Overlord extends a shaking finger and pokes at the forcefield. Most would only try that once or twice; it hurts, after all, but he methodically pokes it a few times long after most would stop. Then he taps at the floor, unashamedly sounding it out to see what might be underneath those panels. More shielding, or just metal? His internals rumble, as he ruminates as to what sort of breacher he'd need to crack a forcefield like this. Overlord's not familiar with the specific design, and his internals don't really want to be custom-tailoring him new munitions when they're busy trying to fix the fact that he was just exploded from the inside. How inconsiderate of them, Overlord thinks, pursing his lips in a pout. Oil Slick's story is vaguely interesting and vaguely disconcerting. Another universe? Not even the one his Megatron died in? And yet... his Megatron might yet arrive here. Alive. If Oil Slick's story is true. Overlord had no reason to lie to Oil Slick. Most Transformers would just stop there. Overlord, however, considers that he has no reason to tell the truth, either. He's used to being recognised. To be unknown is an unknown thing for him. It's different. He'll give it a try. Overlord replies casually, "I'm Gigatron, a criminal psychologist with the DJD. Not surprised you haven't heard of me. I ought to kill you all now, but I suppose that being dragged into an alternate universe counts as extenuating circumstances." Perhaps there's something to his underlying psychoses that he chooses a name one better than Megatron. Perhaps it's nothing but a translation error. He glances over at Needlenose and remarks, "Hmm, a jumped up starving artist playing hunter. DJD, too, perhaps? To what do I owe the honour?" Overlord ignores Needlenose's comments upon his state.

Oil Slick turns toward Needlenose, but says nothing. The guy is moving and talking for the state he's in, so thus the basis for his metaphor.
It was not a name he had heard in a long time. The look didn't match anything from the historical records, but then again, this 'bot wasn't from his universe, so.
"What is this 'DJD'?" The pyschologist part seems to fit - he seems damn good at his job, so far.

Needlenose's commanding presence serves only to let Flame do an even better job of filling the background. He does so in spectacular form.
OOC: Skippable unless/until addressed.

Needlenose makes it something of a point to hover near Flame. Have to keep the 'recruit' reassured that he's being watched, right? He tilts his head to the left at the wreck's words, left antennae skewed a bit further in that direction.
"Dee... jay...?" he starts, attempting to make sense of what the other said. Then he perks up. "Well, I do like music!" he adds cheerfully, intentionally not responding to the business about 'jumped up starving artist.' It is a bit rattling, but it's far too early to allow a crack.
"Anyway, the honor is owed to my sense of curiosity, but Oil Slick, Flame, darlings," and now he turns his attention to those two near him, "Just how far along on the introductory spiel have you gotten? We have a loyal Decepticon here laying on the floor in a condition of considerable disrepair, and little enough progress made to alleviate that." Then he turns his gaze towards 'Gigatron.'
"We do have a loyal Decepticon, right?" he asks suspiciously.

"Decepticon Justice Division," Overlord answers smoothly. So, screwing with the DJD hunters that crossed his path is like working with the DJD, right? Even if he did convince the one hunter to kill his partner of three million years and then take his own life. It would have been more painful if Overlord'd done it himself. That was mercy on his part.
Needlenose sure is acting brave! Is he actually brave? Or is he a coward pretending to be brave? Or is he a coward who has pretended to be brave so long that the act has become reality? Because if he was, breaking him back to a coward again, like Snare who thought he was so unbreakable, might be a diversion...
"I have ever been faithful to our core precepts." Grab all the freedom he can for himself, deprive all others of as much control as he can, and crush everything else under his heel. "But you said alternate realities? Do tell me that we still stand for xenocide on a mass scale, for making the universe tremble before us."
Overlord will be so disappointed if they don't, not that he has any intention of staying here long, once he's repaired.
OOC: I am going to assume that 1) his interview happens and his 'Gigatron' fake identity is basically accepted, 2) Overlord gets more or less repaired, 3) he is released off into the wild Ship, and 4) that he is placed with Medical, heeheehee, due to his claimed function.

"A justice division... Hm. Curious."
Oil Slick turns to face Needlenose - "I had told him that he had been dragged to this universe, and what had brought him to this reality."
He turns back to 'Gigatron', frowning. "Well, I suppose that's one way to conquer," he says in regards to xenocide. "Hard to rule over everything if there's no one to rule over, though."

Needlenose is, in fact, a coward who's pretended to be brave long enough that it's becoming true, but he's not exactly there yet.
"Oh," Needlenose answers casually as 'Gigatron' explains what a DJD is. "We don't have one of those." Nevermind that the Mayhems more or less are one of those. But they don't call it that. "And yes," he waves towards Oil Slick. "Conquest over genocide, but genocide is certainly a viable alternative! The rest sounds about right, though."
He nods towards Oil Slick. "Good enough for now, I guess. It covers the most basic!" He then turns to eye the other robot warily. "I suppose there's no reason not to haul him down to sickbay. Get started on his repairs and his security interview."
OOC: That seems a fair enough assumption to me.

"Nothing curious at all about it," Overlord replies, yawning, showing the back of his char-blackened throat, "just nosy."
Now then, these Decepticons are a right bunch of wet blankets. He waves a hand dismissively, "You're assuming that what we'll find is worthy of being ruled by us. Some things, you know, are just better off dead." He peers at the unlikely trio with his one good optic.
"Anyway, as I said, I am a criminal psychologist with the DJD, and we were experiencing a bit of... penal dysfunction," to explain his rather macabre state at the moment, "but I would have had it all well in hand," he raises one hand in a crushing gesture, shedding more ashes, "in the end."
It's always about control.

Oil Slick nods at Needlenose. "Genocide is more of a trump card to use for conquest, in my experience, but we all have our...varying preferences and methods."
The 'better off dead' comment is a bit unnerving, but Oil Slick tries to ignore it. He motions for Flame to disable the forcefield. Once the other scientist does, he motions to one of the doors. "Medical is in this direction."
Now, though, Oil Slick is considering the myriad ways to solve prison uprisings with his skills.

"Oh, I've got him," Needlenose tells Oil Slick, though his tone is long suffering. "After all, he's bound to clutter up the passageway with falling parts if we leave him to get there on his own!"
He doesn't really answer the argument about organics' worth to be ruled - that's more a philosophical opinion than anything else, and besides, he's rather used to be the fondest of organics among a given group of Decepticons. He walks towards a storage cabinet and opens it up, removing an anti-grav stretcher, then strolls towards Overlord, lowering it to move him onto the thing for transport.
OOC: Wrap?
