OOC: Semi-private, please ask before joining. This is set on Day 4
Starscream is back at base, his repairs have been tended to. And now he is off looking for mayhem.
Or at least, one Mayhem in particular.
He enters the medical ward, hoping to find Spinister in there.

Spinister is here. His injuries are healed, but... it's fairly quiet in here. Hook brooks no nonsense. It's a good place to perch on the counter and field-strip Hairsplitter's armour. The clothed Nebulan sits just down the way on the counter, playing cards with Singe.
He looks up and puts the armour aside as Starscream enters. Spinister slips off the counter and bows to Starscream, awaiting his word silently.

Starscream leans against a wall, smirking confidently. After a few moments, he starts speaking.
"It was the funniest thing. Rodimus was fine one moment... and the next some unidentified blaster fire took him out. I mention this to you because, of course, as I didn't see you there, you couldn't possibly have been there yourself."

"Hilarious, my lord," Spinister agrees mildly. He suggests, intentionally obtuse, "Should I inform Intelligence to be on the look-out for an unknown Autobot sniper?"

Starscream chuckles as his trusted aide maintains his facade. "Always with the secrets, Spinister! I know it was you. I am curious as to why you have not claimed the credit, yet." It's seems very unDecepticonlike to not announce to the world you got the killshot for an enemy, not to mention an enemy leader. At least, by Starscream's reasoning.
"I shall have to devise a series of medals, so that I may award you one."

"Bragging about bagging Primes was always more of Bludgeon's job," Spinister demurs, referencing their training games, a universe ago, in the solid light chamber.
Looking slightly troubled, he admits, "I was aiming for them both." Starscream should understand that Spinister means both Primes.

Starscream laughs. "Only one of two Primes? Is better than the average." As pleased as he is, he turns slightly annoyed. "But, Bludgeon? Who is that?"

Spinister didn't nail the Prime that is still here to vex them. He shrugs. The sniper explains, "Bludgeon was a member of the Mayhem Attack squad. Martial artist."

"...And, he 'bagged' a Prime? Multiple Primes, even?" Starscream obviously needs to know a lot more about Spinister's universe, all the interesting things happen there! Starscream's own world is a lot more... status quo, for some reason.

Spinister realises that he needs to explain a bit more. "Oh. Not a real Prime, my Lord. We had a simulation room. Detailed. Lethal. Bludgeon did well in practise runs."
The Decepticons now have a simulation room, too, which is also lethal, on the right setting. Hook constructed it, though, so it certainly doesn't have anything to do with Spinister's training room, does it?

Starscream sneers. Oh, so they are good at killing Optimus Prime in a video game. That saves Prime the hassle of killing himself, then, as he recalls. "Well, should you ever meet him here, you can at least claim better than his own lofty goals."
A pause. "I wasn't kidding about the medal. You have proven yourself to be a dedicated and competent member of my Decepticons, and I would be too happy to reward you. Unless you would rather not..."

Spinister seems unruffled by Starscream's sneer. He's not here to defend Bludgeon's actions, and Spinister and Bludgeon often disagreed, anyway.
Spinister still wouldn't brag, if only because silence is his staunchest ally.
He shrugs. "If you deem it worthwhile, my lord. It isn't my place for how you reward the troops."
It's Spinister's place to hunt them down and kill them dead when they err.

Starscream hides his irritation at just how passive Spinister is. That's not the question he asked. So Starscream defaults do 'I don't care, I'm doing what I want' mode.
"Then I shall have to create a medal award system, and have someone, possibly Needlenose, design and create them. You have more than proven yourself prior to this, and your successes must not go unnoticed."

Spinister is too passive? Want to see Spinister be more active?
Tell him that you love Autobots.
Then Spinister will be really active.
"Needlenose would love that, my lord," Spinister replies, voice a bit distant. Needlenose is an artist, after all. "Perhaps ask Hook, as well?"
If only to avoid the inevitable snub by replacing it with inevitable bickering between Needlenose and Hook.

"I'm sure he would, but aesthetics without a function would not interest Hook. I'm sure Needlenose can consider that his reward, for also serving me so well."
With that, Starscream places a hand on a medical table. "And you have served me well, Spinister. I trust that should the need arise... I can count on my Mayhems to remain loyal."
