Synapse twists beneath the restraints, voice and momentary bravado waning as those fingers remind of the hold these Decepticons have over him. Such an easy hold it is. "J-Just those of us who follow his bidding."
No, there will be no sparing of Prime's anger if the Autobots ever get a hold of him again. Synapse is expecting nothing more than a slow and painful death. He just prefers to be thrown in the brig as soon as possible and forgotten. Synapse does not yet suspect an exchange of prisoners being parleyed between the two factions.
At Shockwave's warning, the scout grimaces and buckles. "There--There is Pee-Dee and Nightbeat, Bluestreak as well as Skyfire and his pet. Our fliers are mostly present and Jazz may have come...Bumblebee too." Anyone whose name he might not mention, it is no longer as a sort of resistance.
"No more..." An ending to his list of names or a plead to an end to this questioning, his words can work either way.

Miraculously, Scourge resisted the urge to hum joyously on his way to the lab. Best not to display too much glee, especially before knowing exactly what he was going to be working on.
The lab door slides open and in steps the locust. Automatic doors are so useful-it would be a wee bit difficult for Scourge to open a door designed for much larger beings otherwise. He takes a few bouncing steps into the lab, observing the current situation. Scourge had expected Shockwave- it was his lab, after all- and Starscream, the source of the order, to be there, but the other Scourge was a suprise. No matter. The captive gets no more than glance, for now. Scourge expects he'll likely get a closer look soon.
"You called, commander?" Scourge makes his presence known.

Starscream grunted in thought. "Some of those names are known to be here, at least." Though whether or not that could mean anything remains to be seen.
And then, Scourge shows up. Well, the Scourge that wasn't already here. Blasted multiple iterations of the same character. Starscream did that first, and at least the one that wasn't the 'real' Starscream had the good graces to show up dead.
"Ah yes, here is the medical assistant I sent for, to help you out with your repairs, Shockwave." He shot a look at Scourge, hopefully indicating that correcting Starscream on this would be a Bad Idea.
Starscream turned and Synapse. "They'll both be repairing you shortly. But for now, one last question, Autobot. What of the Emirate Xaaron of your world? What is he like?" Starscream has heard much of this one from his own reality. Having one on his side is something he'll have to watch out for.

Shockwave does not acknowledge the Predacon's entrance in any visible way, that after Starscream's comment, he does radio the bug:// Do not touch anything without my leave.//
"As you like. Are we required to return him to an unspoiled state, or simply make him functional?" Shockwave spares another glance at the monitor. Ah, looks like the last firewall is about to give. Excellent.
He stands and crosses over to Synapse, that damaged node cradled in his arm. "Or perhaps we can let Synapse here decide that." His hand comes up and his fingers glide over the wound in Synapse's cheek, almost a caress before he tilts Synapse's head back roughly, "What would your Prime prefer, minibot? Damaged, or unspoiled goods?" He lets Synapse's chin drop.
Starscream asks his question, and Shockwave finds he is just as interested in the answer. He does add, "We have reports of one matching Mirage's description, but you did not mention him. Information on him would be...appreciated."

"Emirate Xaaron?" At this name, Synapse still manages to muster a wry snort. "He is as good as dead. Prime was not pleased that he managed to escape us. Especially since he took the constable along with him."
Shockwave's touch has the scout shying back, but there's no where to go. With gritted teeth he suffers the contact, a slightly choked sound jumping out of his throat as he's jerked up.
"Mirage? He is the Prime's hunter and--" So caught up in realizing that he had forgotten to tell his captors someone, Synapse comes to an abrupt halt as he processes the questions before. "R-Return?! You - I answered your questions! Th-this--"
Synapse is shaking like a live-wire and as rigid as a pole. What did he do? What didn't he do? "Oh no, nononono..." his whimpered protest accompanied with a shake of his head. Prime is going to kill him. These Decepticons are going to kill him. For Cybertron's sake, what did he do to deserve this?

Scourge gets the message from Starscream. So, he was doing this covertly. Iiiiinteresting.
A quick reply to Shockwave. //Of course. It's your lab, not mine.// Scourge does not want to upset the large purple robot. Not at all. That would not be pleasant. Not at all.
Interrogations were never Scourge's favorite thing. The need to keep the subject function and able to answer questions made it difficult to employ his favorite pets quite properly. But, he wasn't here to interrogate anyway. He was here to use some weebeasties. "I'm ready for whatever you need, commanders."

Starscream sighed. At the mention of Rodimus' coming, Synapse turned into a gibbering wreck. "Time's up. The Prime is en-route. Time to get fixed." Starscream drew up his arm-mounted rifle and blasted Synapse, point blank, with his null ray at a high charge. Painful as anything but nothing that a good reboot won't repair. "Lucky for you, we still have time to anesthetize."
He turned to Shockwave. "That will keep him out of it long enough for your repairs and 'alterations'. Scourge..." Starscream turned to the insectoid Scourge, but notices the black behemoth that is now his spy division's head. "Uh... Little Scourge. I need something that will affect mechanoids, ideally with a wide area-of-effect. Something out of the norm, that scientists from our era might not expect. What can you suggest?"
Synapse3 Null-Rayed without permission because I'm a dick. Nah, just kidding, I got Synapse's OK.

"Such a pity," Shockwave murmurs, though it is unclear if his referring to Starscream's choice of anesthetic, or at having to return Synapse to his owner. Shockwave then sets about carefully removing the pins from the minibot's joints, disconnecting the monitor feed (at least he got some information before Starscream shut Synpase down) then disengaged the restraints, carrying Synapse over to an empty table. "Repairing the body will go quickly. Repairing his sensor nodes will be what takes time. "
Shockwave glances over at the Predacon as he sets to work on Synapse, "Something to add to those requirements would be that whatever you suggest must be something for which you possess an antidote, and preferably something we can inoculate our own troops against or create a programming patch that would render your pets inert. We do not want to handicap our own forces as well."
To the other Scourge he radios: //I suggest you leave with Starscream. We can continue our discussion at a later time.//
And to Starscream://What exactly have you parleyed for, Starscream?//
A pause, as Spinister's radio silence is noted, then Shockwave continues: //I suggest you contact Needlenose, if you haven't already. Spinister almost certainly was in contact with his partner, all things considered, and Needlenose is loyal. You do not want him upsetting your truce.//

Scourge replies, //As you wish, sir.//He stands and inquires verbally, "Intelligence will have access to some of those results, sir?" Scourge gestures to Synapse. Yes, he just said 'some'. Shockwave can censor the data if he wants. Even if he doesn't, Scourge will assume that he did. They wouldn't be Predacons and Decepticons if they didn't make power-plays that inherently short-change some of the troops and reduce their overall efficiency as a group.
He moves to leave, pausing at the door for an answer and to salute on the way out. All things considered, Scourge is going to head to medical. He wants to check on Fleetwind, and he needs to talk to Hook.
If Shockwave answers, assume Scourge is out of the thread.

Scourge grins widely behind his grinning faceplate. It really is an apt design for a faceplate. He does grin a lot.
"Let's see here... I can produce antidotes for most anything I've finished, no problem. Now, we need to affect mechanoids and any partial organics they might have-can never be too sure..." He trails off as he cycles through his rather large number of files on various creations. "No, not that... No, that's organics only... No, that one needs more work... Aha!" Scourge pauses briefly, reviewing the specs once again. "This should do. It's a small bacterium with a two-stage effect. First, it spreads and infects, like a normal disease. At this point, it's harmless. In fact, it rather strongly resembles my own immunity systems-can be passed off as beneficial. Anyway, it multiplies and spreads. Stage two is triggered by a radio signal-a code of some sort. I can set that when I grow the starter infection. Once the phrase is received, the bacterium migrates to the host's joints and starts producing a nice cocktail of chemicals. Long story short, the subject's servos start clogging up. It's not fatal by itself, of course, but in this situation it's effectively deadly."
Scourge leans back to look up at his superiors. "I can start producing the bacterium and an immunity booster for our troops immedietly if that sounds good. Command?"

Synapse can't see Starscream leveling his gun towards him. All he knows is that Starscream mentions that Rodimus Prime is coming and that they're going to repair and return---is that the sound of a rifle charging? They're going to kill him now?!
The world has been dark for a while now, but Synapse's consciousness is finally ripped away. Painfully. But at least everything has stopped.
OOC: And Synapse is unconscious and very skippable.

Now that Synapse is out of it, Starscream speaks freely. "Prisoner exchange, and an alliance. The two of us both have our enemies that we want to crush. With a unified front, we can accomplish this task." Of course, Starscream still is planning to wipe out Rodimus. He's a Decepticon, and this is the reality where that means something!
"And yes, Scourge, that sounds ideal. Make it happen."

Shockwave nods at Scourge's question. "Of course," he answers, then returns to working on Synpase as Scourge One leaves and Scourge Two and Starscream continue to take up space in his laboratory. As he works, Shockwave considers what he will and will not be repairing. The damage received during the scuffle with Fleetwind and Thundercracker, yes, but the damage done to Synapse's tactile network...that might remain. It would hamper Synapse's ability to attempt an escape.
"I will notify you when I have the minibot repaired to a suitable state so that he may play host to your little pets, Scourge. I assume you would prefer to work in an area you have already adjusted to suit your particular needs?"
Yes, Shockwave is subtly telling Scourge to get his aft out of his lab. Of course, Shockwave has a valid reason; time taken assisting the small Predacon with gathering supplies and setting him up to be able to work comfortably and efficiently is time better spent coaxing more data out of Synapse's unconscious mind. As for Starscream....
"When and where is this exchange taking place? Who do you wish to accompany you? And do you intend to make a more formal and informative announcement to our troops? If these Autobots are as cruel and dangerous as indicated, we would not want our people underestimating them, simply because they wear a different emblem."

Scourge nods "I'll begin production right away, then." Ahhh, a chance to do his thing. Wonderful, simply wonderful.
"Indeed, it is far better for me to use my own setup than somebody else's." Scourge probably got the hint, but it isn't entirely clear from his response. He's already going through the list of what he'll need for this project. "If nobody else needs me, I shall be off to begin biological synthesis."
---- OOC: Unless somebody else says something to him, Scourge is out of the thread.

"Outside our base, just out of the city. And soon." Starscream intoned. "And frankly, if any more Decepticons engage these Autobots after a cease-fire was called, I'd be doing myself a favour by allowing them to obliterate my unruly subordinates for me."
When Scourge leaves, Starscream's voice darkened. "And don't think for a microsecond that I've forgotten that you--" Starscream pointed an accusatory finger, "had Big Scourge smuggle a prisoner in here. What are you plotting, Shockwave?"
