Misfire nods, "Fairly new. The name is Misfire. I arrived right after your group showed up, if I understand things correctly. I'm still getting my bearings."
"I don't know what a 'mini-con' is," Misfire hasn't had a chance to peruse the database yet, "but this is Aimless." At Misfire's mental urging, Aimless hops down, transforming and landing in a graceless heap. It's not that he couldn't have landed properly- it just would have taken more effort. The Nebulan settles down cross-legged on the ground, and after another prod, looks up at Skyfire and says, "Day-um, you're a big one."
"Oh for...." Misfire sighs, rubbing his forehead "He's a Nebulan. I'm a Targetmaster."
That bit of information shouldn't be out of line to give. After all, Needlenose and Spinister are Targetmasters as well, and both of them are known to the Autobot forces. For that matter, Hot Rod had been one, and it's worth noting that if Misfire actually runs into Rodimus Prime, Misfire would recognize him. Which of course means the Prime will recognize Misfire. Unfortunately.

"Dice, like what you play craps, knucklebones, or shoot circles with?" Tell her she hasn't found that miracle of miracles - a soldier who doesn't gamble when he's bored out of his head. She walks as she talks, towards the sound of the smashing and damage. She might get distracted before she gets that far, though. "Who I'm supposed to be depends on who you ask. I'm Lucille to Bedlam, his moll to Nightbeat, the wicked step-sister to Screwdriver." --- And Pee-Dee-3 is out of thread to Beautiful In Town: Injector Shows Off.

Upon seeing the Nebulon, Thundercracker's optics light up with curiousity, and he moves forward a step to have a look. He does realize that he may be incurring Skyfire's displeasure in doing so, but even a well-behaved dog is prone to tugging at the leash to investigate new sights and scents in its vicinity.

"Never heard of 'em," the white carbot replies with a shrug. Where he's from, they go from sneaking into a new world to destabilizing it to stripping it to moving to another world to start again with little time in between. Anyone found "bored" is soon assigned duty.
"Right, right, but do you have a name?" Runamuck replies as he follows along towards the ever-fun sound of stuff breaking.

Skyfire-3 nods like he understands. "Ah, a Targetmaster. I see."
Needlenose and Spinister may be known to the Autobot forces, but life among the DZ-3 Autobots can be a cutthroat game, and one class of game pieces is information. Not everything is necessarily freely shared; not when quid pro quo is the currency of the day. Skyfire gets a lot of cooperation from Perceptor--but he also brings Perceptor new subjects and artifacts to study. Synapse unfortunately duplicated the major capability Skyfire had to trade with the Autobot Security Chief, so Skyfire gets far fewer 'freebies' from him--only intelligence that it is deemed Skyfire 'needs to know'.
Of course, the longer Synapse needs to be 'repaired' by Perceptor, the more orbital spying Skyfire can do for said Security Chief. Skyfire smirked unpleasantly; how unfortunate that Synapse had been captured and so badly damaged!
His expression returning to normal, Skyfire asked, "How much of advantage do you find the Targetmaster to be over a normal weapon? There must be a fair amount of upkeep involved." His own curiosity made him almost--but not quite--oblivious to Thundercracker's.

Misfire tilts his head to one side as he looks up at Skyfire, one corner of his mouth twitching up slightly, "It makes for an interesting lifestyle, true." Truth without extrapolation. "But as I understand it, there is a high probability that your own Prime comes from some version of my base timeline, and he-or should I say Hot Rod- was a Targetmaster as well. If you are interested in the pluses and minuses, you might talk to him."
You will have to be better at fishing than that, Skyfire. Yes, Misfire flunked out of the Academy 4,627 time, but it wasn't because he was stupid. Quite the opposite, in fact. He just couldn't hit a target if his life depended on it. At least paired with Aimless, the odds are good that at least some of those rounds will hit something and do some damage.
He gives Thundercracker another glance; Misfire wants to ask what the frag is wrong with the Seeker, but has the distinct feeling Thundercracker wouldn't- or perhaps couldn't- answer him.
"You're group's setup at <insert coordinates> in case you haven't been told. The far side of town. Now, I need to get back in the air, if there's nothing else...?"

Thundercracker watches Aimless a moment longer, then steps back in his usual position just behind and to the side of Skyfire. He has encountered Nebulans before among the Decepticons, but they still were a curiosity to him. Still, prodding at Aimless would not only be rude, but would doubtless incur discipline from Skyfire.

Skyfire frowns briefly at the brush-off from Misfire--no, he slagging well isn't going to ask personal questions of Rodimus slagging Prime! Bastard probably pulled his Targetmaster apart into spare parts for fun.
"Yes, I've been told. I'm on my way over there, and no, there's nothing else," Skyfire said curtly. "See you around."
"TC, follow!" Skyfire strode toward the Autobot camp in long, ground-eating strides.

Aimless watches Skyfire stalk off, You are aware that he's HUGE, and if he's like that Jetfire you're comparing him to right now, loaded for bear? Don't recall you ever having a death wish, bub. But really, have a heart. I didn't sign up to die you know.
He ignores Aimless for the moment. Misfire shifts position just enough to place him in the path of the captured Seeker, if Thundercracker follows Skyfire's command, and says one word. One quietly hissed word made into question by inflection, "Help?" Misfire does not expect a verbal response, but perhaps something in the Seeker's expression will give better clue.
A good little solider, after information. That Thundercracker's apparent situation galls Misfire, regardless of what differences there might be in philosophy, plays little part in that offer. After all, nothing will be done by his Decepticons; freeing your allies' slaves tends to be considered a deal breaker.
So you get his hopes up? That's just cold, but whatever.
Shut up, Aimless.
Regardless of how or if Thundercracker answers, Misfire and Aimless will transform, take to the air, and be out of thread once the Seeker is past him.

Thundercracker turns to follow Skyfire... and finds Misfire in his path. He's about to sidestep around the red mech when he speaks to him, making him freeze for a moment and his optics flash in surprise. Few aside from Skyfire deigned to speak to him, and those only to insult or taunt him.
For the merest fraction of an instant, hope flickers across his face. Help... a rescue... freedom...
Then he -- or perhaps the reprogramming -- drags his processor back to reality. Why would this mech want to help him? He's one of those other Decepticons, just as twisted and sadistic as the Autobots. Most likely he's just taunting him. Even if his offer were sincere... what can one mech do against Skyfire and his allies?
His face smooths back into its usual expression of serene obedience, and he sidesteps around Misfire and hurries after Skyfire. His master doesn't like to be kept waiting.
OOC: Following Skyfire out of thread, as usual.
