OOC: Month 7, Week 1, Day 1. Currently Mirage, Slider, and Scenemod. More may be later with permission.
Override is the first through the hatch in the forward segment of the ship, kicking her way through the run down entry. The ship is dark, prompting Override to turn on her headlights (which are in her feet, making the name rather awkward in her case) and airless. The ship itself is a wreck - if the whole vessel is this way, it'd border on suicide to try and fly this thing. Plates are jaggedly torn aside, sparking wires litter the deck, and a strange orange liquid is splattered against nearly every surface.
Override's first instinct is to immediately start rolling down the hallway, but then she remembers that she's a team leader. What's more, while she's the fastest, she's not really the most ideally suited to take the lead. She is, after all, teamed with both a scout and a spy who can turn invisible.
And Override, while not the toughest, is the most likely to actually dodge a shot and fastest to be back on her feet if that shot hits.
Damn. Override needs to bring up the rear, doesn't she? Override hates lagging behind.
She scowls, then gestures. "Mirage, take point, stay out of sight. Let us know which way you're going over the radio. Slider, behind him." She transforms, falling into vehicle mode. Even if she can't go anywhere near her top speed, she flat maneuvers better as a vehicle. Besides, why be a Transformer if you're not going to bother to transform?
"All right, then. Transform, and let's roll."

Mirage drops soundlessly down behind Override. He grimaces in disgust as he takes in the fluid-spattered interior.
//This place looks neither promising nor inviting.// he says, using radio even before Override orders it.
He looks over at her when she collapses into vehicle mode. //I am more silent on my feet, and the floor looks rather unfriendly to tires, but very well.// Mirage joins the Queen of Speed on his wheels, engaging his cloak as he does so. He rolls cautiously- but not quite silently- at decent speed down the hallway, pulling away from the other the mechs. He dodges jagged panels and sparking cables as he goes.

//At least it looks better in here than outside on the hull.//
Slider slips in behind the other two. It's not a quiet as Mirage or a quick as Override, but it gets the job done. As the order to transform is given, Slider hesitates and extends his rifle out of his arm. Taking care for a moment he fires into his opposite hand, producing not a hole, but a tracking chip. Immediately afterwards his location signal is broadcasted over the radio channel.
//I've been thinking that it might help if we're all traced so if we get separated, then we can find each other again.//

The floor does feel a bit weak under the wheels in some spots, and the orange fluid splattered around is sticky and clinging, not quite tar, but not nearly as slippery as oil.
There's also faint skitters of vibration in the floor. Something is moving, deeper inside the ship, but what? Could just be the machinery of the ship itself, the engines and what systems are still functional, but the vibrations, however weak, are erratic, not orderly.

Override considers. For one thing, she's stuck in the rear. For one thing, even though she knows that she's fast enough to get to robot mode and get out of the way if the deck beneath them start to give out, she strongly suspects the others may not be. Vehicle mode maneuverability and quick mode-change are her strengths, but she has to play to the strengths of the group as a whole, not just herself.
// All right, all right. Back to robot mode, keep the current formation,// she orders, transforming as she does. // Oh, and good thinking, Slider.//
She draws her double-cannon but doesn't arm it, frowning as she continues to move forward at a brisk pace, even in robot mode. Despite her hurried rate, she's careful about her footing - Velocitronian races often include segments or obstacles intended to be overcome in robot mode, and she's pretty good at picking her way through these.
// Am I the only one thinking this derelict isn't as much a derelict as it seems? //

Mirage shifts to robot mode per Override's orders, though neither she nor Slider can see him do so. There are a few areas where one can tell he rolled through puddles of orange liquid, because Mirage can't hide his tire treads past a certain point. That combined with a quickly radioed set of coordinates should give Slider enough of an idea for him to hit Mirage with a tracer.
Once in robot mode, Mirage leave not a trace at all, careful to avoid what he couldn't as a car. He loosely cradles his rifle in a ready position.
//I agree Override. It... almost reminds me of Pee-Dee and Dai-Janku- if they had gone completely round the bend.// It also makes him think of Screwdriver, but Override and Slider never met that particular Junkion.
Mirage ranges slightly further out from the other two, checking any intersections carefully. He also does something people almost never do when trolling through a derelict spacehulk. Mirage looks up.

Slider may not exactly know Screwdriver's name, but he was there too see her head get shot off on the bridge... and live. The meaning behind the other two references fly over his head as well, but he's a little busy. Override was easy enough to peg, but Mirrage takes a bit more time. When he finally does, he transmits the data back to the other two to add to their map functions.
Afterwards he keeps his weapon trained directly on Mirage's signal location. If their forward is somehow detected and attacked, he's not about to waste precious seconds aiming. As he does, he does his best to avoid the orange stuff, but skids occasionally as he fails.
//Any idea what this stuff is?//

The 'stuff' on the floor seems like it could be fuel. The vibrations in the floor get stronger. Something's coming, just around the bend.
The Autobots are awfully correct about the derelict not being as derelict as it seems. The something rounds the corner, and it's a large Lithonian with a spike-shooter, a smaller Lithonian with a pair of knives, and a Vorg with thick fingers and thicker physique. They're all terribly scarred, their outer plating or skin flayed, but they don't seem to be feeling the pain; rather, pain is something they seem apt to bring.
A spray of spikes is sent at the Autobots, and the Vorg seems to be hooting savagely, though its war-cry is lost to the lack of air.

Override falls back into vehicle mode the moment they're attacked, the move quick enough to put her beneath all but a few of the spikes, the last couple grazing her roof.
"Cyber key power!" she shouts, summoning her key and arming her weapon. It's entirely possible she can be heard despite the lack of air (if so, it's probably because she's also transmitting her words over the radio so she can 'talk' in space, as Transformers are often shown to do).
// Mirage, if you're ahead of us, you need to be back here with us. Go for the one with the spikes. Slider, take knives, I'll get... the other one, // she snaps as she drives forward, straight towards the Vorg, firing as she goes.

Mirage is actually not back with Override and Slider, and is instead much closer to the Terrible Trio. He remains invisible as he flattens himself the wall to avoid the spikes. Yes, he could have taken most of them for the team, but doing so would have taken him out of the fight. He's a better asset whole and moving then skewered and down.
He raises his rifle and snaps of two shots at Spikes (but not Spike), one through the center of the chest, one through the head. Once he does this, Mirage edges back down the wall toward Override and Slider. They should be able to tell his position from Slider's tracer chips.

OOC: Skipping Slider due to timeout. I will assume that nothing horrible happens to him in the meantime.
The Vorg takes a lot of sucking hits, and its hot blood bubbles as it hits the vaccuum, but it doesn't slow its charge against Override. It seems to be quite determined to grab her by the arms and tear them off, but strong as it is, it is slow and clumsy.
The one with the spike shooter does go down after Mirage's shots, twitching in a pool of something orange, thrashing limply on the floor. The one with the knives takes a moment to slice open the downed one's chest, yank something black out, and eat it with those too-sharp teeth. Then it looks down at the puddles on the floor, looks for footprints, and stabs at where Mirage might be with both knives, one a bit left of the other for better coverage.

Since Override's in vehicle mode, her arms are actually folded up underneath her, making them a bit difficult to grab. It may settle for grabbing at her sides, but it's slow and clumsy, while she's at her most maneuverable as a vehicle. She twists just enough to avoid the grab, though still doesn't slow her own run right towards the creature's left leg, firing as she goes.

Mirage, cool as an ice pack Mirage, is frozen for several seconds as he watches Knives use Spikes as a sort of impromptu mid-fight snack powerup. That? That is disgusting and freaky and Mirage wants away from it. Now.
The seconds of disgust do cost him, though. Careful as Mirage is to not leave footprints, there's simply too much fluid scattered about the hallway for him to leave none at all. Mirage twists sharply and one of Knives's knives hits nothing but wall. The other knife, however, vanishes as it moves just inside Mirage's invisibility box, nicking Mirage's side.
Mirage's response is to try and shove the muzzle of his rifle under Knives's chin and pull the trigger.

Knives promptly tries to orient his knives on Mirage based off that nick, to bury them deep in Mirage's abdomen, he doesn't have long to try, because his head explodes into a fine orange mist that hangs for a moment as a fog of death. His body falls to the floor, jerky.
The Vorg doesn't try to eat Knives, which Mirage might find a relief, but Override probably won't. It is forced down onto one knee, the other leg shot out, but it keeps trying to grab her, now wanting to fling her hard into a wall or at least tear off a car door.

Override, by this point, is already passing the Vorg. She's preparing for a spin that she never gets to make, as the creature flings her into the bulkhead. She transforms as she flies, rolling with the impact enough to avoid severe injury, but taking a severe denting to her backside. This doesn't slow her down one whit. She lifts her cannon and fires several quick shots, not at the Vorg, but at the floor, breaking the already weak deck plate in that area and sending it crashing through. There's still enough intact floor to allow a car to drive by on one side, but just barely.
She's back on her feet in an instant, and running aft, shouting, "Come on! We gotta get the team they sent our way, and then get us all out of here."
Looks like there's a door ahead...
OOC: Vorg dropping with scenemod position.
