Day 15.
Semi-private, ask before joining.
It's not easy being King, as Starscream is learning. Currently he is taking some of his day-to-day frustrations out on the training room's drone. It's set at a very high setting, enough for Starscream to have to push a little, but not enough to offer a true challenge. This is more about venting than taking a beating.
Currently he is ducking and weaving in the sky as he fires laser blast after laser blast. The drone is taking a real virtual beating.

Shockwave may have gotten his anger under control after his encounter with Hook's new security system, but that does not mean Shockwave's anger actually cooled. For that reason, after leaving the Constructicon, he headed to the training area, fully intending to take out some frustrations in private.
Instead, he finds the room already occupied. By Starscream. Perhaps this day is actually looking up.
Shockwave takes careful aim, then fires what should be a debilitating shot to the drone. As he lifts into the air, Shockwave calls, "Venting aggression? I could use such an outlet, myself. If you are amiable."
Starscream should note that Shockwave is no longer merely purple. He is coated in a myriad of color sprays, including a very distinctive green, some sparkly colors, and a rather fine shade of baby blue.

Shockwave has shot Starscream's drone. How annoying. Starscream turns to snark at Shockwave, however he is dumbstruck at the technicolour monstrosity standing in front of him.
If bending over in uncontrollable laughter is an answer to a sparring request in the affirmative, then Starscream has just given Shockwave permission to shoot him.

Was that a yes? Shockwave is pretty sure he heard a yes amongst the cackling.
"A word of advice. Do not enter Hook's lab without announcing yourself first." Shockwave fires at the laughing Starscream, hoping to take out a antigrav and bring him to ground. "Even if the door is open."

Brilliant strategy, Shockwave. Make Starscream laugh all the more so that he is even more distracted. The shot hits his leg, but doesn't short out the antigrav so easily.
"So I see." Starscream finally manages to say as he makes his escape from further laser fire. He points both arms at Shockwave, strafing the ground and hopefully keeping Shockwave at a distance.

Hrm. Shockwave may have to visit Hook again, if this...diversion proves unsatisfactory. Every laugh of Starscream's is just fanning Shockwave's annoyance with the crane. However, he doubts Starscream will disappoint.
Shockwave rises higher in the air to avoid the worst of the strafing run. A few shots do hit, though, as the gunformer moves closer despite the danger.
Not too close, though. He does not have to be close to be a threat. For that matter he does not have to even fire a shot.
He transforms and fires a burst of blinding light, a la Sunbeam, lighting up the area and hopefully damaging and rendering Starscream's optics inoperable for several seconds.
Command of the electromagnetic spectrum is such a handy thing.

Ow. Okay, the laughing is stopping now. Starscream barely got a chance to shield his optics. He's blind for the next moment, and he fires blindly where Shockwave was firing from, and everywhere around that place to boot. What else can he do?

No more laughing? Good. That was the idea. Shockwave hates being ridiculed.
One shot scores a painful furrow along his barrel, while another punches partially through his hilt before Shockwave can transform. He tumbles off to one side, tucking his appendages in close so as to present a smaller target.
Oddly enough, he does not press his advantage. While Shockwave was able to review the Capture the Flag tapes, this is the gunformer's first real experience with how this Starscream fights. It is a chance for study in a low-risk setting.
Well, lower-risk, anyway.
"Not so amusing now, am I, Air Commander?"

"I wouldn't say that," Starscream says as his vision returns, "I can see you again, after all." Not laughing, no, but definitely smirking, and highly amused.
Wait, why is Shockwave cowering all the way over there? Strength is definitely on Shockwave's side, why didn't he close the distance? Or at the very least, continue shooting? Something is up.
He follows up with a pair of laser blasts from his weapons.

"Hmph. Do not tempt me to to end this too early, Starscream. I have entirely too much frustration to work out at the moment."
Shockwave ducks and weaves, managing to avoid this round of fire from Starscream. Neither one of them is bringing their full array to bear; perhaps Starscream is also feeling Shockwave's combat style out as well?
Another transform, and this time Shockwave fires two higher-powered blasts, another attempt to knock Starscream from the air.

Starscream is confused as to Shockwave's logic. He shows up with more colours than a rainbow on a pony's rear haunch and doesn't expect Starscream to be amused.
"Oh, you're welcome to, if you can." Oh I'm sorry, is Starscream not proving to be terribly therapeutic?
The first blast is enough to do exactly what Shockwave wanted, catching him square in the chest and leaving his torso discoloured. It is powerful enough to knock him to the ground. Starscream fires once more on Shockwave's barrel, this time with much more precision as he tries to aim for the area he previously blasted.

Starscream scores the precison hit, and the sudden pain lancing through Shockwave's systems is enough to force a transform back to robot mode. He drops rapidly down toward Starscream, firing his canon at the Decepticon Commander.
With luck, Shockwave will come down right on top of the annoying Seeker. One can only hope.

Starscream had hoped that his shot would have bought him time to get back up--no such luck. Instead he can only launch himself away from the blast, but that gave him no chance to avoid Shockwave's descent. He launches his feet up in an attempt to catch the falling Shockwave, with the intent of launching him away immediately.

Shockwave takes that kick, getting knocked back and tumbling heels over head. He hits the ground in a long slide, one leg bent at knee, the other stretched behind him. His hand digs into the floor to slow his slide.
All the while he tries to keep tabs on Starscream. Where has the sneaky Seeker gone while Shockwave's attention was elsewhere?

Where's the tricksy little seekerses gone? Not too far. That ploy was purely to buy time to get himself upright. Engaging in melee with Shockwave was not something he was interested in doing. He fires scattershot with his lasers, hopefully covering himself enough to take to the skies once more.
