Month 3, Week 2, Day 7 Open
Ravage is obviously tracking.
He has been tracking the same scent for several days, actually, because the trail loops, doubles back, crosses over itself, and often just disappears. It is the trail of a passenger seldom seen unless she wishes to be seen- and usually when she is seen, wrecks some sort of mild havoc.
He is tracking Screwdriver.
He pauses and lifts his head, scenting the air. He then rears up on his back legs to investigate an air vent.

Ravage is on the right track, though it's not just scent that reveals this. Down the vent, just beyond a turn in it, a soft whirring sound can be heard. The noise gets louder, though it never grows that loud, and is soon drowned out by a 'patter-patter' sound of someone scrambling along on all fours. That, then, is shortly layered with the sound of a childlike voice singing, "Go, Speed Racer, go Speed Racer, go Speed Racer, go!"

Mrrrrrr
Ravage drops down, leaps back, and the jumps easily into the vent. It's tight, but not cripplingly so, and he carefully makes his way toward the location of that child-like voice.
He doesn't have Screwdriver's frequency. Even if he did, the cat would probably have hunted her down instead. More fun that way, and he isn't known for his communications skills.
When he reaches the bend, he slowly eases his head around the turn. Perhaps whatever is pattering down the vent will run into that spikey face that even a mother couldn't love.

It's the whirring thing that comes first. A small, brightly painted, wind-up race car whirrs towards Ravage's spikey face. If Ravage doesn't move, it will bump lightly into that face, back up, then move forward again. Screwdriver, however, stops short and peers into Ravage's single eye with her own two disproportionately large optics, mouth opened slightly in a little 'o' of surprise before she brightens into a wide grin. She points at the little car and explains, "I should so like to move. If I could, I would slide along yonder on the ice, as I have seen the boys do!" 11 The Snow Man by Hans Christian Anderson.

Ravage jerks his head back when the toy bumps into his face. The toy is then free to continue on its path down the shaft, albeit by threading between Ravage's legs.
He tilts his earspikes forward, and though it may be hard to tell, there is a bit of curiosity in his expression. As there is not enough room to turn around, or really to pass Screwdriver, he starts to slowly back up.
As he does, he asks on the lowest possible strength radio he can manage, //Frequency? Talk?//

Screwdriver sings, "Billy, don't you lose my number, 'cause you're not anywhere that I can't find you!1 Eight-six-seven-five-three-oh-nine! I got it, I got it, I got your number on the wall!"2 Should Ravage attempt it, he'll find that Screwdriver's radio frequency is, in fact, 8675.309. This was probably intentional on her part.
While the toy man now be free to thread between Ravage's legs, the delay caused by it bumping into the cat and backing up gives Screwdriver enough time to snatch it up. She opens a compartment on her left arm and inserts it, explaining, "By the time she had caught the flamingo and brought it back, the fight was over, So she tucked it away under her arm, that it might not escape again, and went back for a little more conversation with her friend." 3 Then she peers back up at Ravage, optics opened fully.

Again, not that it is very obvious, Ravage's expression changes. He has moved from curious to confused. He has trouble communicating on a good day, and Screwdriver's unique method of speech doesn't help. How is he going to manage this?
He does try the number sequence, though there are w few false starts where he doesn't get the decimal in the right place. At length though, Screwdriver should pick up the question.

Screwdriver closes the panel for the compartment in her arm and nods, singing, "He can fly, he can fly, he can fly!"1 This isn't quite true, but he did fall quite a distance, which is about the same as far as Screwdriver is concerned.

Ravage crouches down low in the vent, checking for any sound that might indicate an eavesdropper. There's always the possibility that someone could be listening in. Someone like Frenzy.
As satisfied as he can get that they aren't being observed, the spikey cat tries to lightly headbutt Screwdriver. It is a very uncharacteristic move from the cat.

Screwdriver tilts her head in confusion, then her optics widen in realization. "Sparkle lights princesses, Barbie girl!" 1 she sings cheerfully. She leans forward, into the headbutt, and places a hand on Ravage's head, adding conspiratorially, "Of course Peter had been trifling with them, for no one can fly unless the fairy dust has been blown on him." 21 Barbie Sparkle Lights Princess commercial2 Peter and Wendy by J.M. Ravage accepts the hand on his head with only a very slight flinching. Used to petting he is not. He has no idea what Screwdriver is talking about, except that she seems to understand what he is asking, and also that he wants to be circumspect about the entire thing.
At least he hopes she does. Ravage does not need to be the beribboned steed to Screwdriver's Barbie Girl.
//Safe place?// Because really, he doesn't want to be that vulnerable where anyone from his reality can find him easily.

Screwdriver tilts her head to consider. Then she looks at Ravage very seriously, holds up a finger, and declares, "If you can stand there and eat your fill, you can also go on your four legs. I don't care to drag you home again in my arms." 1 Then she starts to back up until she reaches an intersection that allows her to turn around. She waves Ravage to follow her, and creeps through the ducts. Now and again she pauses to open up one access panel or another. Her fingers tickle over sensor controls, temporarily disabling them in order to pass. Sooner or later, someone will no doubt notice the gaps in the sensor logs, as she isn't really forward thinking enough to insert a loop, but it does avoid an immediate response. 1 The Little PeasantOOC: Temporary disabling of security with other-mod permission.

Ravage silently follows after Screwdriver, watching with some interest and no little consternation at how easily she disables various security measures. Having Frenzy about was bad enough, but now Ravage must worry about another, larger creeper in the night.
There is some worry, too, because no one will know where he is. Screwdriver is known to be unpredictable. What if she is leading him off to do him harm? This is not an unreasonable worry, given Ravage's reality set- or Decepticons in general.
Still, he follows. The lure of peace- however momentary or artificial- is too strong.

The concern is valid, and the day may come when Screwdriver decides she wants to see how Ravage works. After all, they're all just toys to her. Fortunately, odds are pretty good she'd be able to put him back together good as new, too. She's got a knack for that sort of thing when the subject isn't organic.
Screwdriver's path takes her to one of the unused berths on Ship, one she has appropriated for her own. Against one wall, a number of haphazard cages have been stacked. In each cage are a number of Pz-Zazzian animals, dirty and ill-kept. By this point, some are starving, and one might wonder how any are even still alive at all, until they notice that against the wall opposite the main entrance a supply of more portable food and grains have been stacked. She's keeping the fed, but she's running low on supplies. Against the third non-entrance wall the metal slab intended as a berth has been raised up high enough to serve as a work bench instead. It is covered all over with a combination of mechanical devices and dead animals in various stages of dissection. In many cases, she has clearly attempted to put the creatures back together, sometimes with parts from other animals, other times with machines. Here, a feline with a second head grafted in place. There, a rodent with mechanical legs replacing the real ones. A lizard with artificial wings crafted to look like butterfly wings attached. A dog with bird wings and a primate's back legs. And that, just what is apparent from a quick glance.
“Chairs and a fender first,” Screwdriver declares, pulling out a seat for Ravage despite the fact that the Decepticon is obviously of the four legged sort. “Then we shall build a house round them.”

Ravage stops short at the sight of Screwdriver's workshop, and his lips curl up in a grimace. It isn't the grisly sights within, or the apparent lack of regard for organic life that causes the expression, or the low growl. Ravage as about as much regard for such things as he has for the dirt beneath his feet.
Possibly less.
No, it's the smell that cause the snarl. He really detests the smell of organics. He can't imagine why she would subject herself to it.
Being that this is a Transformer-sized chair, Ravage leaps into it curls up. He seems at ease, but he is certainly watching Screwdriver quite closely.
