Duskwing listens intently to what Swindle has to say about art theft, nodding along with it. "Dat makes sense. Huh. Wish we hadn't left Pzz-Zazz already--bet there was stuff dere you coulda sold to Needlenose."
"Deal on the weapons! Still think you're low-ballin' me on dem tools. 'member, I is a regular customer. An' I even do work for you, so I figure youse want to give me a better deal then just any rube, see? 'Cause on account of we're good friends and business partners."
If it were other kinds of numbers, Duskwing might be that dumb, but his larcenous streak gives him a keen memory for numbers with credit signs next to them. He's not at Swindle's level, but he does like cash and comfort that he didn't have to work for.
He frowns slightly. "I feel bad I wasn't dere to help stop the casino heist. Slag, that really sucks half-burnt exhaust to get ripped off by 'Bots like dat. If I hadn't had to stand watches up here, I woulda busted some heads but good on dem fraggers."

"I'm not sure I'm going to be able to move these, Duskwing, or even if they're worth as much as I think they are. They could be from this reality or the home reality of whoever you got them from." He waves his price guide vaguely. "Either way, I'm only estimating at their market value. I can go up to 550, but that's cutting my own fuel lines."
A sour look crosses Swindle's face. "It's alright, pal. The Autobots had a good plan and they executed it flawlessly. They would've run rings around you." He sighs and lowers his voice. "I'll tell you what though, anyone who brings me Mirage's deactivated corpse, I'll install his invisibility mod in them for free, plus give them a cash reward."

Duskwing shifts his weight from one foot to the other, tilts his head back and forth, and makes several abortive staticky noises that might have been the beginnings of speech. Finally he straightens up.
"Okay, fine. I'll take it. Here's the tools--550 for dem, 250 for one whirly sword, and a grand for dat dere rifle," he agrees. "Gonna hang the other one on my wall."

"Great! Pleasure doing business with you, as always," Swindle gushes as he counts out the energon tokens. Trying to explain complex concepts is comparable to pulling teeth, but the actual doing business with Duskwing is always a pleasure.
