starts getting fed wrong information to feed us."

Rodimus smirks as Emirate Xaaron answers him without answering. He strolls nearby to look over the golden robot's shoulder and says, "Well, all right. Do I have to play 20 questions first?"
His expression sobers as he listens to Kup. He looks at the elder, then down at Xaaron, thoughtful frown tugging at the corners of his lips. "We're talking about..." he trails off. "Another report, then. Good - it's been awhile."

"Yes, him," Emirate Xaaron agrees. "It would seem he got into a bit of trouble while our duplicates were about but was not wholly compromised."
He arches an optical ridge. "They had a think session about you, and..."
Emirate Xaaron holds up the datapad, so that both Kup and Rodimus Prime can see, and he plays a particular clip of video.

Kup watches the video, brow-ridges raised. Himself, Hot Rod, Arcee, Springer, Wheelie, and... that one that the cameras aren't quite catching has got to be Blurr... being chased by...
"Why's Ultra Magnus firing at us?" he asks, baffled. "Those ones he's with... I recognize some of them, but..." he shakes his head. He gestures towards the viewscreen and looks at both Emirate Xaaron and Rodimus.
"The group being chased pretty much makes up the crew you're most likely to find around me and Rodimus back home, plus Magnus, who... seems to be on the wrong side. The timing's off, though. Wheelie didn't know us that long before Hot Rod became Rodimus, for example."

"He's with the Wreckers," Rodimus explains as Kup seems at a loss to describe them. "Springer leads them. I understand that Magnus sometimes worked with them, but I don't think he ever really qualified as one." He glances at Emirate Xaaron for confirmation, as the local Wrecker expert.
Then he leans forward and observes quietly, "Kind of interesting, that Hot Rod's wearing my colors."

Emirate Xaaron explains, "This video clip is from Shockwave's world, where he rules supreme over Cybertron. Ultra Magnus is his man and the Wreckers, his troops." He makes an expression of extreme distaste. "Kup, you and yours are rebels there, evidently, though perhaps the term 'freedom fighters' is more in order."
"According to the report, Shockwave was visibly disturbed by the idea that Hot Rod has Prime potential. Make of it what you will."

"This would be the same Shockwave that claimed Perceptor was his science officer, right?" Kup observes, considering what Xaaron has to say. His optics narrow. "Kind of comforting to see that maybe his 'united Cybertron' weren't quite as united as he lets on, but both Perceptor and Ultra Magnus working for him?" He shakes his head and looks at the others.
"This could be a real problem if anymore from his reality show up, you know."

"Agreed," replies Rodimus, thoughtful frown worrying at his expression. "I mean, Perceptor isn't even from his reality, and we've had enough complications just from there." Then, however, Rodimus smiles faintly, crouching down to view the recording.
"You know, though, if we can come up with some excuse for having this footage... it might do Perceptor, and anyone else he tries to sweet talk, some good to see that not everyone on Cybertron did agree with him, after all."
