Cheetor nods to Dinobot. "Sure thing."
Then he turns to Botanica with a knowing sigh and headshake. "I imagine not - we didn't take it well either." He nods at the bit, holding a hand toward the...rather large door. "Lead the way."

"Hn, very well," Dinobot says, in a tone of voice which clearly says that he does not consider the matter closed in any way whatsoever.
"What about Rhinox is so taboo?" the raptor snarls. "Do we all meet with horrible fates?!" If it turns out everyone but Rattrap falls into a smelting pit or something, Dinobot is going to be so pissed.

There is no entry in the database on Botanica's reality. This is entirely because she has been the only member of that reality and because she feels that a lot of what happens in her time... really needs to be discussed in person with certain people. Like Silverbolt. Who is... difficult to pin down.
(And totally not because her player hates doing that kind of stuff. >_>)
She sighs, shifts uncomfortably, and looks imploringly over at Cheetor.
"I have relayed that information once all ready, but I was not actually there. Would you...?"
OOC: If we could assume at some point that unnamed background characters come to relieve folks?

Cheetor leans away from Dinobot's outburst juuust a bit, and then when Botanica gives him the look, he nods. "Well, I'll give you the details later, but... You remember when Megatron reprogrammed Rhinox as a Pred, and it backfired really badly?" He pauses for a moment. "Megatron didn't learn, apparently. Megatron managed to take over Cybertron, and make a big drone army with three leaders. One of those leaders was a reprogrammed Rhinox..." Cheetor explains, tone rather sad.

Dinobot smiles, baring his teeth. "I seem to recall Rhinox incapacitated the Predacons one by one and nearly overthrew Megatron himself. It was a glorious day."
The raptor clenches a fist and pounds it against the wall angrily when Cheetor informs him about Tankor. "Does his treachery know no bounds? Hnn . . . he wasn't always that way. He was ambitious, yes, but so was I. He had a grand vision for the Predacon people, he painted such a picture of us taking our rightful place as the just rulers of Cybertron . . ." The former Predacon pauses before continuing. "He was worth following once. Or perhaps he merely deceived me into thinking he was. I should have killed him when I had the chance . . ." he trails off, not really talking to anyone but himself.
OOC: Dinobot will angst himself out of the room to go sulk somewhere once relief comes.

Botanica reaches out to try and pat Cheetor on the shoulder. She never knew Rhinox, but she knows how much he meant to the others.
Sighing heavily at Dinobot's angry mutterings, she can't help saying, "That's the problem. We should be one society, equals, not Predecons and Maximals, no one ruling class. And in my time... we're working on that."
In short order, their relief comes. Botanica stretches and waves a hand at Dinobot. "I'll see Cheetor to medical. Have a good rest of the cycle."
Assuming Cheetor follows, she will head that way.

Once they head off for Medical, Cheetor sighs and shakes his head. "Same old Dinobot."
The hallways are quite large, though, and Cheetor finds himself looking at them for a bit before turning to Botanica. "Gonna wager we've got some Great War era guzzlers around by the size of things..."

Botanica smiles, "Yes, there are. Though let me warn that they will not appreciate your referring to them as such. Most of our company are original-scale, actually."
"And some, like me, yourself, and Claw Jaw, seem to have been... upsized somehow by the transfer between realities to be more in line with their scale. It is strange, but we have yet to find a reason for it."
She decides to take Cheetor to the biosphere for their talk. He will appreciate the work involved in it, she thinks, and currently, they would have the place to themselves.
Stepping inside and out of the way, she gives the cat a moment to take it in.

Cheetor gives Botanica a rather odd look. "That is weird, but stranger things have happened..."
Once the door opens, Cheetor steps in, and for a few moments, he's looking all around the visible area. "Whoa... This is amazing! Such a huge terrarium on a space vessel..." More looking around. "Blows that little garden we had underground way out of the water!"

"Yes, it is an impressive piece of work. All of engineering had a hand in it. We are quite proud," Botanica says, that pride coming through clearly, "A little substitute home away from substitute home for me, so to speak."
She tries to lead Cheetor over to the cultivated garden and waves at a bench, inviting the other Maximal to sit. If he does she will follow suit.
"You're welcome to explore as you like. There's a guide in the database that includes areas that might be troublesome, such as the mangrove swamp, but I doubt it would bother you over much."
Botanica sighs, "Cheetor- did Blackarachnia ever mention her findings about Thrust and Jetstorm to you? I did not arrive back on Cybertron 'til close to the end of Megatron's tyranny, so my knowledge of specifics is not clear."

Cheetor does sit on the bench - how he does so is a mystery. If this was an actual show, or a comic, the view would be a waist-up one.
"I'll have to do so once I get settled in," he answers, looking around. He can't help wondering what Optimus would think of it. He then gives Botanica a confused look. "No...what about them?"
A momentary pause as Cheetor connects the dots a bit, given the way the discussion was going in the arrival room earlier. "...they're like Tankor, aren't they?"

Sighing, Botanica answers, "Yes."
"Thrust is Waspinator, someone I never knew. Jetstorm is... Silverbolt," she says, looking down at her hands.
"The same Silverbolt that is currently on the Event Horizon. I have not told him, though command is aware. It is not exactly an easy subject to broach."
"Blackarachnia discovered it-" Botanica goes on do explain in brief the circumstances surrounding that discovery as well as the spider's... redemption of Silverbolt.

Cheetor quirks a brow. "...Thrust? But... Thrust is, well, competent. Waspinator, not so much."
However, he gets rather floored over the whole Silverbolt thing. "Geeze... Megatron didn't pull any punches." He sighs. "At least we get him back." Unlike Dinobot, Tigatron, Airazor, Depthcharge, and Rhinox, he adds mentally.

"Perhaps," Botanica says in response to the comment about competency, "But, really, it is... far easier than one would like to admit to create a shell program that creates alterations all the way down to one's spark. Not that it is really easy mind. But it is certainly possible."
"She succeeded in forcing Silverbolt back into the dominant 'life' of that spark, yes. But what of Jetstorm? He was- is- his own entity. Silverbolt's essence was used as the raw materials but..." Botanica spreads her hands, "Silverbolt was not overly happy to be forced into a technorganic existence, Cheetor. You, Primal, and the others- you chose it. I didn't, but I am mostly content in this form. He did not, nor really did Nightscream."
She sighs, "Nor did any of the other inhabitants of Cybertron. We win in a way, Cheetor. Megatron and Optimus both fell into the planet's core, and that triggered an upgrade of the entire planet. The sparks of the populace which Megatron held captive were reformatted into technorganic bodies, as was the entire plant. We have plants, trees... balance of machine and animal."
"Not everyone appreciates what was done, even if it did save their life. You're- in my time- dealing with it well enough. But things are far from settled."

Cheetor shrugs with a faint 'heh'. "I suppose we chose, but given that it was this or get scrapped by the Vehicons, it's not like the alternative was better." He sighs, looking at his arm.
"I see where you're coming from - but I'm not sure there's really a right answer. On one hand, yes, Silverbolt has the right to choose what he wants to do - as does Jetstorm, but..." Cheetor's hands clench closed, then open as he drops them to his sides. "It seems like either way, one of them winds up being robbed of their life, or their free will."
"They've got to at least agree that it beats enslavement, though." Cheetor leans forward, elbows on his knees. "Granted, who are we to decide what to do to them and their lives..."
