Once Bluestreak's optics no longer feel like someone's gouging them out with a rusted prybar, he performs a reboot and looks around. Colors are still slightly off, but that could just be from the glow of flames still bathing the city. If he ever gets his hands on that Nebulun, he swears he'll grind him into the ground.
He looks up at Pee-Dee... and makes a disgusted face as he sees what she's done to herself. He likes her attitude and fighting style, but her Junkion traits tend to turn his fuel tanks.

The dark is nice.
The dark is a welcome and cool friend to those who fall willingly into the cold embrace of night.
Jazz uses the dimness to recover before continuing the mapping journey. The three here can take care of each other in that silly way that reminds the silver being of Decepticons.
Caring.
Jazz certainly does not care. The only thing that matters right now is the task, and staying alive long enough to go back to a universe where Optimus Prime stands over the body of his lieutenant-adjunct.... One day...
One day, Jazz will kill him.
But for now the Solstice-formed Autobot pulls out of the dark alley and to the streets once again, silence the only companion desired while Jazz looks for that which will bring home just a little closer than before.

Mmm. Somedays, Nightbeat was an even better girl's best friend than diamonds were.
Pee-Dee smiles down at him, then digs a pair of fingers into her empty eye-sockets to feel around for some of the parts she'd stashed behind her face. She knew she had extra optic bits in here somewhere... Ah, there!
Shortly, the Junkion has a new set of optics, and she jumps back down to the street-level. Both ankles snap and one of her knees creak dangerously, but she just reattaches the bits and gives the side of her knee a good thump.
"You know if you go speeding after Synapse, I might have to write you a ticket." She smiles teasingly at the gangster as Rodimus Prime demands a sitrep from him.

Nightbeat gives her a cocky grin. "You'd have to catch me first, copper."

Bluestreak just looks back and forth from Pee-Dee to Nightbeat, looking just the slightest bit irritated after hearing the broadband order. Nightbeat got to have all the fun...

"That's what clotheslines are for." She mimes sticking her arm out to let someone run headlong into it and take a tumble.

Nightbeat laughs and brushes his fingers against her face. "Always knew you liked it rough."

Okay, you two, that was TMI for Bluestreak...
He finally deigns to speak again, his voice low and disdainful: "Get a room."

"I have one. With Long Haul." Pee-Dee smiles brightly at Bluestreak, and if she purrs the Constructibot's name just a bit too much... Well, everyone knows she has Nightbeat and he has Omega Supreme. Nothing is going on in there besides recharge, and her locking him and Rattrap out when Nightbeat comes to visit.
Still, she likes pulling people's legs.

Bleah. Bluestreak doesn't really care for this gushy stuff. He looks around with marked impatience, wondering when the next orders will come in. This random destruction is starting to get boring -- he wants a target.

The jets have flittered off thataway, Prime hasn't given Nightbeat any orders, and Pee-Dee is starting to get bored of random destruction. She had never found it as enthralling as some of her brethren had. Useful, sure. Property crimes were always an opportunity for some extortion or bribery.
But, she'd found that the basic shiny-factor of explosions and violent fires wore off without a plot to make them dangerous to someone. Since the whole point of this episode was to be destructive but not endanger themselves, why bother playing?
"I'm going to go see if Kup has wandered through yet," she announces.

Frankly, random destruction isn't Nightbeat's bag either. Torture, a good shoot-out, even a bar room brawl, now that's up his ally. It really burns his cannolis, so to speak.
"Think I'll join you. This is startin' to get boring."

There is something lurking in the area, something unafraid of the flames that so spook the local wildlife, something watching with predatory intent. There is nothing to see here, move along, and yet perhaps there is the faint, so faint as to it would take a turbofox to scent it, smell of fresh solder, the reek of battle and the slapdash repairs that follow. Perhaps there is a pebble awry, moved not by vibrations from falling burning timbers but seemingly of its own accord. Maybe there is a distortion in the dark, a shadow falling the wrong way, cast long and dancing like a demon by the flickering flames. There is nothing here but a ghost, but perhaps the gangster who could have been Cybertron's finest detective if only Chance's dice had fallen differently is yet up for some ghostbusting.
Autobots burning a city. This is madness. Madness? This is Slaughter City. Slaughter City was based on reality, for all that it was just a simulation to scare trainees. There are violent, cruel Autobots. However, to see so many of them en mass and not answering to "The Wreckers" or "The Survivors" is mindboggling. Spinister doesn't let it distract him from exploring the burning city. He keeps behind cover as best he can, but with his cover going up in smoke, he does have his cloak up, just in case he slips. By the time Spinister got there, Duskwing had been stolen away. Investigating the burning city is going to be Duskwing's best chance for either rescue or mercy, whichever Spinister deems the more prudent choice at the time. Now what’s up with these three Autobots? That accent doesn't seem right for Nightbeat...

For his part, Bluestreak's wondering where all the Decepticons are. Surely the wanton destruction of a city, even an abandoned one, would warrant them coming in droves to stop them! He can't believe only a few fliers have been sent out...
He cradles his rifle and begins to wander around, wondering if perhaps anyone is lurking in the flames. He doesn't see Spinister -- the fuschia Mayhem's being stealth, after all -- so he isn't aware that he's slowly but steadily getting closer...
