Assault is completely taken by surprise. He turns to round a corner when Scourge makes his move, a biting pain jolting through his systems and making him blank out briefly as half an armcannon and a wing are cleanly sliced off. The weapon explodes and sends Assault toppling sideways, smacking against the wall, gasping before he forces himself to look at his assailant.
He knows who it is even before he lays eyes on him though. He was hoping he'd last longer than this! Talk about a disappointment!
"L-Lord Scourge-!" Nonetheless, he sounds rather surprised in between hisses of pain, bracing himself even as he cracks a smile. "W-well, I was never much good with that a-anyways, but I s-still must inquire why d-did that, s-sir?"

"You know what you did," Scourge growls at Assault.
He steps forward and tries to plant a boot against Assault's cockpit, to crush the glass inward and force Assault all the way down the wall to the floor. Scourge doesn't intend to kill Assault, not in the end, but he doesn't betray that thought right now. For now, he just acts stone cold killer. Scourge is curious if Assault will crack under the fear of death or maybe just the fear of a sound beating. He's known those who would.
If not, there are other means of control, and Scourge happens to know one such web-spinner.

“There’s a bit to lose from just killin’ Assault, don’tcha think?” Vortex murmurs. “From the impression I got a’ leader boy, I wouldn’t think he’s the sort t’ give up that sort a’ advantage. Then again, I ain’t seen ‘im angry yet, have I?” he hums, tapping his chin most ponderously. Anger accompanying bouts of insanity were pretty common for Decepticon leaders.
//If worse comes t’ worse though, we should probably grab n’ go.// Which just means road trip! … Again! And Vortex playing medic, which was going to be absolutely fantastic for Assault. //Think he’s gonna be too stubborn to call us?//

"We'd have one less soldier," Brawl agrees, nodding. "And we can't build more," he adds, thinking aloud.
//Wait, go where? Where are we gonna go? You don't really think we're gonna have to leave, are we?// Brawl makes sure he's packed, just in case they have to leave in a hurry. Yep, his gun is in his subspace pocket.
"Is Blast Off mad at me?" he asks, changing the subject abrubtly.

"That d-depends on what you m-mean, Lord Scourge-GAH!" The cockpit shatters beneath the force of Scourge's kick, but as he slides down it's not the pain that is on his mind.
Oh no, he's far more concerned with what's put on show now that the golden cockpit glass no longer hides it.
A bomb with a bleeping red light.
"Ah, you may want to be careful, Lord Scourge. I do n-not know how...Stable this contraption i-is. Who knows what force might set it off?" Still, as much as he doesn't want to be blown up, he still manages to crack a smile, his orange optics narrowing as he looks up at his commander. "The charge is, in all likely hood, sufficient to blow us both to kingdom come."

Assault could just be bluffing. Scourge, however, does not have long to decide. He's not going to bargain with Assault, because bargaining would give Assault power. Scourge is not going to risk trying to defuse the bomb himself, because Scourge needs his hands.
The option that Scourge selects is grabbing tight onto a pipe running across the wall and blowing out the wall behind Assault to try to suck Assault into the void of space, where the explosion can just take Assault's head, and Scourge can watch it all from the safety of the ship and glower disapprovingly.
Hey, if it was a real bomb, it would have probably blown a hole in the wall, anyway, and this is Scourge's ship. He can put a hole in the wall if he wants to.

//Well, gotta make tracks back t’ Pz-Zazz first. Gotta establish heads n’ tails of this universe after all, make some connections. Then we lay low n’ play merc or somethin’ fer a while.// Typical Decepticon politics, really.
“... Blast Off?” Vortex chuckles, in spite of the fact that a bit of the psychotic of lightness leeches out of his voice. “He’s always got somethin’ up his tailpipe, that boy. What makes ya say that- sonuva slagger!”
Oh, joy, another little surprise for the day. //A bomb! Ya got any other lil’ secrets you wanna tell us, Assault?// Vortex grumbles on a private line, grabbing onto a hand hold as the air is sucked out of the hallway. //‘Cus I’m feelin’ less n’ less inclined t’ help ya by the minute.//
Regardless, the helicopter tries to make his way over to Scourge, scowling at the new hole in the wall and the sight of Assault spinning off into space. What the slag can he do at this point?

//Oh yeah, you ain't been to Pz-Zazz yet! I'll take you gamblin' with me. Maybe then I'll win some.//
"I dunno, he's just been extra Blast Off-y lately. I'm just wonderin' if I did something to tick him off and didn't notice, like the time I used all the armor polish and didn't restock it and he didn't speak to me for a month," Brawl replies. When the air suddenly starts getting sucked out of the hall and trying to take everything else with it, the tankformer ineffectually attempts to dig his feet into the deck before managing to catch a hand on a doorframe. His stream of curses would no doubt be very interesting if it could be heard over the rush of air.

Assault would probably appreciate Scourge being full of surprises more if he wasn't sucked through that hole and is now floating through space. With a rather annoyed look on his face, at that! And Vortex just makes it worse by being more of an obnoxious twerp then usual. //Oh, shut up Vortex.//
Damn, he wishes that he could have been outfitted with upgrades that allow him to fly in space. At least then he could make a grand escape! But no, he is stuck there, optics narrowed in a glare at Scourge, but then it fades into a look of boredom as he gives the tanker a silent applause.
//It would seem that we are at an impasse, Lord Scourge. I would rather not float through space until I hit a populated ball of mud. At the same time, you are quite right about my identity, and thus, you should know that you need me! I am an essential tactical advantage and terminating me would be quite the mistake, do you not agree? Now cease this nonsense and be so kind to fetch Blast Off so he may reel me in.//
But he puts in another call. Because while he admires Scourge for being so willing to discipline his troops, the severity of his methods and the fact that he did it on him are far too much to overlook.

//This is not an impasse. This is not even an overpass. This is the end of the road,// Scourge growls, still holding fast to that pipe. //You aren't essential, I don't need you, Blast Off is not coming for you,/// because Barricade is coming for Blast Off, and Barricade is a creepy stalker car, //and your bargaining posture is highly dubious.//
Scourge is not going to give Assault so much as a centimetre. Decepticon warlords do not negotiate to their troops when their troops lie to them and then pull a bomb. Scourge is, however, going to try to give Assault a nice big plasma blast applied directly to that bomb in his chest.
Essential? No one is essential. New 'cons arrive all the time. The next 'con with Assault's... attributes might be more tractable, and even if not, Blackarachnia's done Triple-Changer rebuilds before...
Scourge hopes Blackarachnia and Flame get here soon to pick up the pieces, though. They always need more blue Seeker pieces.

Well, Decepticon lords in Vortex’s universe tended to not kill their backstabbing SiC even though there are continual acts of betrayal, lying and sabotage up to and including the re-awakening of the Combaticons themselves! Even the Combaticons get away with trying to throw said lord into the sun, which is partially why Scourge flipping his lid so entirely catches Vortex by the wayside.
//I need that, slaggit!// Vortex snarls over the howl of rushing air, snapping his glue out of subspace to aim at Scourge’s face. The sudden, dreadful sinking feeling he gets tells him he might be a bit too late though.

Brawl does not ordinarily mind when his fellow Decepticons fight each other. Indeed, beating up his fellow Decepticons is his favorite recreational activity. Blasting someone out into space is something else, however. And now Vortex is going to shoot Scourge? Brawl is confused, which makes him angry. This is just like when Assault asked him to switch sides during that training exercise! What's he supposed to do? Who's he supposed to shoot? Can he shoot anyone without it coming back to bite him later? Whose side is he, in fact, on? Slag it all. He'll stick to his strengths.
"WHY'S IT GOTTA BE COMPLEX, HUH?!" he shouts, snapping off a shot at Vortex. "CAN'T EVER BE SIMPLE, CAN IT?! WHAT HAPPENED TO FIGHTIN' AUTOBOTS?!" he adds, slewing his electron gun around to point at Scourge and squeezing the trigger again. He'd shoot Assault too, but he doesn't have line of sight from where he's standing.
OOC: Multiple attacks with permission.

//Wha-! Are you daft!? Do you not realize-// Is Scourge for real? Assault is actually taken back by Scourge's words, not because of their intimidating nature, but because of the sheer insanity behind them. Scourge has to be bluffing! No Decepticon commander is this mad! Well, there is Galvatron, but Assault isn't from around that time. Oh, it's not like Assault hasn't been in this position before, but never this soon, when he has done so little, faced with a superior who seems intent on taking him off-line for good! This is one of those rare times where there are so many variables, so many uncertainties, that he actually panics a bit.
Maybe he should follow Starscream's advice. Yes, it's quite alright to beg kindly ask for mercy when a big bad Con says it's okay to!
//I yield! You win! Just don't shoot it, I don't know what Hook set the charge as! I shall do whatever you ask of me!// Wait, what're those two stooges doing? //VORTEX, BRAWL, STAND DOWN YOU BUFFOO-//
But then, before any bit of glue could hit Scourge's weapon, the warlord's shot lands. Assault can only look down in absolute horror as the bomb literally explodes in his face, ripping him apart with an explosive force and making it rain Seeker chunks.

In Scourge's reality, the appropriate thing to do here would be to reprogram Assault. He must have gotten this violent streak from... Shockwave? Well, Shockwave did beat Ultra Magnus out of his armour...
Then Vortex covers Scourge with glue and sticks him to the wall. This is just...
If Scourge wasn't going to kill Assault, Assault is definitely dead now!
Then Brawl shoots Scourge, too.
Everyone dies.
With fire. Fire... oh, right, Scourge wanted Flame here. He opens his radio.
There's a rain of Seeker chunks. Scourge struggles, trying to transform and break the glue. He needs to break Vortex and Brawl's heads and throw them in the brig. He doesn't trust Flame to do a good job it it, but Flame has to be here to fish for Assault-pieces. Bringing someone else in will only make it even worse.

OOC: Borrowing from Oil Slick with player permission.
Flame has been ordered, and so Flame comes… bearing an oddly menacing-looking, smallish contraption secured to his forearm with a strap and an almost violently determined look on his face. The contraption – a handheld sprayer with interchangeable reservoirs and adjustable nozzle – is a loaner from Oil Slick, and loaded with a solvent the chemist has assured Flame is harmless to everything but the sticky, mucky menace he's come to combat; his determination comes, in part, from focusing on what he will do instead of why he has been called. In his free hand is his pistol, because he may have to defend himself – and perhaps Scourge, though Flame will never be made to say that Scourge needs others to defend him, for Scourge is a powerful mechanism – and he has yet to test if his flamethrowers function normally in a vacuum. (Stranger things have happened.)
Whoever has the glue weapon will be fired upon first, he decides as he peers round a corner and finds himself staring up the corridor at Vortex's back. Scourge is – Flame heaves a shaky sigh of relief, clearing out the acrid tang of boiling metal in his air filters. Scourge doesn't seem to be melting alive. There may be a little more time to hurt whoever is responsible for bringing out that stuff in the first place, then. Flame's fingers twitch at the thought.
But Vortex is the first readily sighted target, so Flame takes aim on the helicopter's torso and opens fire as he approaches, hoping to clear his way to Scourge, at least. Scourge may have given him leave to attack, but he would still feel so much better if Scourge handled the smiting. Contemplating the violence he himself could do makes him feel sick enough already with fear of reprisal from Spinister.
