Once Clipper exits, Mirage transforms.
With a sweeping bow, he says, "And now that you have been reunited, dear lady, I will leave you and Holi to catch up." With that, the spy heads toward the tunnel entrance. He's been running flat out ever since Swerve's capture, and what little rest he's had has been far from healing. Time to crash.
He does, however, make a point in walking too-near Grimlock and hissing quietly, "Leave them be, you oblivious oaf." Hopefully, Mirage can make it into the tunnel before Grimlock can retaliate. If not, well, the snobbish spy may have more than just bruised pride.
Grimmy has permission to lunge at/ grab Mirage. If he doesn't or he misses, Mirage will be out of thread.

Clipper breaks off from pretending to ignore Holi looking around to gift first Tracks, and then Mirage with a radiant, grateful smile.
"Thank you very much, Tracks, Mirage. You were both ever so brave and gallant," she effuses. "I'm very sorry to have been so much bother to you both. And to Override. Perhaps I will be able to repay you all someday."
She would go on, but she is suddenly quite acutely aware of a large dinosaur head looming not far off. Not to mention a certain Captain of the Rescue Patrol, who, she notes with some carefully-concealed alarm, seems rather... battered.
"Oh, Holi," she sighs, managing to modulate the concern in her voice into an approximation of exasperation. Hands on hips as she looks him up and down, she shakes her head. "What have you managed to get yourself into now?" Nevermind that she's almost as bad, though less "dingy" than just scuffed. Hopefully he won't notice that any more than she's noticed Mirage's hissed remark to Grimlock.

There are all sorts of things Holi planned to say once Clipper arrived. He had apologies and explanations outlined, he had questions to ask. All of them seem to evaporate once he slides off Grimlock's nose and his feet touch the ground because she's right there. It really is her, and Holi's anxious look dissolves into a smile fit to crack his face in half. He can't even remember to worry about looking professional or collected or cool. It doesn't matter.
"Clipper!" he cries, hurrying through those few steps it takes to reach her and scoop her up in a fierce hug. It's her and she's worried about him and she isn't mad and all he can do is hold her tight and laugh as he lifts her right off her feet and swings her around because she's here.

Okay, Holi's down, gettin' his hug-thang on, and Tracks is gone. There's some kind of vaguely creepy crawly metal thing going around the area, but Grimlock pays it no mind, slowly raising back up.
He was going to go away, really. Maybe. He could play majestic steed for the pair!
But, Mirage has to open his mouth. That draws Grimlock's attention and ire rather quickly, and he turns on the spy, snarling. "Me Grimlock no oblivious, and me Grimlock no oaf, and me Grimlock definitely no take orders from you!" he growls back, following after Mirage, growling and chomping at the racer.

Mirage's preemptive hurrying manages to keep him from getting Dino-rabies. However, no amount of speed can save him from the hot fire that suddenly toasts his aft. He literally leaps the last few feet into the safety of the tunnel.
"Gah, my paint! You barbaric, idiotic monstrosity! At least my Grimlock can tell the difference between an order and a suggestion!" Mirage shouts back before switching invisible. Call him coward if you will, but he is in no mood for a Dinobot mauling. He swiftly moves into the tunnel proper and out of sight, possibly with a Grimlock chasing him.
Here's hoping Grimlock's olfactory sensors are not as good as the mechadragon's.

From another direction, there is a rough rustling in the undergrowth and trees, and the familiar tread of large feet - someone else is approaching. Someone who is still shielded by the vegetation and shadows, and a bit of a distance off. Far enough off that distracted Micromasters would easily be able to miss noticing him.
Well, perhaps not totally when he suddenly yelps in surprise, and then tumbles to the ground as something very long, snake-like, with hundreds, if not thousands, of tiny legs, and boring heads like those of the Decepticon's mining worm suddenly swarms its way up his legs with a chittering chirr and settles about his torso like... well, rather like a Morphobot tentacle.
// Tracks? // Perceptor transmits to the Autobot Broadband, and his voice is a mix of surprise and curiosity. // I hope that the "newcomer" of which you spoke has been sucessfully removed from your exterior and is now seeking a new... companion? And that it resembles a mechanical hybridization of a Terran Millipede and the Decepticon's mining creature? //
ooc: Perc posting in only to collect the critter, and is far enough away from Holi and Clipper that they can easily ignore his presence altogether. He is also very, very skippable. Also, radio traffic cross-posted to Autobot BB.

Any doubts which Clipper may have been harboring about Holi's potential involvement with any strange, new mechs evaporate into thin air as Clipper sees that radiant smile, and then suddenly finds herself hoisted into the air. She squeaks, surprised, as she is summarily lifted off her feet and twirled about, and just automatically clutches at his shoulders - for balance, of course - and forgets herself, returning that smile with one of her own. Oh, how nice it feels to get such a hug from her Holi!
Her joy, however, is cut with some concern; even when he had been away from Micro for all those long times on missions with his Rescue Patrol, he had never greeted her so exuberantly upon a return as this!
Shouting and the roar of fire reminds her that they are not alone, though. "Holi!" she scolds, lightly smacking his shoulders with her open hands as she schools that grin into a mild expression of exasperation. "Put me down! What do you think you are doing? Have you been here long enough to forget what manners are?"

Holi doesn't much mind the racket behind them – he has learned that Mirage is very good at taking care of himself and Grimlock isn't so bad – but he makes a face at Clipper's demands about manners. No, he isn't pouting. Mostly.
"I haven't forgotten!" he protests, lower lip jutting out. She's being stuck-up again! "I was just giving you a hug!" He does – very reluctantly – ease Clipper back down so she can stand on her own, but he can't quite bear to let go just yet. He has to look at her for a bit. To make sure she's okay. That's what a good captain does, after all, and though she looks scuffed up and her leg is battered, she seems okay overall. And she's here and there aren't any piping voices giggling at him from one side and mocking him for being so happy to see her again.

Grimlock follows after Mirage - at least, the direction Mirage was heading, occasionally blasting more bursts of fire, to try and flush the spy out of cloak.
"Me Grimlock not monstrosity! Me Grimlock KING!" he bellows, thundering off, trying to find Mirage. ---------- OOC: Out of thread, unless stopped.

Holi pouts so adorably. Really he does. It's hard for Clipper to keep that grin threatening to escape safely hidden under her wry exasperation as her feet touch down once again. She doesn't shake off his hands, though.
"Oh, really?" she asks. "You didn't even remember to say thank you to Tracks or Mirage for bringing me back, and that after they so bravely tisked their lives facing those awful Destrons."
Which really is odd for Holi. That... makes her unbelievably happy, actually.

"I didn't forget!" Holi carries on desperately. He worries himself halfway sick over Clipper, slips up on being a proper leader and hugs her after fussing at Grimlock – Grimlock could have squished him – and he thought she was as happy to see him as he is her, but all she does is get on his case! Didn't they just do this right after he got back to Micro? It's almost enough to make a fellow cry.
Which Holi is trying very, very hard not to do. It's uncool and unmanly and totally not what a proper soldier does, especially not over a girlfriend who's being an awful snob.
"But I thought I'd greet you first!" he says, letting go of Clipper to make a pleading, apologetic gesture with palms up at waist level. Was it the wrong priority after all? It was, wasn't it.

She was only teasing; she hadn't meant to upset him like this - and, yes, she can tell he is upset, really upset and not just worked up. She's a girl. Girls notice these things.
"Oh, Holi," she exclaims softly, pulling him into a tight hug now, and clinging. "I was worried, too!"
Until she'd known for certain that he hadn't really been there, and then she'd been disappointed that he hadn't been there to see her and help her, but she'd also been so relieved that he hadn't gotten hurt like the others, and...
Wait. It suddenly hits her why, exactly why, everything seems so strange: there's no one clustered nearby, snickering and giggling at him. His Patrol isn't here. They would never pass up an opportunity to see him so flustered, so if they aren't here... They aren't here at all, are they? Holi... has been all alone here?
He'd spoken of his Supreme Commander here, which means that he's been here long enough to be settled into their chain of command... so that has to have been a little while, at least. Without his Patrol.
Holi's never alone! Even when his Patrol isn't pestering him, he's always had Jan to look out for, but Jan isn't here teasing him, either. Oh. OH! No wonder he's so upset! And she's just making it worse now when all he'd wanted to do was make sure she was safe, and maybe see a friendly face, and make sure she got to see a friendly face, and, and, and...
"Oh, Holi!" She hugs him even tighter now, sniffling a little, herself. "I was so scared, until you started talking to me! I don't know what I would have done, if you hadn't!"

Clipper is hugging him. Clipper is hugging Holi. If he wasn't so upset, he might laugh abashedly at the turnabout. All he does instead is cling and he tries so hard not to cry it makes him shake.
"I missed you," he confesses, almost a sob, muffled against the side of her neck. He's missed everyone, really. He isn't alone here, not by a long shot; there's Emirate Xaaron, Kup, Grimlock, Omega Supreme, the doctor even if he isn't the doctor, Wheelie and Goldbug and everyone else, who've all become his comrades and friends. But surely they'd understand that as much as he respects and looks up to them all and is proud to be counted among them, it isn't quite the same as a familiar face. Oh, he hopes they do.

For once, Clipper isn't going to fuss at him about that hug. Nor is she going to push him away; she'll just keep right on hugging him until he is ready to break the hug. For his benefit, of course.
"But I just saw you this morning, Holi," she teases gently. Well, at least if they are both here, they can still have that date he promised to take her on, and she won't be standing him up, after all.
Oh, this is all just so strange. She just saw him this morning, but he's been here a while, and where is here, anyway? She doesn't see any sort of base or anything. Just trees and forest. The others, though, they wandered off into the trees as if they knew where they were going, so there has to be something here, somewhere; she just can't see it.
She keeps coming back to the time thing, though. "How long have you been here, Holi?" she asks, resting her cheek against the side of his head. How long have you been separated from home and Patrol? How long has it been that you've had to make friends with strangers to keep from being alone?
Where is home?

It takes Holi a few seconds to get himself sorted out so he can loosen his hold on Clipper and step back. He does his level best not to look embarrassed with himself for almost crying and only partly succeeds.
"A long while," he answers, checking his internal clock. "Months. I…." He pauses to fidget. "I was supposed to meet you tomorrow. Er. Tomorrow from the day I woke up here. I thought you'd be upset when I didn't show up on time," and his voice drops to a mumble as he looks at his feet.
