Impactor gives Drift too much credit if he thinks that Drift is clear-headed enough to employ 'possum' mode as a diversion. Also because that's a stupid dirty trick. Drift's an idiot, but not a deceptive idiot.
He's also wounded in the side, had a harpoon through his shoulder and a half dozen other injuries that, had he been, um, not Drift would probably have stopped him just on Common Sense alone. His systems, thanks to the simulation, have been reading a steady--and fast--loss of energon for quite a while now.
If he could form a coherent thought, it would be 'this sucks'. As it is, he'd be marginally glad (if he were aware of anything) that at least the screaming alarms on his HUD have finally gone dark and shut up.
Unfortunately, so's everything else.

Now certain that Drift isn't faking it, he straightens up and sends the radio code necessary to end the simulation. With the sim ended, Drift should find himself on the floor of the rather plain room and completely unharmed - unlike Impactor himself, who is mostly returned to the same condition he was in when the simulation started, though one arm panel on his harpoon arm still lays on the floor, and that arm is still a touch grayer than it should be. He scowls at it, then shrugs and holds out his hand to help Drift up, should Drift like to take it.
"Not bad," he admits.

Oh look, Drift can talk again. Aren't you glad? He groans, the absence of alarms it own sort of disorienting shock to his system. "That," he mutters, "sucked." He is not at all pleased about his performance, least of all the apparent passing out like a wussbot.
It's hitting him harder than it should because, well, dammit, fighting's the only thing he can do and he'd kind of thought he was good at it. He pushes to his feet, pointedly ignoring Impactor's hand. He doesn't need help. Only weak mechs need help.
And only weak mechs pass out.

When Impactor's hand is ignored, he shrugs and withdraws it. Then he kneels and picks up his missing arm panel, scowling at it. Without looking up, he observes, "Better dying in here than out there," he nods towards the door. Then he grunts and adds dryly, bitterly, "Believe me, I know."

Don't take it personally, Impactor. Drift just doesn't want to need help. It's not you, it's him. Plus what if that hand came off in his?!
"Yeah. No one around here to save my aft this time." Wing had gotten him away from the slavers. He can't think of anyone here who'd stick their neck servos out for him.
On that note, he looks around, grabbing what he thinks might be a piece of Impactor, and holding it out. You know. If it's yours. Just trying to help.
...How the frag did Wing pull that line off?

Impactor accepts the piece-part, though it means holding it and the panel both in the same hand. The downside of only having one! He snorts as he starts to turn away.
"Wouldn't be too sure of that," he replies, before heading towards the door.
OOC: Out of thread unless stopped.
