"What the fragging-" Sentinel Prime starts, and then the vampire tears out his throat, thereby rending his turn completely useless! This just bites. It's not like he needs his head attached to his shoulders, and while this is unpleasant and he's definitely screaming inside, he's not dead or even all that near death.
Jetfire's cutting wind slices a deep line into the sparkly vampire, and Override blasts a hole into him, but as soon as he drinks some of the energon flowing from Sentinel Prime's torn throat, the wounds slowly start to heal!
Looks like they'll need to hit him hard and fast to get him down if they want him to stay down! The Stalker Vampire springs away from Sentinel Prime, who completely wasted his move action, and leaps at Jetfire, since he's stuck!

>Magic
Jetstorm springs to his brother's defense, thrusting a hand forward and blasting a strong gust of wind out towards the Stalker Vampire - nothing damaging, but it will hopefully knock him back, or slow him down. "I am not thinking so, creep!"
He looks over at Jetfire. "I am thinking is being two-stage attack!"

Jetfire cringes as the Stalker Vampire leaps for him, unable to dodge while he's rooted in place. But Jetstorm has sprung to his rescue, distracting their glittery foe!
His brother having bought him time, Jetfire strains to move, finding that it's primarily his hands and feet that are rooted in place. Then, as suddenly as it began, his first turn apparently runs its course and Jetfire stumbles a little as he is released from invisible bonds. Heat rushes through him as his hands and forearms burst into flames, like he'd meant to do in the first place.
"Aha! I am thinking so too, brother!"
Thrusting his arms forward, he unleashes his charged fire spell at the enemy in a massive burst of flame that seems to shape itself into something like a dragon as it goes. He certainly wasn't responsible for that! When the attack finally cuts off, he's left feeling strangely drained and with an odd craving for rubies.
"I am also beginning to have confusion about what I am doing for real and what is only simulation."

"Hey!" Override shouts as the Stalker Vampire tears out Sentinel Prime's throat. She runs to his side, sliding to her knees, next to him, as she fires after the thing some more. If she has any magic abilities, she hasn't figured out how to activate them yet.
"Hey, you okay?" she asks, leaning down to check on his status. It's probably a stupid question, given that it's hard to answer when one's throat has just been ripped out by a vampire.

The Stalker Vampire is blown out of the way by Jetstorm's wind, right into Jetfire's flaming dragon and Override's lasers, which generates a Combo Attack for double damage! Given the weakness to fire and the lasers putting it over the edge, that Stalker Vampire is toast. It goes up in smoke, leaving a treasure chest behind for Jetstorm to open!
Sentinel Prime woozily gets up into a sitting position and glares at Override, pointing at his busted throat. Does he look okay? Does he look like he can even answer the question?
And oh shoot. He hasn't even damaged the enemy again.

And Jetstorm does scuttle over to the chest and opens it...... ...to get a bunch of energy restoration items - More Star Rubies for Jetfire, Air Sapphires for himself, and Earth Emeralds for Override. There is also a general-use Red Potion to restore the health of any type! "Sentinel Prime sir! Be trying this! Maybe it will restore your neck!" Jetstorm holds the potion out to Sentinel, kinda missing the point that it miiiight be hard to drink with one's throat ripped out.

"Ha-ha! Take that vampire scum!" Jetfire strikes a victory pose and a few strains of Fan The Fire play out of thin air. Apparently his allotted CD is also his soundtrack of life.
Oh hey, rubies! Jetfire darts over to snatch up the star rubies, and quickly pops a few into his mouth. Maybe that's not how they're supposed to be used, but it seems to work. Ah, life-giving rubies. Nectar of the stars. Jetfire can now feel strength and renewal flowing through him.
His mana replenished, he joins Override and Jetstorm by Sentinel. He scratches his head, not missing the point his brother did. "Ah... perhaps we could be pouring it down throat-hole?"

"Well, you guys are the experts in video games," Override points out. "What would work in a video game?" Override, for her part, has managed to avoid taking any damage, mostly due to the fact that she uses a ranged weapon that doesn't call for... excessive power-up periods. Normally. If there's a lot of time left in an episode to fill up, it becomes Stock Animation Time and calling on the power of the Cyber Key suddenly takes a lot longer.
(Weirdly, Override's transformations never take a whole lot of time. That's pretty exceptional, given which reality she's from.)

Sentinel Prime silently pops open his vehicle mode gas cap and attempts to grab the red potion and dump it down into his gas tank. The look on his face seems to be saying idiots!
Provided that he does get the potion, his neck quickly restores, and given that the potion contains more health than Sentinel Prime needs, he suddenly becomes ubercharged, sparkling with rainbow light and glitter all over, yeah!
Sentinel Prime transforms and rolls out to freaking punch some enemies before the ubercharge wears off!

Jetstorm is a bit surprised by the ubercharge, and Sentinel's takeoff, but shrugs it off quickly. "Guess that is answering question of how!" He takes off in the air, not transforming this time. Assuming the others follow... Up ahead, there's a rather nasty lake a bit off of the road - apparently there's been some radioactive waste-dumping going on in it. Sentinel Prime has a chance here to punch enemies! There's some big seeker-sized mutant crabs near the water's edge! About a half-dozen of 'em, and they've spotted our trekking heroes.

Jetfire takes off after his brother and almost challenges him to a race... but suddenly, crabs! Half-a-dozen of them!
So instead, he challenges Jetstorm to a different kind of race. "Ha! I am betting I can be taking out more crab-monsters than you, brother!"
Rushing forward with a blast of his foot-thrusters, he proceeds to attempt to kick a mutant crab in the face. Too bad for them if it turns out they are innocent creatures instead of evil monsters. Jetfire is impulsive and they made the bad mistake of looking monstrous in a video game simulation!

Override is in vehicle mode and in the process of overtaking Sentinel when the others spy the crab monsters. She doesn't even transform back this time, instead driving right towards the farthest one (let one of the others get the nearer ones) and firing at it.
If the crab monsters are innocent, this probably loses her any number of kindly princess points, but really. It's a simulation where they kill monsters, one of the others on the team are already working on killing one - that's all Override needs to know!

Sentinel Prime is a xenophobe. Elita-1 tried to 'fix' that and shove that flaw up in the closet, but this is a video game. It's not real. So why not let the ugly xenophobia out of the closet? If it nets them the Bad Ending, they can just play through again.
So the ubercharged snowplow calls out the distinctly un-Autobot, "Hah-hah-hah, die, organic scum!" and cheerily starts trying to run over and mow down poor, innocent, monstrous crab mutants.
One may imagine cartoon treasure chests to be lighting up in his headlights; he is just that excited about the prospect of finally scoring some sweet loot and a new outfit.

Thankfully, they are Evil Mutant Crabs who are a result of pollution!
Jetfire makes that particular crab monster stagger, reeling from the kick. He gets his balance back fairly quick, though, and charges Jetfire with a claw-swipe.
Override's shots don't do much to the hard shell of the one she's firing at, but one shot strays to the face, and the monster roars, claws covering that spot.
Sentinel Prime will find he knocks some of the creatures over, but at the expense of some big scuffs and dents in his plow. They don't seem very damaged, though...
Jetstorm unleases a tornado blast at one, which just seems to slow its charge down, and not do any damage. "These guys are being tough!"

Jetfire blasts away from the crab monster with a flare of his heel-rockets, avoiding its swipe. Which is probably a good thing if the mutants are as strong as they are tough!
Landing beside Jetstorm and taking up a fighting stance, he says, "Perhaps we should be doubling up, brother?" He pauses. "Can we even be making the combination in this game?"
