"So would I," she replies, beaming up at Jetfire. "Maybe later, when you return from your patrol? Perhaps you might be willing to teach me some combat moves? It feels like everyone here is so much better at that than I am, and I don't want to be a liability."
"Yes, sir. That's Holi," she answers Springer. "We're Micromasters from the planet Micro. And yes, he is. He takes very good care of his Patrol. And Jan, the human boy that the Commander adopted." And herself, too, but she's not going to mention that to Springer. He might tell Holi!

Jetfire-in-name-only this alternate name-double may be, not having a Jetstorm is all kinds of wrong. Every Jetfire should have one.
At another time, he would probably be paying curious attention to Springer and Clipper's conversation about Holi, but at the moment he's having difficulty concentrating on anything not directed at him in favor of silently pining. ...Then again, even if he were in a better mood he might still find his mind drifting off to frivolous things, like how many loops he could fly in a row without getting dizzy...
Distracted, he jolts slightly when Springer pats him on the shoulder. "I would be liking that, sir." If he has to be alone, he can at least not be alone-alone when possible.
Clipper's suggestion to coach her in combat later really perks the jet up. "Ah! I can to teaching you the way of the cyber-ninja!" He shows off with a few chops and punches. "Metallikato!" He spins into a couple flashy kicks. "Circuit-su!" No, he does not actually qualify as a cyber-ninja, why do you ask?

Springer smirks a bit. "I could help with the combat. You could say that I might know a small thing or two about it."
Seek ye not humility here, for it shall not be found.
Then he chuckles at Jetfire. "Like I said, you can call me Springer if you want. Never been big on professional terms."
Then Jetfire shows off, and Springer goes slackjaw a moment. "...Jetfire, you ever hear of a Decepticon named Bludgeon where you come from?"

Clipper's optics widen with appreciation and awe as she watches Jetfire skip through some moves. She doesn't know the difference, never having met a true cyber-ninja before, and so they look pretty darned convincing and awesome to her.
"Ooooo! I would like that very much!" she exclaims, clapping her hands and nodding. How perfect is this? She can try and keep Jetfire cheered up, and he can teach her such cool combat! "That's incredible!"
Yes, she is quite impressed with Jetfire's display.
And then Springer offers to help, too, and now, she's beaming with excitement, and maybe a little hazy awe as her gaze flits between the two. To think that two such accomplished warriors would take the time to teach her!
"Oh, yes! Please! I... Yes! Would you really?" she asks, hands clasped together over her chest as she stares pleadingly up at them both.

Jetfire poses smugly at Springer and Clipper's reactions to his showing off. It's not one-upping Jetstorm, but impressing people by himself is still fun. His pleased grin switches to a contemplative look at Springer's question, one hand rubbing at his chin.
"Bludgeon, Bludgeon..." Finally he shrugs. "Is not making bells to ring, Springer, si-, ah, Springer."
Oh, Jetfire would be positively inflating with pride and ego if he could read Clipper's processors. Accomplished warrior, indeed. As it is, his ego is not exactly shriveling. He flashes Clipper a wider grin, giving her another thumbs-up, "Definitely really!" This time his cheer is much more genuine.

"Only one I know of in my home reality that knows any combat disciplines like that would be him, and he's generally Bad News. Differences of reality, I guess." He shrugs, then looks down at Clipper with a grin. "I'm a little more weapon-oriented compared to our friend here, but I can give you some pointers on use of cover and such. And yes, I certainly can." he says, adding the last bit on with a thumbs up like Jetfire did.

"Thank you very much!" Clipper exclaims to them both, effusing grateful awe. "I would really like that! I just don't want to be a burden upon anyone..."
"And," she adds, ducking her head to peer up at them shyly from under the edge of her brow ridge, "it's really quite generous and gallant for you to do that."
"But I'm delaying you now! Oh, I'm sorry!" she chirrups, stepping to one side out of their way. "I should let you warriors get to your duties now, before anyone complains. Please, be careful!"

"We are being taught by Jazz, sir," Jetfire tells Springer. "He is very skilled cyber-ninja!"
Generous and gallant? Oh watch him puff up with pride. "Is being no problem!" he says nonchalantly. "I am happy to help out little bot who is wanting to learn."
His ego quickly deflates as Clipper reminds him of his orders, snapping to attention once more. "Yes! Duty!" He looks over at Springer. "We are going now?"

Springer boggles a bit. "Jazz? A cyber-ninja? You gotta be kidding me..." he answers, shaking his head. Next thing you know, he'll be telling Springer that he trained with the same guy Jazz did!
"Like I said, Clipper, no problem. We Autobots gotta stick together and all that." Then Jetfire asks about going, and Springer nods. "Yeah, c'mon. Let's show you around this little mudball!" he says, reaching back with one hand, and giving Jetfire a good, hearty, manly smack on the back. Might even cause him to stumble!
With that, he turns and heads back the way out that he was originally going, assuming Jetfire will follow.

"I am not kidding you! He is very good." Jetfire scratches his chin in consideration. "But is sometimes being hard to understand."
He let's out a small 'oof!', jerking forward a step at Springer's good old 'pat' on the back. Rubbing his back slightly, he follows the Wrecker, turning back slightly to wave enthusiastically at Clipper. "It was good meeting you! Be seeing you again soon, I hope!"
But now, it is time to patrol!

"Likewise!" Clipper calls, returning that enthusiastic wave with one of her own as the pair retreat back down the tunnels.
Wow! Training with Jetfire and the leader of the Wreckers! Won't Holi be so proud of her initiative?
