(Semi-private. Please ask before joining. Day 15.)
For the past several days, the door to Hook's lab has been locked. Not that this stops certain determined people from coming and going whenever they felt like it (Mixmaster).
Behind that locked door, Hook has taken off the walls surrounding his door as well as the floor in front of him. Modifications have been made that are not on the official plans. Not that the official plans have any relation to reality once Constructicons are turned loose in an environment.
Now Hook has unlocked his door once again, and he is replacing the last bit of paneling over the walls.

After leaving his rather productive talk with Mixmaster, Shockwave decides that he might as well go for a matched set of frustrated Constructicons. After all, he needs to speak with Hook, and more candidly, perhaps, than with Mixmaster.
Perhaps. Hook is, unfortunately, not so predicable as Shockwave would like. Which, while pleasant at times, is also quite vexing.
He comes to the door of Hook's lab, so often locked of late. The door is closed, no surprise there. Shockwave considers a moment and then decides that, given the topics which must be broached, discretion is the better part of valor here. Instead of simply trying the door, he knocks.

"The door's unlocked," Hook calls out as he steps back to survey his new walls.

"And should I take that as invitation to enter then?" Shockwave responds, a bit dryly. He could, but right now, he'd rather not give Hook any excuse to kvetch.

Speak of the devil.
Hook smirks, and he sounds far too self-satisfied when he speaks. "You certainly should."

Hook does sound rather self-satisfied, and that gives Shockwave slight pause. But only slight.
So enter Shockwave does, albeit slowly and with some caution. But most likely, not nearly cautious enough.

There is a buzzing hum as the doorway scans Shockwave, compares his profile with the ones provided by Hook, and successfully identifies the purple gun'former as Shockwave.
"Unauthorized entrance by user Shockwave."
Concealed stunners pop open over the door and tap Shockwave, hard enough to lock systems but not hard enough to offline. Hopefully. Hook had to guesstimate on the energy output there.
Then the bindings shoot out, making to grab Shockwave by each limb and hoist him spread-eagle in the air. If that succeeds, a cap is applied to his gun-hand.
Once all of that is done, a light green mist is spritzed over Shockwave, leaving him mottled in Constructicon-green.
"Oops," Hook says in amusement. "I do believe I forgot to authorize you."

Abuse of Shockwave done with player-permission.

This? This is not Shockwave's happy face.
Not that anyone can actually tell that by looking, of course.
He hangs there (because he has no choice), looking at Hook through a fine mist of green. Perhaps Shockwave's mood is worsened because the sprayers did not miss his optic. And perhaps it would not have mattered if they had.
"Are. You. Quite. Finished?" Why yes, Hook, that is anger in Shockwave's tone. Enjoy it, if you are brave enough.

"It depends. Are you going to wander in uninvited and meddle where you are unwanted ever again?" Hook is not quite brave enough, though he'll never admit it, to remain amused in the face of Shockwave's anger.
He is, however, proud enough and stubborn enough to be angry right back.

"You refer to my assistance with Hellbender?" It is the most recent incident that fits Hook's accusation which comes to mind. "That was not meddling, and well you know it."
Voice clipped, he orders, "Let me down from here, Hook. Now."

"Yes, I do refer to that. You are not a Construction. You do not get waivers from basic engineering courtesy." Hook looks up at Shockwave, hands on his hips.

"I am not a Constructicon, true, but I am your superior here, Hook. Hellbender is mine; I do not need your permission to work upon him when he is laid open."
Shockwave tries to move his arm. Systems protest, but they do manage to unlock just a fraction. Not enough, however, to do much good at the moment.

"He was in my lab. Not yours, not the common ones. You do need permission to enter my lab. I know you seem to believe that little things like rank structure actually mean anything. Well, you do when they apply to you. You seem to disbelieve in rank structure fairly freely when it applies to other people."
Hook pauses to tap a button on one of his counters. A fine yellow spray adds itself to Shockwave.
"Shockingly, you can't just do whatever you please without facing some consequences. Especially since you are 'my superior'."

"Hrm."
Much as it galls Shockwave to admit it, Hook has a point. Not that Shockwave intends to say as much.
"I did not use your tools, and precious little of the materials you had assembled. I even augmented them," he points out, voice still clipped. His headfins twitch as he gets another paint shower. "What galls you most, Hook? That entered your lab, or that I worked on your patient?"
